I really appreciate your videos because I had never looked into shades of green bc none of my family or friends who want to go on a trip are military, but I recently made a friend and her husband is military and they needed help planning a trip and now I constantly reference your videos to help them plan! Plus I'm actually going with so now it's helping me prepare and to help them as best as I can
Random! But we are having our first trip end of this month to Disney at shades… curious if you’ve tried the fantasmic dining package and if so which restaurant did you prefer? 💖 So nervous I’ll miss something
Booking question... Let's say I want a suite June 1st through June 5th 2025. Using your tips for 365 days out, are you saying I would have to book the suite as 5 different reservations? Get online May 31st 2024 at midnight to book June 1st then again for each subsequent night? Or can I book my 5 nights all at once?
Technically, yes, you could do it that way online and book each night individually. Thats kind of a last minute vacation situation though bc the room you want may not be available for those consecutive nights. If you were booking exactly one year out though you would just need to be 365 days our from your first night you want to stay. So, using your example, you would want to book your full stay (4 nights) ON June 1st 2024, for next year. If if doesn't go through online with the reservation system make sure to call asap and see if you can book that way. If you're only able to get a couple of the nights you need then book those.....and then continue to stalk the website until your remaining nights become available, book those separately, then call later to combine for your updated reservation number. I sure hope that explanation helps!
@battlegroundbiscuits thank you. I had to do it that way to secure campsites at the Florida state parks. Nearly every site would be gone within 1minute of the 11month out rule. One thing though? How is that last minute? Wouldn't that be more of a first minute thing lol. Midnight on the 31st/1st is the first minute I could possibly get the date I want. On top of that each consecutive day would be the first minute I could get that date...
@@eagle1hdahhh I see, so you’re doing the camper for part of the trip and SOG for the other part? That will be a fun way to split your vacation 😎 LOL ok this is getting deep 🤣 What I meant was that the tip to book one night at a time would be used mostly in last minute booking situations…which is usually how we book. When you attempt to stay at SOG at the last minute it’s harder to get the rooms you want for consecutive nights. But in your case since you’re planning ahead then yes, you’d be booking first minute lol
If we didn't have Story we would have no reason to get these either...well, that and to show yall in the vlogs lol But they are nice! Just more than any 2 people would need :) Especially when the standard rooms are so large as it is.

We were talking to Tim when you were doing that 😊

Exchange in SOG sells trash bags
Perfect! I always use grocery bags but I'm glad real trash bags are available too. Thanks for sharing that!
Too much for me and the Wiff but if the whole group came we can definitely split the cost.
