This is actually one of the original three hotels at Lake Buena Vista. It opened in the 70’s as a Howard Johnson’s. The Applebees is the old Howard Johnson’s restaurant. The Drury Plaza Hotel was originally a Travel Lodge and the Wyndham was called The Dutch Inn.
You do the best resort tours! I think I;m correct from looking at your playlist, you haven't done Orange Lake yet? I'm hoping for a tour from you because I know it'll be thorough.
Sup Demi! I must say, of all the off-property hotels you’ve reviewed, I definitely would consider staying at this one. I love the fact that there are many food options close by. That’s a big help because eating at the on-property hotels or in the parks can for sure put a dent in your wallet. The rooms look decent and having things like comfortable beds and a microwave help make up for it not passing The Outlet Sitch. I’d stay away from that chair though…it’s seen better days.😂 Also, I agree 100% about using Uber/Lyft instead of the shuttle. I feel these hotels should have “Just use Uber” written on their shuttle schedules.🤪
Demi, have been watching your Disney Springs hotel videos. We are planning on staying one night at Springs this Sunday 🙈 before we head to the Hard Rock at Universal. Would you stay here over the Drury? Thanks so much for the work you do!!!
I loved this review, I always thought this one would be pricey but there are ones with far less benefit with similar rates! I miss this area, used to live in Vista Way which is kinda across the street from this hotel and I loooove this Applebees, such great value in meals and nice environment too.. I am definitely considering it now for my next vacation
Ever since I watched your room tours Ive done my own outlit stich. We´re only 3 people, sometimes with a laptop, sometimes not, but I love doing ¨bed sicence" and ¨chair¨ sicence (That´s a me thing)
Have you stayed at the Fairfield inn at lake buena vista? I have two reservations one at Springfield in the village and one and fairfield in lake buena vista! SOS is leave on Sunday
How was the stay we're going back to Orlando in July and stayed at this hotel 2 years ago but the website says they are doing renovations to some of the areas. The hot tub needed cleaning last time but wasn't too bad. I saw some recent reviews that had me second-guessing booking them again.
Hey Demi, Great review .. We are from the UK and planning our next trip, you already answered a bunch of questions we had about this hotel. The one thing we was wondering (and actually sent a email to the hotel last night) is can you walk to Disney Springs area if you miss the shuttles for example? Google maps shows the huge freeway??? in the way and says its a 45 mins walk to get around it, but local knowledge may know better 🙂 Thanks so much and we will be watching more of your videos to help us out in the future. James
My Wife and I stayed there in 2019 for our honeymoon to go to Disney World, universal and? Discovery Cove, it was a nice place to stay, but I would say the transportation was not good, so we just chose to use Uber. Other than that the hotel was fine to stay up@@MagicalHijinx
5 minute drive, this is on the other side of the highway. If you want the holiday inn that’s walkable, it would be this one - ua-cam.com/video/9phrNA_Er6U/v-deo.htmlsi=W9gpF9WjX0ijq1If
Do you know if you arrive way before checkin time, will the hotel hold your luggage for you, while you visit the parks ? I know Disney hotels do this, not sure if other hotels will do it?

Always nice to see the offsite resorts so I can recommend to family/friends when they visit! Thx for the tour! 🫶🏻
Love showing the off properties!
Please do a stay at Residence Inn at flamingo crossings! We stayed there and it was AMAZING!
It’s on the list!
Looks like a nice place t stay and the bus schedule for the parks is good.
I very much enjoyed my time here!

I had no idea! That’s so cool!
@@MagicalHijinx Oops… there’s actually one more, the Royal Plaza Hotel which is now the B Hotel.
I’m not sure if you’ve reviewed the B Hotel yet.
wrong Holiday inn. This video is the HI Lake Buena Vista on 535 not the Holiday inn Disney Springs on Hotel Plaza Blvd.
The old college program housing is across the street from there. Nice hotel! That chair! 😮
That’s so cool!

Thanks for this honest review!
Always honest here 😊
Love how thorough you are! Down to the shower water pressure and number of outlets!
Always here!

Haha! They’re never perfect but it’s a great choice!
Microwaves are so darned convenient…I mean, why go to a fine restaurant when you can just stick something in the microwave?

Thank you!
I’m staying there next month so I’m excited.
Last time I went on vacation, I stayed in a very cheap hotel and honestly it was a horrible experience 😂.
I hope this works out for you!
Yes the beds are really comfy there we plan to go back this year but not sure if the upgrades to the property are complete according to the website.
I hope it works out!
Did you feel the pool area here or Holiday Inn Disney Springs was nicer?
Both are equally nice!
Hi , we have this place booked for our Oct vist. Did you happen to see if there is laundry facilities please ?
Any plans to stay at the delta by Marriott hotel celebration? Would love to see a vlog from there.
I’ll add it to the list!

Unfortunately google maps is right, but if you have a car or get an Uber you’re 5 minutes away!
This is a extremely underrated property
