Really appreciated your explanation of statemachine[requeststate] explaination. In your example, "Tempmove" could basically be a user input from an HMI for mode control. I think the best analogy is a customer at an ice cream shop. [Request state] is like a customer pointing a finger at what They want on a menu. The menu could be considered Statemachine array with multiple options to choose from. When the customer points they choose item 5 (chocolate). the worker (which could be compared to a equal instruction) compares item 5 to its option of chocolate and then hands that chocolate ice cream to the customer.

Nice way to put that into a simple explanation of a normal person getting ice cream.
Thanks & let me know where I can improve to be more helpful

@@ShaneWelcher actually if you could make one on product selection recipe using arrays that I'd love to see. Ty

Hmmm... 2 dimension array for recipe loading maybe?

Does this work with a bool[DINT]. I have a conversion that is using latches and bit instruction that is setup B203:0[N201:0].

Indirect addressing can be defined to a deep array of data.
I use a very simple theory in most video training because things can get complex very quickly.
One bit can point indirectly to another bit to answer your question
