We knew our second son had OCD by the time he was six months old. He would cry if just a spot of food or dirt was on his hands. He was also diagnosed with ADHD when he was about seven years old. He still has both at 27 but has learned to overcome his dificulties. Our oldest son(age 30) has Duplication15q syndrome, on the spectrum and severe learning disabilities. Our daughter(age 25) is gifted and is finishing medical school this coming year. Then our youngest son(age 23) has Duplication15q syndrome, moderate classical Autism, mild CP and microcephaly. But they are all perfect to me. Only the oldest did not get a regular high school diploma or get higher a education. Keep up the good work parents your children are beautiful.
My daughter was like this she could have dirt on her hands or she would cry her eyes out I never knew it was ocd until she was 6 and I noticed other signs and then it all made sense
Cute family. Abigail is chubby sweetness. And I have terrible OCD and you are doing great with the boy. Keep having him test himself no matter how much it hurt his mind. It's the best thing for OCD.
I actually see here no problem at all. Did he want to kiss? No. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t love her. He still tried his best to accommodate the wish from parents. He just needs his time, at his pace. Congrats to mom & dad, adorable well behaved kids 👍
I would obsess over my homework or weird things at the age of 13. I would cry and stress. Then at age 18 I would obsess over other existential things. At 20 I had instrusive thoughts that I couldn’t escape. They repeated and repeated all day all night. I wanted to escape. I was at the worst part of my life. At 21 I was finally diagnosed with OCD. I thought I was the only one. It’s so refreshing seeing these new generation parents getting their child help and making sure they are ok. It will make his life easier. I still struggle with it. But therapy, and my medicine has helped. Thanks for sharing this.
Yeah but there is something out of place in your home right now but i bet you cant find it..omg its really just out of place and its triggering me real bad you have to make this right..lol..
They weren’t trying to force him. The boy has OCD so they are preparing him to adjust to her not having the cleanest face. That is why he kept refusing to kiss her on the cheek
I understand, in this case I think is an excercise so he can learn to manage his emotions and thoughts (that can be quite powerful and quite debilitating in OCD) so he can do stuff even if it's hard. Anyways, have a nice day!
i had OCD i couldn't sit on are family couch because i thought it was dirty from are dogs and i would have to shower each time i came inside from outside i now dont have to worry about that all it took was overcoming it. i know how this kid feels.
This seems so mild. He seems so sweet. A situation like this would have me laughing. But what my son does never makes me laugh, e.g. I plug my charger into a socket and he screams nooo put it in the one next to it, and if I don’t he screams blood curdling screams turns hysterical jumping and stomping banging his body everywhere until we both end up in tears.
I have just started to watch your videos. I began to think about you all more than ever. I have decided that I can’t watch anymore for the fear that i will lose my own life. Maybe i can come back when i can handle empathy 😕
I can relate do these videos so much and now I’m questioning if I have OCD. I thought most of these things were normal until I watched these videos, lol.
Same. Like for example if one of my parents had touched certain kind of food I disliked, I couldn't accept being touched by them unless they washed their hands. Thankfully most of those things subsided as I grew up.
sorry, i hope you respond to this. Not trying to spread hate at all. But i am concerned about your baby. She seems to be a bit.. overweight for her age? im sorry if this sounds stupid. im not trying to spread hate whatsoever.
My now 18yo son was diagnosed very young. We would have to leave early because he had to go down the steps a certain way, if he didn’t it was back to the top to try it again. He would take more time straightening his toys to all face the same way than he would playing. And he would randomly stop what he was doing to straighten the tv remotes and put them all the same direction. It was so painful to watch.
when my son was 4 i took him out to breakfast and he wanted toast with butter on it. when the waitress came with our order the butter was visible as a pat of butter- as minutes went by and the butter melted, my son went crazy bc he did not know where his butter went!!! No 😅 remember he has OCD which makes him to want everything no less than perfect, he wanted to kiss her on the forehead but she kept moving so he would end up in the cheek or between…which for him that can’t happen because thanks to his OCD even the place where the kiss will go has to be PERFECT (hope this helped you understand a little bit more)
Does he really have ocd? What’s his symptoms and how was this diagnosed. Really interested I have a four year old. Also were other perfessonals saying he had something else?
Yes. He has ocd and Autism. He was diagnosed at the neurologist and we had him tested because he cried for days after I made him leave a store before he was done straightening up the bottles of shampoo before the age of three..

"Kiss your human sister".. why was this so funny?😂😂
“Abigail turn here ! I need to kiss you on the forehead” 😂😂 on a certain level this so cute/funny even though it may be torture for him.
I cackled at this. He feels awkward when she turns to look at him. The mom had me dying laughing when she lost it.
I love how hes getting mad because he couldn't give her a kiss
That’s actually not a good thing
I love how frustrated the dad is🤣
