- Its manufacture describes the T-Rex Tonebug Sensewah as a way of adding wah effects to your guitar sound, but without the use of your feet. But that's not entirely accurate.
What the Tonebug Sensewah actually does is something you could never recreate with your feet: it triggers wah-sweeps based on the amplitude of your guitar signal, creating a vaguely synth-like filter that mimics the attack and decay of every note you play. Not even Savion Glover could be that fancy with his footwork. Additionally, the Sensewah features a mini-toggle that flips the effect tone from something classically wah-like to something more synth-ish. You'll have to watch to hear what we mean.
@dbenc I agree. I'm not sure if it's the pedal or the tinny, screechy tone going into it, though.
not a good review or test. Not thorough at all. Bad tone.
This is a really awful review!! I expect more from gearwire.
Ricardo Gonçalves You expect more from Gearwire? WHY???
Can i use it on a bass guitar? 🇧🇷
sent mine back after 10 minutes use. either I missed the point of it or it was faulty. could hardly tell any difference when on or off. looks good and was a bargain on amazon at £37. no good if it's useless.
