What I also love about FAST RMX is how it took an already amazing Wii U game, gives us all the tracks and DLC, adds new tracks, and improves the visuals, resolution, and framerate consistency. It even supports HD rumble! A lot of Switch games have been Wii U ports, and it's nice to see the quality and value of these games noticed, I wish people would realize the Wii U WAS a good generation due to its amazing library.
Man I don’t know if you’ll read this comment, but I wanna say this: I first started watching your videos when you dropped the Warframe guides, and expected to see more Warframe content, but then I saw your channel was much MUCH more than that. You make exactly the kind of videos I like, videos that talk about all games and life. It has a little more effect than you might think it does. Love your content, keep it up.
- the GTA games are comfort games for me, but especially Vice City and San Andreas as I have the most nostalgia for them - NFS Underground 1, 2 and Most Wanted (2005) - Star Wars Jedi Academy and Battlefront 2 (2005) - Skyrim - Left 4 Dead 2 - the Halo franchise (CE to Reach) - Resident Evil 4 - the Batman Arkham games - Warcraft 3 - Diablo 2 Honorable mention: World of Warcraft from back in the day, until the Panda expansion. WoW used to be my favorite game way back in the day, but it's not the same anymore.
@@BBKDRAGOONYou should play them as soon as possible. Personally I haven't finished Arkham Knight and Arkham Origins isn't even part of Rocksteady Arkham series because it is WBs game. They just copied Rocksteadys Arkham trilogys fighting style. It's not bad though but not as good than any of the Rocksteady Arkham trilogy games. I would play Diablo 1 through before playing Diablo 2 because it gives better perspective on the sequel.
My ultimate confort game ia Sonic...when I install the latest PlayStation port of Sonic, just with the intro Im already with 10 years old playing my Megadrive with that warm feeling. But then GTA series, metal gear solid series, those are also confort places for me. Shadows of the Colossus is also special, it just blew my mind at the time and have returned some times to it.
YESSSS! That makes me so stoked to hear. Hard to believe it's been like 7 years since it came out. I played a bunch of it again for the footage and it's just held up so well.
A game I keep coming back to is "Sky: Children of the Light." Zero combat, almost all chill vibes. You can essentially "beat" the game in a couple hours, but it gives you reasons to keep replaying it. If I'm having a bad day, Sky is almost always my go to comfort game.
Lots of comfort games come to mind, but any PS2 era mascot 3D platformers like Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, and Sly Cooper will always have a special place in my heart. Between the colorful worlds, quirky humor, and interesting enough stories, puzzles, and mechanics, they always keep me entertained enough to reach the credits. That said, its been a lot of Risk of Rain 2 for me lately. Something about the atmosphere, music and game loop (along with being able to play with friends) has captivated me more than a lot of recent games and convinced me to try out some more rouge-likes.
i think that my favourite comfort game has to be Valheim, the vibe is just unmatched, especially in the first biomes, everything feels so calm and beatiful and every single music track is just wonderful. I also might be a bit biased because i really love the retro/ps1/ps2 style, but i really think that it's an awesome game and with friends it's even better. Anyway i hope you keep it up with this style of more laid back content, i actually really enjoy it and find the topics really relatable! :)
I watched the introduction sequence of NieR:Automata, and that alone was enough to convince me. It’s possibly the most perfectly orchestrated opening I’ve ever seen in a video game. It’s going on my to-do list for when I can get a new PC, probably after I play Elden Ring. On a sidenote, I go with the pronunciation of “aw-tom-uh-duh”. It may not be completely accurate to the spelling, but it has a much better flow to it than all the other ways I’ve heard people say it, and I think that’s sometimes the most important aspect of verbal language. You don’t want it to sound “choppy”, as my old high school French teacher would say.
Great video as usual! A humble request from a subscriber - any chance you'd ad a little text label in a corner to indicate what game is showing? Easy way to tell us what is on screen, even if only for 20 seconds. You play some that look amazing and I've never heard of - this video not so much, but some - Thanks!. Thank you, I may do this for some videos. Often times I like to put them in the description or in a pinned comment, as I like the way the footage looks without the text, but I will do this on some vids moving forward. Are there any games in particular you want the id on? Cheers and thanks
@BBKDRAGOON There is a multiplayer arena shooter that looked incredible you had on a couple videos, where there was a lot of movement and jumping (not Titanfall). I don’t know anyone who finished Ico who doesn’t hold it in high regard. The only people who talk down on it are people who haven’t really played it or finished it.
So far the games that you have showed is too intense, too fast that’s even worse than sonic frontiers, and too overwhelming, yes I like challenging games, but not too that level, that’s what turns me away from games, and with everything going on in the world, I need something calm, something easy to pick up that’s worth my money because of rising costs!
Should I give Nier Automata another chance then? I have it in my library, played it for one hour and found the arcade-like bullet hell to be just as boring as I remember arcade games. It would've been okay if I only knew how to put the game down. But the game starts with "in order to learn how to save your game, keep playing". But I never reached that point. How many hours do I have to play before I can save? I can't play a game that expects me to have no life. I have no comfort games by the way. I play until the credits roll, and then uninstall. But System Shock remake and Cyberpunk 2077 came pretty close.
Minecraft BF4 Battlebit Dead Rising 1 and 2 Cod zombies waw - BO2 Are my go to comfort games 😊 When Fast RMX came up i had flash backs to Starwars EP1 Podracers! I recently got it on steam to replay and it holds up! Very fast, fun, and challenging!

Ik this is an old video but my comfort game is Call of Juraz: Gunslinger. Do check it out!
Destiny 2 was my comfort game.. :(

Near Auto-tomato
aka semi auto tomato
Nier:Auutomata, I love this game. But I do get sea sick from playing it. So I stopped, before I could finish it. Very sad about it.
12:41 "Don't spoil anything."
Proceeds to immediately spoil the multiple endings and 9S gameplay 😂
ICO age like cottage cheese I’ll take it!
Black ops zombies is a huge comfort game personally~
So far the games that you have showed is too intense, too fast that’s even worse than sonic frontiers, and too overwhelming, yes I like challenging games, but not too that level, that’s what turns me away from games, and with everything going on in the world, I need something calm, something easy to pick up that’s worth my money because of rising costs!
All I have to say it's just guys please play Nier !
I hated Deadlink. Having to start all the way back from the beginning when you die is just not fun. Waste of precious time.
I hear you, but it’s also a roguelite… roguelites are all fresh runs after death
Minecraft
BF4
Battlebit
Dead Rising 1 and 2
Cod zombies waw - BO2
Are my go to comfort games 😊
When Fast RMX came up i had flash backs to Starwars EP1 Podracers! I recently got it on steam to replay and it holds up! Very fast, fun, and challenging!
