The man on the second plane that said “.. and I’ll see you when you get here. Bye babe” has me balling my eyes out. He knew he was going to die and said “I’ll see ya when you get here” talking about the afterlife. He seemed so composed too. So tragic..
I've listened to Brian Sweeney's voicemail many times over the years and teared up at it, but I'd never googled a photo of him before just now - he honestly looks like Superman.
My brother was on the plane that hit the second tower he went to visit my grandma after coming home from the military. May everyone who died Rest In Piece 🕊💖

To buy into the " 4 jacked planes hypothesis" one must ask, why none of the buttons were ever pushed. The pilot of AA11 never contacted his flight attendant on a jack. Not one of the FA or passengers ever mention how jackers entered cockpit or their nationality. There is no engine noise heard on ANY of the phone calls. Ever. The FA on the calls are calmly telling someone the jackers are spraying tear gas in the cabin, but nobody is hearing coughing. The calm voices of the FA's, no airplane engine noise, and no background noises from people coughing or crying, are just 5 of 734 piece of forensic evidence there were no 19 jackers on board.
what is sad is how many times she had to repeat stuff. its sad she wanted to help and really didnt get the opportunity because of incompetence on the ground
It took a long time to write anything because of the pain. I talked to my wife on the phone she was on the 108 floor of tower 1 and I believe we said I love you 1000 times over until there was no longer a return I love you from her as I heard the tower falling and then nothing. Rest in peace my best friend and the love of my life until I see you in heaven. Our daughter looks just like you and we will always remember the love we had and the best times. I love you Brittany 😥😞😢
This is the first comment on any video that actually made me cry. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I’m sure Brittany was a wonderful person who is certainly sorely missed.

I am so sorry for your loss..my mom’s coworker had a brother in the north tower and he was in the impact zone. He died instantly. They both are watching over us and guiding us through life. Sending love to you and your daughter. I had just lost my dad a year before this attack. 💕
@Crazy Canuck I wasn't joking but okay. I seriously bet most of these 9/11 widows moved on very quickly. I think I actually watched a video on this exact topic a long while back. They all had their excuses like "I know he wanted me to move on" and stuff like that. You can probably find that video on youtube as well. I probably even watched it on here.
Also probably about all the things you still wanted to do in your life. Mistakes you made, lifetime you maybe wasted. Maybe even your children or other people depending on you that you'll never see again and will not be able to take care of or see them groing up. It's so so terrifying and sad, I'm so sorry for all these poor people 😭
My sister was underneath the Pentagon when the plane hit on 9/11. She was riding a subway on her way back from visiting me. She said she definitely heard and felt a HUGE explosion from above her. People on the Subway were in a panic. Luckily, she did not get hurt.
Betty Ong was the first one on the front line that day. She was the first to call to report a war has started, that she had no idea was going on. She even has her own Wiki page now, as she should. Such a brave woman
I agree. We need a national heroes day. And commemorate it with a stamp of Ms. Ong's face and in memory of the others we lost. RIP Betty. And thank you for your service.
@@Crossword131 Totally agree with you....She gave the ground a lot of crucial information, that we wouldn't of picked up on so quick. Who these guys were, where they were sitting (in 2A and B), what they did to hijack the plane, etc....and seemed so calm doing it. Betty Ong lived up to the last line of our National Anthem well, "Home of the brave"
I think she was probably discovered in the end, but she was very quick, to put together that it was a highjacking, and brave, and strong. She knew where it would end & stood in the face of it to create harm reduction.
@@rodrigo964 It was her duty... Yet she stayed extremely calm, brave, and strong til the very end. I think she knew she was probably doomed, but from the sound of her voice, you would of never thought that.
This might just be me, but this is a wound that never really healed. Every year I watch the clips replay on the news and it never ceases to make me tear up. I was only 3 at the time, but it's heartbreaking to think that all these people woke up that morning, ate breakfast, kissed their kids goodbye, told their loved ones that they'd try to be home early, some probably rushed out to beat the morning traffic, some were just trying to catch a plane home or somewhere. They all left their homes with the intention of coming back. They all started that day with the idea that they'd be doing the same old, same old tomorrow morning. Like that just sticks with me.
I was 5 in my kindergarten class when I saw it. 20 years later, I’m 25, and I’m still not over it. We were just getting our turn to take part in this great experiment called America, and I can’t help but feel that we have been robbed of that. The America that exists because of 9/11 is a shell of its former self. It’s hit me especially hard after watching the pitiful withdrawal from Afghanistan.
19 years today. Sat watching this in tears. Every single year I cannot fathom what these innocent people endured that day. 💔 Rest in peace to all involved. 💔
Chantelle Dorney I was in a twin tower with my mother but when the first one got hit she was smart and got out with me cause she thought the other one would get hit too she was smart
For the passengers on flight 93.. they were so brave and they refused to let the hijackers succeed. That’s something they’ll always be remembered for from the ones who didn’t personally know them. My heart grieves over everyone who suffered 😢
Jabari Thomas or it could have been the Capitol building they were aiming for...also give the late passengers the credit they deserve-the passengers of 93 fought back.
It’s 2024. This is the first time I’ve been able to watch any videos about 9/11. Even those of us on the west coast were completely traumatized by everything that occurred on 9/11. We were scared and numb. It’s like life stood still for the next 3 days when all flights were grounded. Rest in peace to all who suffered, died, and grieved. You are not forgotten! ❤
I was 18 and a freshman in college on 9/11/01. I will never forget that day. I returned from my biology class to my dorm room as the second plane hit. It was so surreal. Everyone was afraid and very uncertain about what would happen next. It was a terrifying time, but there was something beautiful that also came out of that time. Americans came together in ways I've never seen. Race, class, gender didn't matter. We all came together as humans at that time and people were a lot more kind for a time.
I remember that sense of unity, too. There was no races, religions, sexualities, or political beliefs. Everyone was just an American. Sad to see how far we’ve fallen from that today.
You were 18? I was 6 years old. That’s crazy, because I remember when the teachers were serious and they told us to go back in class. We thought it was a movie.
22 years.... Rest in peace to everyone who lost their lives in this tragic event. Thankyou to all the hero's, firefighters, medics, ATC controllers and many more. We thank you.
I remember watching the second plane hit the tower in 7th grade, our teacher moved the TV out to watch the coverage, and we all watched it hit, and the buildings fall. I will never in my life forget the horror of it all. Nothing was the same after 9/11. Rest in peace.
I was in chorus class in the 9th grade. It was silent. We watched in shock. When they fell there wasn't a dry eye in the room. I still feel that ache 18 years later.
Anthony Movius I was in the 7th grade too we were watch channel 1 we watched it every day in the morning. I thought the first phase hitting was actually just an accident! Then after the second plane hit I knew it was not an accident! It was so crazy I was trying to understand everything now that I’m grown it’s very horrible because I actually understand exactly what happened that day on 9/11
I was in 7th grade also, it's as if it was just yesterday. I can remember exactly what I was thinking and feeling that day. 💔 The older I get the more it breaks my heart.
My wife and I were in New York on our honeymoon when this happened. We witnessed everything there in real time. We had nightmares for many years. My heart goes out to the families that lost loved ones that day.
Oh wow, I'm sorry that what was supposed to be a wonderful time for u & your wife turned out to be so horrific. I was 17 & driving home from school bc I got sick when I heard about the 1st one on the radio. Got there, turned the TV on & within a min or so, witnessed the 2nd plane hit, along with the rest of the world watching live. It is a deep wound for many & I've always hoped everyone can find some sort of peace 😥
It's always the story of flight 93 that gets me the most. The sheer bravery of taking back the plane and sacrificing themselves to save thousands of others
I was 12 years old and in the 7th grade when 9/11 happened. I saw the 2nd plane hit on live tv as my English teacher turned on the tv during class and said that she thought we had a right to see what was happening. I grew up in a flyover state (Ohio) and that afternoon at lunch, I went outside for recess and looked up into the sky. There was always a plane flying overhead, but not that day or several days after.
wow thats amazing. I was the same age when The Challenger exploded. My teacher was playing it for our class because a teacher was going into space for the first time. That moment changed my life. Seeing the explosion, seeing my teachers face. The hushed whispers from adults, them rushing to turn of the tv. Ill never forget it. Now as an adult Im obsessed with true crime, accidents and mysteries. Maybe thats when it began?
I was in 5th grade. within a 10 minute period all the kids were getting picked up from class I was confused my mom got me and nonstop on the way home military jets were flying over groups of three every few minutes
Imagine hearing these voicemails and realizing your loved one is never coming home. It’s gut-wrenching to imagine their grief as they left those messages because they knew they were going to die, but they were so strong so their families could hear them calm and know how loved they were. 9/11 may seem like “a long time ago” to some kids, but for the rest of us, it feels like yesterday. For the families, every day without that person is 9/11. 😔
Well said, I was just 5 years old in India, when I and my Mom watched the second flight hit the World trade center live on the news channel, I was terrified after that day to fly again to meet my Dad in Saudi Arabia. RIP ❤️

Everyone always thanks the emergency service officers who risked and lost their lives that day. My mind, however, is on the passengers of UA93. They did not have to make that risk. They did not have to sacrifice their lives. They could've stayed seated and given themselves a few more minutes of life. But instead, they protected the White House. They took it upon themselves to prevent yet another American landmark from being destroyed. The passengers knew that either way, they were dying, so they went out protecting the White House.
I feel so bad for Joseph Cooper, the fact that he made those calls and knew of the hijacking before the planes hit the towers 😭 He looks so distraught that he was unable to prevent tragedy, even though none of it was ever in his shoulders as an individual. ❤️ I hope he's found peace.

For those who can’t imagine what the relatives of a murdered passenger goes through let me tell you 21 years later my girlfriend the mother of a daughter who was 21 at that time who died on United Airlines 93 is totally in eternal grief. I don’t know how to console her but let her remember and make sure that everyone remembers that horrible day when she lost her beautiful daughter. May she RIP and condolences to all the families of those killed that day. Horrible just horrible to see someone you care about lost in emotion and grief.
even sadder when they say that the flights were drones and the families who said they had loved ones on the plane were actors and there were no casualties on the planes bc they were drones etc it’s just sad.

Me too. And they tried to save them, but even some firefighters died. My father is a firefighter and was at the time. I don't remember if my mom said he was going to go help or they were about to send him. I don't think he went and I'm glad he didn't. I pray for those who lost their loved ones in this tragic event
I know a guy that missed his meeting in the pentagon where it was hit because he wanted a snickers and the machine was jammed so a snickers saved his life

"I'll see you when you get HERE." Here = Eternity. So poignant and heartbreakingly brave. After watching this, if there's an emotion that combines sadness, tinged with anger that's the way I now feel.
Mark Bingham's mother is a true patriot. She put everything aside and with what little information she had,she advised her son to take immediate action despite the horror and dreadful possibilities. What a great American
She understood that the fate of his son and other passengers were already sealed even if they didn't do anything so the best thing they could do try fighting hijackers and let the plane explode mid-air. Brave thing they did.
My heart sinks for Joseph Cooper (19:56 - 20:13 into the film). He's someone who clearly cares so much about his craft and has a passion for protecting the airways. It's clear in his eyes that after September 11th, he never looked at his job the same way again.
I hate that he feels he could have or should have done more or something different and failed. No! The only people to blame for what happened that awful day are the hijackers. I feel so bad when I see what are clearly victims beating themselves up and blaming themselves. I would like to give him a big hug. Poor guy.
I'm not American and actually live thousands of miles away in Nyeri, a small town 150k away from Nairobi (Kenya) but I still remember this day like yesterday. A freshman in college and walking back to my room after classes at about 5pm local time, I saw small crowds huddled around the TVs at different locations around our campus, which was very unusual at this time of day. I drew closer to check out and 9/11 was all over the news... terrible, terrible day. May God comfort the families of all those affected. Till me meet again.
I had a similar experience except I was in nyc. Walked into my college and everyone was huddled in the lobby listening to the radio. That’s how I learned.
Hearing the voices- the final words of the people onboard the hijacked planes is heart braking. Hearing them say their final goodbyes brings tears to my eyes. Condolences to all those who lost some on that fateful day or day to that day.
My father was on a plane from California to Dallas, TX at the time. My mom called me at work, hysterical, begging me to leave work (Indianapolis) as she was worried about attacks across the country. Dad didn't know about anything until plane landed and saw everyone at airport gathered around the televisions. He rented car and drove rest of way home to Florida.
My family is from Canada and my dad was held up for a few days in western Canada as we lived out east. His plane was on the runway and they were told they couldn't go.
Exactly 18 years ago today and still extremely hard to watch. Prayers to the victims and to the families who lost their loved ones. "To be absent in the body is to be present in the Lord."
poptart6662012 this is a million times worse than titanic. Titanic is a tragic accident that happened because of a natural disaster (as in a iceberg) this was a horrible catastrophe caused by humans.... I don’t think we can compare the 2. Titanic was horribly and extremely sad but this is on another level.
poptart6662012 sorry but you cannot compare the events of 9/11 to the Titanic! Christ! That’s almost laughable! 9/11 can be perhaps compared to Pearl Harbor but the Titanic? No!
Actually she can compare it to titanic, it's her opinion. Regardless of how the two tragedies happened and 1000's of lives were lost people were lost hearts were crushed and people across the world are still broken.
Of all the things that stuck with me after these years, it was the calmness and professionalism of Ms. Betty Ong and those brave passengers on United 93. When I think to complain about minor things in my life, I remember their voices 😢. To all the families affected, I pray for your healing and thank you for sharing your love one’s stories with the world. 😢❤🙏
They were all so calm. My coworker was on a plane that lost both engines. They were descending fast. He said it was complete chaos. Everyone was hysterical and screaming about dying. The pilots were able to get the engines restarted and go back to the airport.
It’s puts things into perspective. I can only imagine being surrounded by that and having to comfort your child before impact, knowing the end was moments away. Ugh heartbreaking

Would you believe if someone who hijacked the plane, say: there's a bomb on board? Like how can it happen? With all the strict security screening in the airport, how can they sneak a bomb?
I was 21 and a senior in college. I remember this day like it was yesterday. Being that age it was definitely a day that split my life into two parts: the time before 9/11 and then the time after 9/11. I still can't believe it happened and how many people lost their lives. I don't know why, but every year, I come back to watch documentaries about that day and cry. I think it's because I never want this event to fade from people's minds. I will never forget.
it happened bc we as Americans try to force others into our way of life.our politics, our religions, our western way of life. when this happens we make it easy for extremists like Bin Laden to take advantage to frustrated young men women, & children amd turn them into devote followers. smething like 9/11 will happen over & over again bc we don't learn. and the worst thing is we give them the wepons to attack us with!
I was two years old and 5 months at the time this happened. My mom got a call from my aunt to turn on the news that the towers were hit. My mom watched the whole thing. I think she even threw up. I'm watching this video now and starting to cry. One of my dad's best friend's who was also my dad's colleague at the time was one of the pilots of the planes that hit the towers. I went to Denver Colorado where they have a memorial for the pilots and people who died that day and I asked my dad who one of them was and that's what he answered to me. He literally shut down after I asked and looked like he was about to cry. I felt really bad about that. Also I realize that if my dad has gone to work that day he probably would have died to and I would have grown up with out a dad. My dad worked at United airlines at the time. That is one of the blessings I count but also take for granted a lot. I definitely won't anymore😢😢😢😢
I don't know if it's just me, but for me, this still hurts as much as it did the day it happened. It's something I will NEVER forget and I think of it often. So much tragedy and life lost that day, but also so much love, heroism and strength from those helping one another, rescuing others etc. I watch so many of these because I feel it's important to hear each persons story, who they were so that I will never forget any of them 😢
I’m with you. I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember everything I did that day. I was pregnant with my second child and I just cried all day. Too stunned to fully grasp it. I agree they should be honoured every year .
Yeah this is a trauma still. I'm not even American and the memormy of it and watching these videos feels very similar to my CPTSD. It's just so huge and shocking. It never seems to lessen....
I am from Finland and I never were there when it happened - but I am deeply traumatized since then and I also need to hear each persons story involved in this - I hope I would make one day trip to NYC and visit the actual memorial spot and comprehend that scale of it all in very front of my own eyes - peace and love
Same. I watched it live getting ready for my second week of college. I went to college and it was closed. I can't forget the look on everyone faces. That's the day when all of us became one .

This is a bullshit propaganda film which sensationalize the event of 9/11 but its intent is to divert your attention away from who did it a why and to divert your attention away the the over one hundred anomalies which blows holes in the official story.
I have a video recording pretty rare of missile hitting the Pentagon it's been taking off, not the one were you just see tip of nose when all 80 CCTV cameras were conveniently switched off this is a proper view, it's obvious that USA did it, also why not invade Saudi were 15 terrorist came from, it's like UK sending troops into Denmark because IRA bomb us
I’ve never thought about how awful this must have been for ATC workers. I can’t imagine how it would feel just watching everything unfold and knowing there is nothing you can do to stop it
Nothing they could do huh? Nothing IS exactly what they did. They should have done something. They literally did nothing. I hope they were, at the very least, fired for gross incompetence. They waited and waited and waited and weren't sure what to do, hemming and hawing, gee should we like um alert somebody or maybe they just flicked the wrong switch and don't know what's going on. Even after the first plane hit they did nothing. They are therefore partially responsible for what took place.
@@tq2769They're not responsible for anything what are you talking about. They had no control over the planes. I'm guessing you weren't even born when this happened. They'd already notified the airforce before the first plane crashed.

I hate to say this but the ones that died instantly when the plane crashed were the lucky ones. Imaging having to jump out of the building or dying from the smoke or being burned to death
Really sad some of yall are in the comments saying you lost someone in 9/11, and comment their names only for people to do some research and find out your lying. These people have real families , real loved ones. People out there really lost their loved ones. And they aren’t saying it as a lie. This was one of the most tragic things that could have ever happened in this country. Prays for everyone and anyone involved. So much love for everyone, including those who are not involved. “I love you and I’ll see you when I get there.” Remember that.
every time I hear Betty my heart breaks, what a strong woman. The only comfort I have for flight 11 is they didn't know what was happening. Being the first and happening quickly, everything was confusion and the unknown. The other flights had talked to family and some knew what was happening. Freaking awful knowing you're gonna die. I can't...may everyone RIP the world grieved for you.
Three days shy of the 20 year anniversary as I watch and cry for the lives lost, their loved ones, family, friends. Can not forget about those still suffering, like the air traffic controllers, the first responders, and the survivors. The brave, the hero's, the scared, and the lost, I pray for them all.
A friend of mine from a former job was our outside sales rep and he was scheduled for Flight 11 that day. The night before we changed the flight due to the client cancelling. I still can't believe it to this day. How close someone can come.
I can relate to this. Before I met my wife, she was supposed to travel from Philly area to have two separate meetings at WTC on 9/11. A day or two before, one client canceled-so she called the other to reschedule both for another day. Ten years later we met and married in 2015.
My cousins wife was supposed to fly on Flight 93 to head home to California but, she got sick and had to cancel her flight. It is weird how things like that happen.
Probably the saddest phone call I heard from the attacks was when one of the towers fell and the man on the phone just screams, and then the line cuts.
I heard about 9/11 years before I watched this video and I remember thinking a plane just crashed and a building fell, but after watching this I've realized the true disaster and chaos that happened on that day. 19 years ago today it happened, I wasn't alive when it did but my mum was and this morning while she was on Facebook she told me it happened 19 years ago today and she started crying. No one she knew died but watching her cried I hugged my mum tightly and then went to watched this video once she felt better... Rest in peace all the passengers who died during 9/11. And fly high in heaven, angels...
Every year in late august I find myself rewatching all the footage from that day. Hours and hours of it. It never gets easier. I find i have to stop watching after sept 11th because I'll go into depression thinking about what ifs, sad day for sure. Never Forget!
Oh, so we’re the same. I get borderline obsessed every august, as a Virgo. I just yesterday saw some footage & pics on Reddit I’d never seen. I was 12 on the day.
20 years later and the tears for the lost and remembering every moment is still fresh. This is something that I’ll never forget until I’m laid to rest.
This event shocked the whole world. I was a child, 6 years old getting ready for school in Mexico. My parents liked to watch the news in the morning as we got ready, so we saw the attack on live TV. I will never forget the shock and fear I felt. My school canceled classes the next day (I think everyone thought WWIII was about to start). I moved to NYC two years ago, and I remember that morning as a child. I still can't believe I call home the city that shocked me like nothing had before, 23 years ago. Completely heartbreaking.
Something about September, this time of the year, fall/school starting, never seems to be any different….. 20 years ago that day, I remember watching the second plane hit the WTC live on the tv in our 2nd grade classroom. Feels like it was just yesterday. As a 7 year old child watching this terror IRL realizing what was happening, my heart sank and I remember feeling a heavy burden crawl over my shoulders. Teachers cried in silent at their desks holding onto strength…. America changed forever.
Same, 7 years old in the second grade. Living in Newark, you could see the smoke from our classroom windows. I imagined the chaos. My teachers husband worked in New York and she was so scared. She left for the day. We were all sent home. 20 years later it’s still sad!

Im not from the US, but my heart breaks for all the victims and their families. It is unfathomable how people called on the planes to tell their loved ones that they love them and how people had to make the descion to get burned alive or to jump to their death. Rest in peice 🕊️🕊️
I can’t begin to imagine how scary this was for Americans. It was scary enough for us watching thousands of miles away in the UK. When that second plane hit 😞 just terrifying. 20 years and it still makes me so very sad.
It was very very terrifying. I was scared as a 10 year old kid, if that tells you anything. All we saw was all of the adults crying and screaming. I remember seeing it on tv as the 2nd plane hit. We were all SHOCKED watching that live. I learned that the world was evil at a very early age. Even got to see it happen along with the whole world. It was crazy that that happened on our soil. It was unheard of at that time. It erased our innocence for sure and now we don't trust anything or anyone anymore. We completely changed after this.
I was painting the exterior of a house when the attack happened. I was painting the front door and the owner was watching tv when the news broke about the 1st plane We had stopped to watch it when the 2nd plane hit. I remember feeling sick to my stomach even though I live in Texas I felt like I lost family that day. I still come back and relive that day.
Poor Joseph Cooper. It takes so much calm and stoicism to remain professional in these situations for everyone in these industries, and I feel so much for him welling up knowing he tried his best. Its ok Joseph, we all didn’t know. We all know better now xo
I agree! I'm a mom of 2 girls now and can't even imagine 😢😭 all those lives lost. They all were someone's child, parent, relative, friend etc. Completely innocent bystanders who just so happened to be there. They had families they just wanted to get home to. I think the older I get, the more it hits to be honest
I think the worst is for those who survived the impact, but had to deal with the choice of burning, losing oxygen or jumping. I would jump. I feel like the terrorists would get off on watching people suffer, so I'd wave or salute or something and jump. At least then you're going out on your own terms, kinda.
I work with AA at Boston Logan Airport and I can confirm we have every crew member that was on that plane framed, with a special plaque from which gate the plane got loaded on. RIP to them all / forever embraced 🕊
I am in NZ & I can still remember waking up to this news. It was beyond words. I can’t begin to imagine how those poor passengers felt on those planes , in the towers , the fire men , the police , , etc . You are never forgotten
I will never forget where I was, what I was doing, or how I felt when the most tragic event in American history took place. Rest In Peace to the lost, my sincere condolences to their families.
Even from Iceland, I remember it so well.. i was seven years old, my mom and my dad watching the live coverage, my mom was crying her eyes out and my dad just sat there with a blank face for hours watching. All those lives lost that day, it just breaks my heart
I’ll never forget this day. I was in 6th grade when I heard the news. It was on tv in my computer class and my teachers were hysterically crying. I just remember being so terrified because I couldn’t understand what was happening. Til this day, I hate being in high-rise buildings and I’m still scared to fly. If I’m staying in a hotel I usually try to book rooms that are close to ground level.
I was 14 but we had no access to the TV I only came to know it after 3days later when my dad bought news papers.in some African countries it was not easy to own a TV set in every home by then.
the actual voices i think make it scarier. I wasn’t alive when this happened so to an aspect, i can’t fully comprehend it. This makes it seem so much more real that in previously seemed, and really putting depth into a story i’d only heard of. Rest in peace to all that were lost.
The man on the second plane that said “.. and I’ll see you when you get here. Bye babe” has me balling my eyes out. He knew he was going to die and said “I’ll see ya when you get here” talking about the afterlife. He seemed so composed too. So tragic..

Very sad but I can never imagine calling my mom with my full name. Rest in peace. 😢
This point is spot on! What a patriot!

My heart sinks for Joseph Cooper (19:56 - 20:13 into the film). He's someone who clearly cares so much about his craft and has a passion for protecting the airways. It's clear in his eyes that after September 11th, he never looked at his job the same way again.
He was let down by the whole process; there was nothing he could do
His entire life changed after this day. You can see his heartbreak and feel his pain during the interview.
Yea, I cry watching him
But what made those Towers disintegrate into dust ? 🤔
It was all such a tragedy. Very strange time. Plus the 3rd Tower that was Pulled
As an american it means the world, stay safe my friend.
I had a similar experience except I was in nyc. Walked into my college and everyone was huddled in the lobby listening to the radio. That’s how I learned.
That was very beautifully written. Americans thank you 💙💜
everyone on the planet was affected. .

Hearing the voices- the final words of the people onboard the hijacked planes is heart braking. Hearing them say their final goodbyes brings tears to my eyes. Condolences to all those who lost some on that fateful day or day to that day.
Heart “braking”? When will you Americans learn to spell?
It's sad to watch these sort of films because you already know the ending but keep expecting people to avoid it

It’s incredible to hear exactly what everyone was doing this doing. I’m blessed to know your father was ok.
I would do the same. I would not take any chances getting on a plane after hearing about what happened. I’m glad that your family is okay! 🤍
Not like he had a choice either; planes were grounded for days afterwards
That's one smart dad you have.
My family is from Canada and my dad was held up for a few days in western Canada as we lived out east. His plane was on the runway and they were told they couldn't go.
Exactly 18 years ago today and still extremely hard to watch. Prayers to the victims and to the families who lost their loved ones.

This was our generations Titanic, made all the sadder because we have all these actual recordings of last calls and video of it actually happening.
poptart6662012 this is a million times worse than titanic. Titanic is a tragic accident that happened because of a natural disaster (as in a iceberg) this was a horrible catastrophe caused by humans.... I don’t think we can compare the 2. poptart6662012 sorry but you cannot compare the events of 9/11 to the Titanic!

I was 22. Watching live on TV with my father. Went to church that night to pray with other people. It is a before and after line in life.
it happened bc we as Americans try to force others into our way of life.our politics, our religions, our western way of life. when this happens we make it easy for extremists like Bin Laden to take advantage to frustrated young men women, & children amd turn them into devote followers. smething like 9/11 will happen over & over again bc we don't learn. and the worst thing is we give them the wepons to attack us with!
Gosh I was 17 and can vividly remember this day .
I was 23, and I completely relate.
I was 21 and a senior in college as well.
Me too.
I am from Finland and I never were there when it happened - but I am deeply traumatized since then and I also need to hear each persons story involved in this - I hope I would make one day trip to NYC and visit the actual memorial spot and comprehend that scale of it all in very front of my own eyes - peace and love
