EP 31 - Fixing the aeonium patch, and clearing the foot path around the arc
Another part of "the arc" series arc. In preparation for the arc, I am cleaning up parts of the footpath, particularly the bits by the larger aeoniums. They are creeping out into the path mainly because the main stem has fallen over since the offsets have grown too large to be supported.
I opted to just give them a crutch for now because they are dormant. A more ideal solution would be to replant them at a better angle, this way it will be able to properly support itself. But in order to do that, it needs to be able to establish its roots first, something that is easily done when they are actively growing.

When the branch bends, so grows the tree :) wish I had to make crutches for my plants chuck. Mine heal on their own. Today I checked my flap jack and apparently one of my kids must have broken it awhile back, it was calloused over and already rerooted. Hahaha

These are so underrated, but can't blame them. Aeoniums don't look as good in winter when they are all spread wide open haha!

Hi there. I don't use fertilisers, mainly because the soil I'm using is a bit rich anyway. If I was using mostly inorganic materials (like pebbles) then I'll consider using a balanced NPK fertiliser.

@@Cerriscapades Hi, I thought that your video was made in some hot sunny environment, which the Aeoniums are more like to do so well as yours. We live in the UK where the weather isn't so sunny and hot, only for few weeks in July and August. I love Aeoniums and in your garden it looks wonderful, well done to you. Happy gardening.

@@MarcelonCavalcanteESKL20 there's a plant species for every climate. Surely there must be some wonderful looking plants you could grow in England that people of say other countries would struggle with..

I have a quick question for anyone that may have an answer...one of my Panda plants/Kalanchoe has recently formed these long white stem/tennacles looking things on it...I've attempted to research what it's blooms look like but have only found it is very rare for it to bloom as a houseplant & usually only in the wild. Does anyone have any information on this
