So the wheel thing is called a wimhurst machine and its used to generate static electricity, if you crank it fast enough it will make some really crazy sparks. Fun find!
I wonder with all the music stuff and it seems he liked heavy metal music, if some of those wierd things like this piece created sparks or lightening bolts effects while a band was on stage.
The MEGGeR unit is for checking the electrical insulation of electric motors. The Megger you found is from the 1940's and is worth some $$. Electric Motor repair shops would like this item
Hello from Chiang Mai! I really like this locker, always incredible discoveries! Also, even if I really like it when you are alone with your monologues, it's nice when Janna comes to help you and even more for the next episode with Grace!
The guitar pedals, like the BOSS, should open up, and you can put a 9V battery and you dontnneed a separate power chord. Also easy way to test them...just put the battery in, hook a guitar up to the pedal, the pedal to the amp, and see if the sound changes when you push the pedal. The Boss and Line 6 ones will be worth the most. The Squier guitar is a cheap model...Squirer is the budget brand of Fender. Still very decent, and prob one of the best non-premium brands.
This locker has definitely been entertaining. The way everything is put in there makes you think they had to move in a hurry. Hope you're feeling better Jack...it's hard to tell in the video. It looks like those brass extensions connect to the top on each side of the wheel. Hiya Janna always nice to see you at a locker.
I believe that item is a Wilmshurst generator. It creates a static electric charge in Leyden jars. The handle with the ball is one of two which go on the machine. After cranking up a charge the balls are brought into proximity and an electric arc will jump between them.
You can wear your Levi shorts and the Blessed and Highly Favored shirt to church. People in my church say Blessed and Highly Favored when someone asks them how they are doing.
that rotating "first" for you is calld a "wagon wheel" we use them for optical effects. You can shine a light on it and it creates like a moving "gobo" - which is an effect (shadows). More popular in film then live stage shows. we don't really use them anymore, becaus ewe have mobing lights with gobos (patterns) that can rotate in any direction at any speed. But that is a very cool find.
You do have all the things needed to test the floor pedals for guitars. You have the patch cords and the Amp. And the purple mixer if needed. 11:3211:32 😃
The copper fan could be a very small copper generator. Put a piece of long copper into the air and it picks up electrical currents from the air. Pretty cool.
Hey those S.F shoes! I think you underestimated them alot!!! I wanted to buy a belt from there and it was £800!!! I wish you had put the estimated pricing for those shoes and all the music stuff. Have you ever used google image search? Could be very helpful. As ebay is very hit and miss. The clothing should be sold on a second hand clothing app like vinted. Alot of unique pieces there. I've watched hundreds of different locker videos on YT and enjoy yours the most 😅
Jack I get the feeling that this guy prowled around at night and took things from unlocked vehicles. Crimes of opportunity. A lot of items in work bags, things left in the back of work trucks. Too many flashlights for one person. He definitely helped himself to things in unlocked vehicles. What’s your take? What happened to this person?
Yeah, I've been getting the most icky feeling about this guy all around. I just wonder what types of crimes he was involved in--and I'm not thinking about petty stuff.
@@knutblume907So much that he had to rent a storage locker to hide it all. He obviously led a life of lies and was constantly covering up them. So curious as to what happened to him. He had access to stage equipment somehow too. Jack please tell us on your next video?
Correct on GMC. On my third one. First two I loved. The third is junk. Plus the service department where I got it from are morons. Will never get a GMC again.
From watching a lot of these Locker Nuts videos, it seems like a common trend between finding drugs/drug paraphernalia and finding single shoes. Weird locker for sure.
Also all the electrical tubes and scientific stuff would be set dressing for a stage set MAD SCIENTIST type thing. A band would have this think stage band lighting lasers he would need torches to work late setting up tearing down. Also microphones probably also a band member google his name with bands.
Super crusty Carhartt that look well worked in are actually exactly the condition people want for fashion. They sell for a premium over standard Carhartt items
I will say out of ALL the UA-camr storage locker people I’ve watched you actually show us what is in the locker which makes a better video. Some fly through stuff and it is very aggravating. Why even make a videos of what you find if your audience can’t see anything?
I looked up Cambridge and they sell ion gas lasers. It says for Science, Industry and Displays. I hope you find the back story on this unit. Hard not to get a visual image of a Science Nerd disguised as a Rocking Roadie.

The strange machine is a Wimshurst machine. It was used in the 19th century in physics research. It's a electrostatic generator for generating high voltages. It was developed between 1880 and 1883 by British inventor James Wimshurst.
I might see if you pull out a nice guitar himself That wooden box with a crank handle will shock you it's illegal for people used to take them back to fishing days start the water in the fish come to the top but I would not use it for that

@@jeffreyszyarto thanks for the identification on it! I’ve never come across one before
Yes I found the same one on Google Lens and some of those other brass pieces go with it.😊
@jeffreyszyarto that would be cool to see.
I wonder with all the music stuff and it seems he liked heavy metal music, if some of those wierd things like this piece created sparks or lightening bolts effects while a band was on stage.
@@LockerNuts we had a static generator exactly the same as that one in our physics classes at school back in the 80's
You should consider getting a 2nd washing machine at home for the stuff that needs washing.

16:01 That is a static generator that was used in classrooms in the 1920's and later. They have been repopped though. But they are not cheap.

The electric device in a wooden box might be a detonator
Brasil with an "s" is how it is spelled in Portuguese, the language of Brazil. Indicates to me that it was made in Brazil for the domestic market.
Love ya, Jan! Jack, I was wondering if you still took stuff for metal scrapping. This locker just keeps on giving.
This was fun and exciting. Cant wait for the ending video.
There's a unit in Hamden CT that's up to almost $18,000 right now. Some musicians locker.
