I stumbled across this video while YouTubung and must say that I was blown away by the quality. Videography, content, audio quality and the story you tell are all fabulous. The segue videos of birds and the night sky are unexpected bonuses. Not just a travelogue, there's some subtle education on how to rig and fish for carp in there as well. To many this will be a "nice" video, but the production is wayyy beyond nice, it's right at the level of the very best commercial productions. If UA-cam gave out Emmys this video should win one, maybe several.
What an epic! Seriously, if I would have watched this through Netflix or Amazon, I would assume it was a big budget documentary produced by them. I only discovered your channel earlier this year, but the progress in the production values is enormous compared to the early days. Well done and Happy New Year to you all!

Late to the party this time but honestly you guys have outdone yourself again. I can’t believe this content is free. Fantastic location and a great bunch of guys. This is honest something that should be on a streaming service or a tv channel. Well worth the wait, from trying to bits of my own content I can’t imagine how much work you put in from actually filming the content to processing it, storing it and editing it. A true natural at presenting too, makes me miss your older videos that got removed as it’s amazing to see how far you’ve come.

What a treat! Most of the television fishing shows I see in the U S consist of the edited times when someone has fish on and the dialogue consists of “ nice fish”. You have a unique ability to highlight the total experience - the friendship, banter, scenery, landscape, sunsets, storms, food around a campfire, and also the heat and bugs. This goes with a good soundtrack and excellent photography. So we’ll done!

This makes me so happy. I have lived in Idaho my whole life (42 years). I was raised in Northern Idaho, and moved to the Boise valley 18 years ago. I have never done any fishing in the region you were in. CJ strike is a place I will be heading to this spring. I do get out fishing quite often, mostly at local ponds and in the Boise River and Snake River further north than you were. This was so fun seeing all the great footage of my home state. Very well done and you are more than welcome to come explore more anytime. One of my favorite spots is a pond right next to the Snake River. The pond holds very nice sized carp and is stocked with rainbow trout. Then you can walk 200 feet to the River and catch literally anything.
I've been waiting all these years to see all you lads on the bank again. The wild venues, the people, the fish and the banter you all have amongst yourselves makes for a great watch. If only we got to see one of the big sturgeon landed, but atleast you made up for it with a photo of your 5 mirrors to match the original 5 commons photo. Thank you for another great video lads, onto the next adventure!

Just finished watching and wanted to say this is the best fishing video I've ever seen. Great friends, great waters, great weather and great fish. I'll be sixty soon and I've seen Chris Yates, John Wilson et al all putting shows out. But this vid was not fishing some commercial where you're guaranteed to catch or a secret pond, but unexplored waters. I would have loved to see those lost Sturgeon landed. Perhaps that would be a video for the future. You boys again, hunting those big fish with seafishing tackle.

Just finished watching and wanted to say this is the best fishing video I've ever seen.
Great friends, great waters, great weather and great fish.
I'll be sixty soon and I've seen Chris Yates, John Wilson et al all putting shows out. But this vid was not fishing some commercial where you're guaranteed to catch or a secret pond, but unexplored waters.
I would have loved to see those lost Sturgeon landed.
Perhaps that would be a video for the future.
