Saw them on tour during the American Idiot tour in 2005. Was an amazing show. They demand a lot of audience participation, from singing along, to fans coming up and playing instruments etc. Great time.
That's cool you got to see them live. 😊 Our show was really good too, lots of energy. They did bring someone on stage to sing part of Know Your Enemy (which I had totally forgotten about that song! Another great one) and she sang so calm and then really screamed for the 'give me give me revolution' part. It was great. 😅
They had this level of energy up until September 2012. Since then, they have slowed down quite noticeably (rehab), but they still put on excellent shows.
Greenday have an ability to write and create music that remains relevant through generations so you won't be anything less than gifted inspiration by becoming a greenday fan. It's for everyone. And it's great music full of emotion and joy to enjoy 😉
This video is from the Bullet in a Bible live album/dvd. It was filmed over 2 days at the National Bowl, Milton Keynes, UK. I was at the Saturday of this weekend series and it was pretty crazy. Intense mosh pits, people being crushed and some people even passing out. I was about 17 and a good friend of mine still talks about that day about bwing a defining moment of his life. GOOD TIMES
I saw them this year in the netherlands and even though i was in the seats, it was still so fun. Theyre amazing performers and really know how to put up a show
That's awesome you got to see them live. ☺️ We were in the seats too and yeah, they definitely brought the energy and fans were into it! Definitely didn't feel as long it actually was which is a sign of good music. 😂
I’ve been a diehard Green Day fan since 1992. I’ve seen them SO many times over the years. Billie, Mike and Tre are the older brothers I never had lol you can’t go wrong with a Green Day concert. Worth every penny.
@@nikkireviews I’ve been a fan of them since I was a little kid, and they have only gotten better with time. They are one of the few bands i can think of where you could pick out any one of their albums and listen start to finish, and every song is great. Especially Dookie, Insomniac, American Idiot, and 21st Century Breakdown.
Just listening to the first bit it sounds like Bullet in a Bible album. I was obsessed with this album as a kid. Green Day always has a spot spot for me. I was born near Liverpool in 1993. The Beatles, Oasis, The Verve, Suede, Stereophonis, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, etc. are what I grew up listening to. But this Green day album is my favourite live album of all time
I had to look that up, the Bullet in a Bible - but yeah, it looks like it's the same thing! Apparently that's a full DVD, I think? 🤔 That's awesome that this Green Day album is your favorite live album. And of all time?? 😱
Hi Nikki! Great that you will see the band live. I haven't had the opportunity to see them yet. They're great though! Appreciate your sincere approach!
you said something about Billie hearing an accent when he sings, I think it could be that Green Day play a punk/rock fusion type of music and he's influenced by rebellious British punk bands such as the Sex Pistols, it's not only in how he sings but in his mannerisms as well
Seen live in Brisbane in 2009, 2013, 2017, and gold coast in 2025 😊 Fun fact I was at the show that the live performance of She was recorded at in 2009 for the "Awesome as Fuck" live album
I've always loved some Green Day.Great pick as usual IMO,😂Nikki. You also might want to add the latest drop from LILIAC Breathe.I do miss Abby not being behind the kit but she is away having a baby, still a great video. Have a great time at the show and you will have to let us know how it was .
Hi Nikki! Great video with a great band! I thought I'd comment that maybe you would be interested in checking out the band named HIM. They were a finnish band, pretty famous in the 2000s.
bang bang, revolution radio, let yourself go, oh yeah, the American dream is killing me, know your enemy, holiday, oh love, kill the dj, nuclear family, stay the night, carpe diem, loss of control, last of the American girls, longview, welcome to paradise, brain stew/jaded
The Bohemian Rhapsody of punk

this song is probably my favorite from them
Mine too! From what I know. 😅

Yeah, I saw them live just recently in Central Park in NYC. They were absolutely phenomenal as always!
That's awesome you got to see them. Our show was great too, lots of energy. I left wanting to know and listen to more by them. 😁

I saw them at this gig, Milton Keynes, UK in 2005. Absolutely amazing.
And yes I saw them live with my daughter. Now she's learning to play drums 😁 inspired ✨️ 🙌
Saw them live in Vienna, Austria June 19, 2022. One of the most memorable moments of my life.

This is 100% the Bullet in a Bible one from the DVD. Show was recorded over 2 nights at Milton Keynes Bowl in London.
Hi Nikki! Great that you will see the band live. I haven't had the opportunity to see them yet. They're great though! Appreciate your sincere approach!
Thank you. 😊 Our show was really good. For how long it was, I wasn't bored at all. And I left wanting to listen to more of them. 😁🎵

That makes sense! I do notice that in a lot of punk type bands.
4:30 Let yourself go, Horseshoes and Hand grenades, Bobby Sox, Living in the 20's. And this one, of course xd
I'll be sure to check them out. Thanks!
This show was from June 2005 in England

Yeah I will have to check them out soon. I know they were in the poll before but I don't think I ever listened to them yet. 🤔
I think Bullet in the Bible is the greatest live performance video I've ever seen.
🇵🇭
I'm a huge fan of their Dookie album so I'm of course a fan of songs like "Basket Case" "When I Come Around" "Longview" and "Welcome to Paradise"
I think out of those, Longview might be the only one I'm unfamiliar with. 🤔
@@nikkireviews Do I sense a possible reaction? :) That's an amazing song.
Yea I’ve seen them twice, recently at Citi field for their Saviors tour. Billie’s voice is the same as it was back then!!!! Best front man ever!!!

Tré Cool: The best punk drummer of all time!
His “accent” is the punk accent 😂

Can you react to Song1 by Dreams Don't Sleep?
