#ExtremelyRareDPRKvideos #KCTV #1986 #koreancentraltelevision Rare footage of KCTV from a 1986 French documentary. It was taken down from UA-cam. But I managed to archive it.
I think the french narator is the same one who broad cast the VOK in 2010s. Same person for nearly 20 years and maybe counting because i no longer listen to the radio anymore.
2:30 when you turn on auto translate, it says that during their stay, they knew nothing about world events. So KCTV at that time didn’t present international news.
LOL! The irony!! They did. You can literally see in this video at 1:26 KCTV reporting on some marathon between Australia and East Germany! And just before that some accident in a foreign country. I love how lying so blatantly about DPRK has always been a western media tradition. The propaganda that "they know nothing about world events" is still there today but that doesn't means it's true.
@@ExtremelyRareDPRKvideos how would you imagine the KCTV closedown process around 1982? No I’m not talking about how it looked like, but just a imagination.
No they do have international news, before they did more because north korea wasnt that poor in the 50- 80's world but they alway talk about bad news like today they talk about Palestine
historical footage!
It seems like soccer commentary voice before 1998.

I doubt it
The French voice talks about cult of personality
RTS is a Swiss tv channel.
Even the slightest possibility that there is another recording from those KCTV years?
2:02 I don't know any korean, but i think this footage was recorded earlier than 1986
