We could careless about the blur!!! Remove the video and protect your tour guides life!?!? You have multiple comments speaking on this and yet you ignore them and reply to somethin this minuscule!?!? Them rules you had to follow may have changed for you when you left that country but your tour guides didn’t have that luxury and you could have just possibly got them and their entire family killed!!!

You've done the same old thing as Westerner tourists do Going to a foreign land, while comparing it to how wonderful it is back home. As someone, who has lived and taught in Pyongyang, you have no idea: you're following the same old click-bait. Do a proper Google search and you'll find that all the North Koreans myth you've just regurgitated have already been debunked by North Korean Experts and South Korean Intelligence.

The tour guides there are so heavily spied on, the reason there’s 2 is for each to report on the other. I’m going to assume they’re told to say that so as to have the tourists go back home, tell all their friends and families to visit so as to bring more money in for tourism as the country desperately needs money.

If you see at about 11:40 when the kids are all looking at you everyone’s walking past and makes sure to not even glance at you and the one guy pushes the kids head so he’s not looking at you. It’s like they’re all scared to interact with you and I’m sure it’s for a good reason. Even the people in the “wealthiest” city in the whole country look poor and sad/angry. North koreas a perfect example and warning of what happens so communist/socialist countries (although most of them are there’s not really a successful one) the land was collectivized as well as industry later on and the people were made to work the land but after the government took its share of the food there wasn’t any left for the civilians and a million people starved. Buying anything not sold by the government (food clothes necessities etc) is illegal which created the black market of smuggled Chinese goods down there. And a large part why it’s gdp was almost as good as south koreas in the early 70s was due to massive help by the Soviet Union and china. It was never a good self sustaining model. These kinds of ideals practically always end up in tyranny and the deaths of millions. People act like capitalism is some bad thing when it’s created the most prosperous free societies to ever exist. The alternatives are evil.

Gorgeous Samoyed!! Many years ago I had a Samoyed from 6 weeks old and he lived to be 12. I've had several different dog breeds in my life as well as a number of cats; my Samoyed (named "Sampson") was the most easy going of all. I acquired him in my home state of Florida and he did well there, even with all the fur. I lived a year in a Northern state that had a LOT of snow that winter. I thought he'd enjoy the snow but when we walked him to do his business, he got it done quickly and wanted to go back inside immediately, where he literally threw himself on the floor and began licking his paws. His pads must have gotten very cold.

Oh look, a country where people don't live the same way we do, so everything is weird, and everyone is unhappy.

This video proved three things: 1- People that don't work travel more than people that do ( no McDonald's employee could afford to travel to N Korea), 2- North Koreans are more hardworking than most people in the West, and 3- North Korea should be more careful about who they allow to enter their country.

Nuclear threats, having S. Korea as their neighbor (the "S" stands for "slave" with how bad work conditions are) and moronic videos like this one. I think this covers the introduction to the to the basics to the elementary course of why westoids havent a clue as to what the DPRK is and what its a product of. Did i mention RFA? Aight, cheers! Out of respect for Otto Warmbier I would Never go to North Korea. They either choked him, water boarded or drowned him to be revived in full terror with only a small part of his faculties left when we (my govt) finally got him home.
His teeth appeared to have been twisted with pliers. He was so hysterical he had to be constantly medicated. He was blind, again brain damaged and bedridden. And haunted by the tortures many professionals believe he endured. He could only cry out in blood curdling grunts/screams by the time we got him back.
He died a day or a few days after finally arriving on U.S. soil and hearing his parents and feeling their touch.
It’s nice that you think North Koreans will see Westerners and want a different life.
From what little I know, the minority brave enough to seriously want to leave N. Korea are already in touch with volunteers trying to help them escape.
To be able to leave without their elderly parents, siblings, etc. being killed or sent to work camps as punishment for their escape is what keeps a lot of people there.
Also, many are too frightened or too brainwashed to risk their lives, their elderly parents lives and any other family who cannot leave because of age or non-opportunity.
They are thought to be in contact with a rescue team. Not sure if it’s a volunteer team but it’s likely a private group. I’m guessing S. Korea but I don’t know for sure.
These N. Koreans are severely risking their lives by providing info about day-to-day life (mostly the starvation they face and finding neighbors who have perished from starvation).
Since Covid the borders are closed, preventing rice and other food and medicine to be smuggled in from China.
I admire your concern and curiosity - but please be careful going there. They likely had video and audio in your room. You are not safe there, in my opinion. I could be wrong.
Keep that adventurous spirit and kindness of heart.
    Thanks for the good video.
I’m very happy you got some safely 🙏❤️

Oh come on. That's not true.
The US doctor who brought him back said there was no sign of torture.
He also said the DPRK doctors were taking good care of him and they were collaborative.
Most likely the guards accidentally overdosed him with sedatives.
You don't want a dead foreign prisoner or a diplomatic incident over a drunk tourist.
You want a well treated prisoner to exchange.
Also, it's not nice to think they'll want a different life after seeing westerners.
      It's just arrogant.
They have their own culture, and we westerners should learn to respect them without trying to westernize everyone with a different culture.
We should leave this colonialist mindset behind.
If we really wanted to better their lives, making them richer and less starved, we should lift sanctions.
At least on food, energy and travel visas.
Our governments should have friendly diplomatic relationships, so we could allow their citizens to work in the west in exchange for food, oil and stuff.
If we just shut them off they'll keep starving of course.

It's really interesting the way you explained the NK situation. And it made me think about the way we see the world. Coming from Brazil and knowing other developing countries I only could see kids in school, well dressed and learning lots of things. Yes, it's terrible they don't have light power during the whole day, or they can't buy cars... but if you go up a Favela, the kids there have no hope of getting a good education or good clothes. and most of them have to go to the light signals during the school time bag for money so they and their families can eat. In Brazil, most of the people won't buy a car, Because they can't afford one.
So, yes... it's terrible NK people have to deal with a dictatorship regime... nobody should be submitted to one. But poverty by itself its a dictator.

I also don't think NK is as worst as what all the western media describes. apart from what you said about poverty, NK also seems quite peaceful compare to a lot of other countries (unless war starts between NK and SK) specially in middle-east like Afgan, Libya, Yemen, I never heard them having terrorist attack or public shooting, I think even the crime rate would be too low because of their strict laws. there's also a lot of worst countries in terms of poverty mostly in African countries like Sierra Leone, Congo.
Yes they have a military running the country, they have strict laws which you dont like if you are from western countries where you have so much freedom, and they are not as rich as the west. But they far fromn being the worst country in the world. and the idea that they open the country for tourism could be a good sign for progress, they might soon open their border for foreign businesses or who knows when the regime will change.
