Hang in there, soldier. Our troubles are God's way of training us so that we can grow to become the person He created us to be, beyond the person we might have imagined ourselves being. His plan is to glorify humanity, His image in the world, and that includes you, Danielle. But the way to that glorification is always through the cross, always through the suffering. There's just no getting around that. Accept the cross, accept the troubles, find the stillness in your heart in the midst of it all, and shine bright, showing others the way through the darkness, as He showed us the Way. Can you love your enemies? Can you forgive those who sin against you? Can you say "no" to temptation? Can you be love, incarnated in the world?
