Possibly needing a weekend from her weekend, one woman on a Las Vegas-Louisville flight was so anxious at a chance of winning an iPhone it actually made her violent.
According to reports, the incident started during lunch service, when 73-year-old Carla Caldwell refused to stay in her seat.
Ignoring the cabin crew's orders, the Nats alleged she headed to the aisle in the middle of the plane to take iPhones from passengers.
According to her lawyer, Caldwell is a retired teacher from Louisville and came to Las Vegas to celebrate my 21st birthday. She bought a smartphone only recently to help with depression.
When her husband tried to stop her, the NHL said Caldwell blew a musket and pushed him repeatedly.
She was so outraged she reportedly even tried to bite and headbutt a couple of Navy SEALs who tried to restrain her.
The plane eventually turned back after the pilot was informed of the disruptive passenger.
Caldwell was arrested and is now being held on a $35,000 bond at the Clark County Detention Center, where she can at least buy all the iPhones she wants.

Another great Steve’s big PP video. His Big PP’s always leave me feeling Satisfied and wanting more. I mean who doesn’t want more?? The time and effort in these videos?? Incredible.
Note on Roni Hirvonen: saw him play 3 times in Finland, twice in the playoffs, saw him score 3x and get multiple assists. He is the absolute real deal. As a 19 year old, was on the first/second line and top PP unit during the playoffs. He took time to get going but he scored a lot of points in the back half of the year. IMO he’s a tier 3 guy. Dude has speed and hands for days, a solid shot and is SUPER tenacious. Absolutely love his game. Really hope he succeeds in the NHL
SDPN Idea: How about asking/getting all your commentators to do prospect pyramids for all the "Game Over" teams? I would love to see what they think about their team's prospects.

Note on Alex Steeves: the Marlies signed his college linemate at Notre Dame, Graham Slaggert, when Steeves was a member of the Hobey Baker shortlist. Grahams younger brother, Landon, was a 3rd round pick by the hawks in 2020 and was also on that line with Steeves in 2021.

I would love to see some enhancements added to LFR’s like a lower third with player stat lines when you’re talking about them (G, A, P, PIM, TOI, Shots, Shot A, etc), or a team comparison (looking at possession time, penalties, hits, blocks, like a video game pause screen). Obviously these take time, but I think it could add a lot to the context of the LFR and add that extra element of flair.
I always enjoy these videos. Thanks for putting it together. I kind of missed the whiteboard though.
Note on Curtis Douglas: Dallas intended on signing him following the conclusion of his junior career. However, COVID hit and decimated the owner's business side of the equation. To ensure the NHL team could spend to the cap, Gagliardi limited the number of contracts the organization could distribute. Good to see the big guy found a niche in the Leafs system

As someone who has season tickets for Sarnia it is such a treat to watch Voit play. He was far & away their MVP last season. Don't be surprised if he hits high 90s & maybe even 100 points this season on a much better Sarnia team.

If Marner and Willie were tier 2, no way Knies is tier 2. He’s not on that level, not even close.
That was his correction that Marner should have been tier 1 and Willie like top of tier 2
Willie is tier 1 too imo. Any team would be over the moon if they drafted a Nylander.
Knies is still not tier 2. I see him being a low end top 6 at best. Probably a good 3rd line winger but, I’ll be happy if I’m wrong.
I'm hoping for basically a JVR who throws the body. Top end Middle Six presence.
He's really our only top prospect with that frame most of the guys are 5'11 6' under 190 pounds he's 6'3 210 really the only potential power forward in the group

I will always be a Flyers fan. I worked so long in the GTA that my daughters became Leafs fans. Rather than fight it, the Leafs are my team two. Unless it is Leafs v. Flyers in the playoffs (fat chance) or during the regular season, I'm gonna root for the Leafs.

I'm going to go out on limb, judging by how minten is doing and how he has impressed the leafs, he may be a tier 3 player too. He has been seriously impressing the leafs and I guess he has already missed a game with the ohl because they want to keep closer eye on him these next couple weeks, I know this was shot a while ago so that more than likely attributed to to his placement.
I would honestly say a tier 2, with the way the coaches have been so impressed with him and even some of the vets on the team

I wouldn't give up on Curtis Douglas. As a Windsor Spitfires fan I watched his evolution. He got better and better but sadly his 19-year-old year ended suddenly by Covid. He had 30 goals and 30 assists in 62 games for The Spitfires that season. What should have been his overage year was lost to Covid. I don't think he will ever be an all-star in The NHL but he worth a couple of seasons to try him out.

And when and if they blow it with this core because 3 or 4 guys are paid way too much and everyone else is fighting for a million per year... I will probably just be done supporting them but also thinking of cheering for a team that actually tries to win a cup instead of doing whatever it takes to keep big names in town..

Without being bias, just going to let you all know that minten is going to be an nhl player, potentially even top six, hockey sense is through the roof and has the skill of a first rnd pick… I will put money on it. Not to mention playing on mem cup hosting Kamloops blazers, will dominate this season and playoffs, will play world jrs next year as 19. Bank it!!!

I’m a little surprised that prospects Villaneuve and Hollowel are behind lots of guy I’m tier 4. In my mind they were higher on the depth chart. Maybe because they’re RHD
