You should be just fine on this one, they do a good job of grouping the different Jeeps on appropriate trails. Have fun on your trip and thanks for watching the video!
So sad Clear cuts aka Select cuts Seed trees I still would like to make the badge on the way to Alaska in a few months Looks like what we look for every time we go out. thank you so much for sharing.
Yeah it definitely changed the way it looks up there, it’s still a fun trail and definitely worth doing on your way through Oregon. Thanks for watching!
It’s a pretty easy trail, it used to be pretty tight but after the logging it’s really opened up. I’d say you should be good, just don’t go alone and wait until the snow melts. Thanks for watching!
Yeah it depends on what model you have, as long as you stay off the black diamonds you should be fine. I would make sure to take a friend in case you do get stuck. Thanks for watching the video!
Are there many good trails in Oregon? I might move from AZ and there are trails everywhere. Im worried I wouldn’t have much to do. I’d be living in Eugene.
There actually is quite a bit of trails in the area, it will be different that what your used to but they are fun. This video was at Brown’s Camp in Tillamook State Forest which has a pretty big OHV area. We also have Yacolt in the Vancouver area as well as LaDee OHV and some trails by Mt Hood. If you go up to the Seattle area there is a bunch as well. Trailsoffroad is a great resource for finding trails in different areas, let me know if you have any more questions and thanks for watching the video Chris!
planning on running this trail soon. will be traveling from Seal Rock, OR to do the trail. how long is the trail? i would like to do this trail and firebreak in the same day and get back to Seal Rock the same day...
I’m guessing it would take about 2-3 hours each so a decent day on the trail. Tillamook State Forest is currently closed for off-roading due to fire danger. I believe they will open up in September but I would check online first also you will need an OHV pass on your vehicle. I hope this helps, thanks for watching!
How serious is this trail. I’m up in Washington and I’ve got a 2006 Jeep Wrangler unlimited rubicon. It’s got a basic 2 inch lift and lockers. I’m just wondering if it’ll make it as is or if I’d have to wait and lift it more?
@@FROSTBITEOFFROAD just 31s. I’m not the most experienced but Ik what I’m doing for the most part. It’s handled Elbe ORV park in Washington if you’ve heard of it? I was gonna see if I could squeeze 33s under my Jeep because I have flat fenders but I don’t think I’ll work.
@@tristansundquist1834 I've heard of Elbe, I have never been before. I'm sure you could fit 33's, I had 35's on my TJ with a 4" lift. To be honest you'll be fine on Cedar Tree with your setup, I probably wouldn't do the middle section of Firebreak 5 though.
@@tristansundquist1834 yeah they do and it gets pretty rutted out when it’s wet. I hope we have a light fire season and can start using the trails again soon!
Another great video! Heading up to Oregon in May for the summer and hope to hit this trail for sure! Thanks
It’s definitely a fun one to try while you’re there, thanks for watching again George!
Great video, and great camera work too!
Thanks for making this!!!
Thanks for watching the video, it’s definitely a fun trail!
Great video and commentary! I'm looking to do the Jamboree this June with my stock '22 Rubicon JLU. Looks like it'll be good.

What a great ride along video, well done 👍
Thanks, it was a fun trip. Can’t wait to get back out there!

I've completed cedar tree a few times. It's one of my favorite trails.
Yeah it’s definitely a fun one, thanks for watching!
Doing this one and Firebreak 5 in a couple of weeks
It’s a really fun trail system you’ll have a great time, thanks for watching the video!
Thinking about taking my yj.
It’s a really nice trail, more fun than challenging. Your YJ will do fine, enjoy the trip!
we are taking Our XJ and TJ
I have an obs Ford swb on 31s. Think I'd be okay up there? I have a winch but the truck currently has open diffs

@@FROSTBITEOFFROAD thanks for the pointers.
Would most of the trails be okay to run in a stock jeep wrangler?

That LJ should be more than capable to do Cedar Tree, I have seen several stockish rigs run that trail without an issue. What size are your tires?

how long does it take to complete the trail?
It depends on your rig and group but I would plan for a half-day at least.
Great video, maybe say ‘alright guys’ a little less ;)
Thanks for watching 🍻
Hey dude are you on Instagram?
Yeah it’s Frostbite_JL , thanks for watching!
Quite shocking to see the area around the famous cedar tree so barren. Nothing like what I remember. Nice vid!.. liked and subscribed.
@@gkatnh2915 yeah it was definitely weird to not see any trees, thanks for the support!
Is this open when it rains?
Yes, it rains a lot around here. It would be a bummer if it closed for rain, we do these trails in the snow! Thanks for watching the video!
