I had the same issue with the mag not wanting to go in with psa 101 mags until i just taking it out and putting it back in like 50 times in a day and then it was fine.
So the reason your bolt would stick back is the AC Unity mags have a BHO follower. It’s by design and the reason they don’t continue to hold the bolt back as you use them is the bolt will wear on the follower causing it to ride past it
Sorry I don’t think that’s correct. These are brand new mags and if that was the case why didn’t they lock back when the mag was empty after me shooting.
The problem with 5.56 AKs is that they are all proprietary. The Czech mags may not work in a Bulgarian rifle, or any of the dozen others out there. I'll never buy one. US made 5.45 AK-74 mags often have the back of the feed lips squared off like 7.62X39 mags. But the back of the feed lips on Com-Bloc 5.45 mags are shaved off at an angle. I would presume so you can't insert a 7.62X39 mag into a 5.45 rifle. Might also be a problem with 5.56 rifles, if they copied the 5.45 mag profile.
Bro this is par for the course with AKs. File the mags a little bit if they are tight. If they are particularly loose it's not going to effect function. I got an old Chinese 223 AK. The high cap steel mags for it fetched top dollar so I made the decision to unload them for lighter polymer circle 10 Bulgarian mags. Of course I had to file them a bit because they were tight. No big deal they fit beautifully now. And circle 10s are the Cadillac of AK mags there's nothing wrong with them.

Ehh, my m90 loves ac unity an east German bake plus the new bulgy and it runs on OG galil mags lol. Each gun is different
