手技TEWAZA「山鹿灯籠」YAMAGA-TORO（GARDEN LANTERN）／伝統工芸 青山スクエア Japan traditional crafts Aoyama Square

発祥は諸説ありますが、確実に遡れるのは17世紀中ごろとされています。
和紙と糊だけで立体構造に組み上げる工芸品で、従来からの奉納品をはじめ、置物、土産品、インテリア等にも利用されています。
Although many theories about the origin of Yamaga lanterns have been proposed, the craft is known to date back to at least the mid-17th century.
These three-dimensional pieces are produced using only washi paper and glue. Originally made as votive offerings, Yamaga lanterns are now also used as souvenirs, ornaments and interior design decorations.
