Wheeler & Wilson #1 Sewing Machine from Downunder

Wheeler & Wilson #1 ( Silver Plate Arms) believed to be 1865. #188061
This is our first attempt at getting this delightful machine running.
I can not guarantee the decals will be bright and shiny again, we like to show the machines journey.
We needed to make a drive belt for it so we used kangaroo leather , the rest is as you see it.
We welcome any information or advice as we are not experienced in this specific machine.
But so delighted it came our way. So please to show you our progression.
Now it is working we will work on repairing the cabinet and getting it looking loved and in a more suitable location.
There is a pecking order in our place for our collection and this may rise up it a little quicker than most.
