Another awesome video- I love how you peppered with the ad(s). Some of those were a hoot! 😅 Your content is stellar, Gavin. You’re a great teacher. It seems like you tend to think outside the box. Nonetheless, I always come away having learned something rich. There’s so much here that I’ve saved it to watch however many times I prefer.
Thank you so much! It was a fun exercise to go through, and a chance to read some authors I'd not heard of before.
Gavin, incredible to think that this issue is 100 years old! Great overview of the whole issue, and the ads! Oh my goodness! What a riot! Great job, Gavin.
Thanks Pat, it was fun, albeit with a twinge of sadness than many of the writers just fade away after their "15 Minutes". And how anyone thought Houdini was fooling anyone in having Lovecraft write for him I've no idea...
@@GenreBooks23 These old pulp issues are just fascinating. Great stuff!
Very nice video thank you I always watch your video I am subscribed to your youtube channel
Many thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Ok mam thank you very much I can learn a lot by watching your video I will share your video to everyone
Great history Gavin.
Thanks! The old stuff is fun (and free)...
1922 was the year Tut-mania began!
Now, if I'd known
They'd line up just to see him,
I'd taken all my money
And bought me a museum.
Haha. To think that it’s still popular enough 18 months later to still make the cover of a magazine. Pretty impressive, for a tomb - although the “curse” may have helped.
