In my opinion, this band is one of the best there has ever been. Every album is full of fantastic stuff that sounds totally different than anyone else.
had the pleasure of seeing and playing a festival with kk in vienna way back super way back. It was just him and his guitar and it was earth rumbling. Magnog is eternally grateful.
i know this is 3 years old but if you do see it, where did you guys play? what venue? i lived in vienna at the very end of the 90s and 4 years into the 2000s (6 years all in all)
Found em!!! But... now Zeni Geva has broke up... I think in a way probably best rather than be a 2 piece without Tabata.. but still, I am sad I only saw them twice in my life... I could have seem then hundreds.. I might need to do a cover band one day or something.
D A M N when Steve Albini called NIrvana "REM with a fuzz box" you gotta remember Albini worked with bands like Zeni Geva and Jesus Lizard. Nirvana's pretty tame compared to this
Actually this song was out before the Alternative Tentacles cd in ' 93.The song was on my Zeni Geva live in Amerika 1992 cd.I was listening to it recently and decided to check if ZG was on YT and sure enough there them boys were!I saw them in in '93 in Atlanta @the Reptile Lounge, and bought the cd there @ show.Great performance. When I want to piss people off I play this really loud!!!KKNull, fuck yes."Bring the Noise" as Chuck D would say!"Godflesh" was a staple on WREK radio in Atlanta then.
The guys to visit so. cal. round about 1992. They played in our rehearsal space on borrowed insruments for about 40 or so people. I remember plesasent ear ringing. Nice to see this...
Yeah, saw them last week at the Earthdom in Okubo on Sept. 14th 2012...whewwwwwwwww Loud for the small dark underground club. Shit, my video sound was way beyond heaven...and peaks...a fun night! I think there were 50% gaijin there....
@crossofthesphinx Hi, yes, the audio from the actual gig was distorted and unusable so I used the audio from the "Alive and Rising" release. As Yoshida does not hit the same drums at the same point in the performance (which is what is amazing about him as a drummer) there isn't a perfect synchronisity between the two performances. Please see the clip description for further details.

Awesome band, tragically overlooked by many. Great work on the video.
best music of all time, to me. I still haven't found copies of Skullfuck Live or Live on Suicide yet, but I keep hoping..

Come to Boston, USA!
COOL.
Yoshida again wow.
Why is Zeni Geva not the biggest band on Earth?

ZG shows usually so loud and hard to record undistorted, unless desk recording hehe xD
holy fuxk
They really were that good. Saw them at a little club in Portland Oregon. Still obsessed 20 years later
