I didn't include it in the video as I think you shouldn't do it on your first playthrough, but for returning players here's all the items asked in the starting missions: imgur.com/a/n8L8gFG Helps getting to mid-game faster when you know exactly what to keep!
I haven't seen anyone mention this, but the black dash in the top left of a weapon portrait means it sells for a lot more to vendors than a normal one. At 4:19 the small smg/pistol in your inventory has a dash, for reference.
@@TheQweerdeer00 spare Igor in the early stages of your game, whenever you feel comfortable that you don't need his free loot then you kill him for the army quest (at least that's what I would do)
While your out raiding, keep an eye on the ground when your travelling, if you see what appears to be sticks and brown hole on the ground, its a hidden stash that will give you random items, food, materials, meds, and other stuff if you go over to it.
One important tip I would add: Trader UI has tabs on the right! And bunker Bartender actually sells shitload of other items than just serve food and drinks, with bags (increase weight limit) being the most important early. Took me a while t figure this out. Maybe it is part of tutorial, but I am "hours of meaningless work can save you 1 minute of reading documentation" type of guy. :P
A thing to note is that weapon scrap is fixed for a weapon. Adding more attachments dont increase the amount of scrap you get. So preferably, you should strip the attachments from a gun if you want to scrap it.
Super important: for quest rewards and looting make sure the weapon repair kits you grab actually work for the weapon caliber you have. Hover your mouse over the kit itself and it will show you which types of weapons it is effective on. It also shows a minimum durability rating so keep an eye out for scavenged weapons that meet or beat that threshold! For me, i only hold on to the red ones as they work for 5.45x39 and 7.62×39! The ones you can't/dont use sell for a good price so grab em anyway.
very important to know is while you aiming with a scope always try to aim pinpoint on your target this allows you to instant kill without bulletravel time and with silencer you can clean up very good without allert all the enemy at once
The green army has been throwing me off. I'm red/green color blind and sometimes i see these full suited guys that look green, i walk up to them, and they shoot the crap out of me XD
to be clear the storage mods you get via quests are only +1 slots stach, the crafted ones are more. would also recommend the infirmary mod its +10 max hp and unlocks slow hp regen even in the raid
My beginner tip is to drink rotten water at the start. A little bit of rad is fine and early game I had thirst problems since I tried to purify it to normal water. Just chug rotten.
To add: things like milk, vodka, and cigarettes help take rads off. Rotten foods give a negligible amount of radiation in comparison to how often you can find those other things. Anti-rad pills are also offered in early quest rewards to help too! I honestly never get max rads and i eat that rotten food like a god damn rat out there.
Thanks for the Tutorial Tip! i already played like 3 hours and i'm some kind of into the game but i guess the Tutorial will give some clearance here and there.
Keeping Igor alive is good for a while, but once you move on from the woods the stash space is more valuable than a box of random loot you'll pretty much never again visit. I do hope they add more quests for Igor and maybe an option to dispatch of him peacefully, felt slightly bad for shooting him in the face after god knows how many visits to grab random loot from him.
@@CheekiBreekiTv 2 questions, the first. Does keeping alive Igor blocks a new line of missions? And the second. Is there a way to identify allies from enemies? I know that the ones with red eyes are the green army. And the scientist have their colourful uniform. But I usually struggle to difference hunters from bandits
@@MisterLoLesp No there's no way to identify people besides getting used to their uniforms at the moment (which is fine, you get the hang of it quickly). For Igor keeping him alive means you're just no doing one green army mission that's it, you're not missing much and both options are valid.
@@CheekiBreekiTv Seriously though! I gave you a specific shoutout in my video about Zero Sievert that I just uploaded because I found your video especially helpful. Thanks again!

good video, sorry for my incongruous question: are you french? Your english is so clear without any accent that I understand it perfectly (I am french and your english is like a french guy who speaks english, this is not a criticism)
Yes, I did think the name of the game was "Zero Serviettes", a game where no table napkins nor towels were to be found/ And Yes I do realize that probably only french speaking people are gonna get that joke. And also yes, I do also realize it was not that great of a joke to begin with. But the algo does not care ! Engagement baybyyyyy !
Should be higher is better, from my experience, bullet damage reduction is related to class rank, and fragility is how much damage it can absorb before it provide no reduction
I implore anyone watching this NOT TO KILL IGOR! The quest rewards for killing him absolutely pale in comparison to the free mid to rare loot he will give you for free each run.
i keep seeing people say they see the stalker resemblance. but MAN is it painfully obvious this is a 2d tarkov. from the region to the maps to the tasks, boss's, weapon and customizations, ammo, weapon durability, EVEN THE ITEMS YOU LOOT!. this game is 90 percent tarkov and 10 percent stalker. i get theyre both relatively similar, and ive player stalker. the only resemblance i see are the ghoul and alien things and maybe the electric phenomena. anything remotely sci fi would be the stalker aspect. and so far that seems to only be a couple mobs and the radiation. for anyone that hasnt played escape from tarkov, i highly HIGHLY suggest it if you like this game. its literally the same game just 3d with tons and tons more excitement and multiplayer. although i will warn you that its alot more difficult and not for the faint of heart. tarkov is the most brutal/rewarding game ive ever played, bar none! i have like 10 minutes of insane footage if you care to check it out. firefights and such.
Zero Sievert copies the fun of tarkov and avoids bots, cheaters, scammers, and horrible people wearing millions in gear to bully hatchlings. It also doesnt have latency problems and connection problems.
Mutants, factions and relations, stashes, anomalies, quests, traders, etc. All of these are featured in Stalker. Like yeah it has Tarkov features, obviously. Tarkov is inspired by Stalker as well. It's not like it invented these things.
Alright I could've sworn you touched up on this, but I just re-watched both of your videos and it was never mentioned. Do you only keep your gear when you die on a the first few maps? Should I be concerned about running dick first into the mall and loosing my 70k roubles worth of equipment?
i died a lot and refunded game XD stressed me out to much. I would put a full round into bandits and they would not die, yet they would kill me with 5 shots XD maybe ill try the game again in the future when its on sale.
Next time use the bolt action rifle with scope. It lets you stand a little off screen of them and shoot enemies before they can see you. One or two shots is all you need with the bolt action.
Two minutes in and you Kill Igor?? This is not a good tip. Igor gives so much good loot, including rare quest items like the golden zippo, that killing him is just like shooting yourself in the foot.

I just want to add: if you let Igor live and help him with his quest he give you nice loot everytime you revisit him

Played it this weekend, super fun. Good video.
Don't kill Igor. If you do his mission he always has a chest full of stuff for you. Gives you decent stuff especially early.
To be fair both options are valid; The reward from green army to kill him + his loot is extremely useful too
I must have to say, nearly all my rare loot for quest is from Igor chest.
Keeping Igor alive is good for a while, but once you move on from the woods the stash space is more valuable than a box of random loot you'll pretty much never again visit.
