As Tennessee Crossroads found out, a couple who’s not even originally from Tennessee, decided to bring this iconic little diner back to life as Country Boy Restaurant. Seems like a great restaurant. Wish it were closer so we could go in and enjoy the ambience and the food.

Need to check out Kissell’s Kitchen in Ripley, TN that is in Lauderdale county. They serve all kinds of great food.
Seems like every other town has a "Country Boy" restaurant........I grew up just about a mile from a "Country Boy".........It was just a regular family restaurant, didn't particularly serve "Country Food".
Would love to go sometime.

wonder why THE waitress (Dianna) was not there. I don't think I ever been there when she was not there. We live nearby and go in occasionally. We've seen Mike from antique anthology there a couple times. Winonna Judd visits. As they say in the piece, they get there share of celebrities
