Ever get tired of people saying "this is how you make...."? Me too. So here is an actual walkthrough on how to make all those awesome floral arches that you see everywhere.
Thank you to @horriblegamingofficial for wanting to do this build and making me figure out how its done lol.
Is this still able to work? I tried placing the flowers, but I keep getting "something is in the way" when the block is rotated on its side.
Are the flowers on the ground or in your pocket? I suggest placing them on the ground because it happens less, also turning off the grid so you can freely float them around to find a place the fits helps too

3:03 My kingdom for a ready made ladder. Purple flowers are Datura, I think. Which in real life, are poisonous. Otherwise known as Jimson weed. Absolutely fantastic tutorial. Thank you!!

@@NotSoCozyGamer Basically, we would love to have a ladder. An extendable ladder. To get up high when building, especially for light placement inside that new Great Harvest house. Instead of blocks - workplace health and safety issue. 😉😉And there was an old English rhyme, which included the words "For want of a nail, the kingdom was lost". I would like a darned ladder. Lol. Instead of having to build one. I would give my kingdom for a ladder. I would even donate and buy another outfit!
I would LOVE a ladder that we could use in Palia lol
@@Kayenne54 Sometimes I have to place chairs and bookcases as steps to jump up on top of just to turn on or off a light, because the words don't show up unless I get closer to the lamp up high. Yeah a ladder would be cool.
This is a great tutorial Brick!! You're great at explaining things, thanks for showing everything too! This is REAL tutorial vs the ones I've seen where people just build stuff and expect us to know all the little tricks and details! Visual stuff is so much better then tryung to decode someone just explaining lol!

I'm afraid this won't work on Switch. I tried turning my blocks like you did, but every time i tried, they just snapped back upright again. Must be a Switch thing? I did make a gorgeous big arch using your arch tutorial, though. Thanks. I've hit my max blocks used, so I'll have to try building the octogon on a new plot. (I built a giant pool area over my pond with a three story treehouse attached near my entrance.)
WOW thats quite the build! I will try it out on the switch (maybe it is a settings thing?), and see if I can do it. If I can I will let you know.

Hi, so if you were able to build the arch, what issues are you having where the blocks turn back?
@@NotSoCozyGamer when I pick the block up after placing a flower and turning the shelf, the block doesn't stay turned. So if the flower on top is rotated to the right, it flips back upright when I pick it up off the shelf.
it doesn’t let me place them at 2:08. like when i flip it and try to place them on that side exactly like shown in the video it doesn’t work for me? :((
Are the flowers in your pocket or on the ground? If they are in your pocket it won't let you place the flowers sometimes.

Tried doing this but my flowers are not snapping as easily as yours. Its always red until I put it close to the edge.
Ya it wasn’t easy the first time I was doing it. But I had some practice before the video so I guess I made it look easier than it is. You’ll learn where the sweet spot is for placing them.
@@NotSoCozyGamer i wS able to figure it out. Its better to place the flower somewhere else before putting it on the block. It wont work the same if its from the inventory and directly on the block :)
@@katarina8660 that makes sense. I don’t do it from my pocket. I always place them in the ground so I can get a visual of what I want to place at that time lol. I’m glad you were able to figure it out!

I’m glad you liked it. I was going for cringe 90s unsolved mystery kind of an intro lol. And ya I figured real time would be a longer video but at least it would be easier to follow.

By the way, if you stack the chests long-wise, they work as functional stairs!

I'm trying to figure out to make a semi arch to act as legs for a brick ring I want to make later. 😂 I wonder if it'll connect.
Depending on how you do it, it should connect. You could build them together too

How did you get the rooftop to attach? Did you end up moving the structure from the ground (not working for me *cry*) or re-build the whole thing up top??
Which rooftop are you taking about? For the barn video I did or are you referring to a different video all together?

I find putting the bricks on the ground first and keeping the flowers in my pocket made it smoother.
Ya it would make it smoother, but this way people could see the flowers and decide what they want at the time of placing them. That’s why I had the flowers on the ground.

Love this...but why cant i get the panels to stand up like that they just want to stay flat on the ground.
If you’re talking about the stone panel I put the the shelf on to turn the blocks, that’s a wall piece and not a floor piece. There’s two different versions of it. The ones flat on the ground are floor panels.

I tried so hard to follow along but had to restart multiple times because I just don't understand. lol
@@cynzyp5243 as easily put as I can, only the top of the squares can have something on it. So, in order to have flowers show out the side like that, you have to turn it so that the top becomes the side. I hope that makes sense
