Fellow Switch players who want to be able to sink things!!! I found a method I really like while I build a river on my one plot using the capital chic table :) What you do is take a builders wall piece and attach a shelf, then on the shelf place a pillar. You then rotate the shelf 180º until it's upside-down (with the entire pillar still above ground-the wall will have to be 2 pieces high for this, but later you can remove the top wall piece), and then attach a floor piece to the now-lowest end of the pillar. You can now place furniture upon that floor and then when you're ready, simply grab the shelf and move it lower down the wall until the whole floor part is hidden underground (and you can adjust it for your item to be as high or low in the ground as you want). Additionally: if you build a big/long floor, you can have many things (like my river-tables, or a long fence) placed upon that floor to sink all at once, and instead of having to hide/disguise a ton of pavers or something, you will only have the one wall-piece+shelf to conceal! That said, you can even build a long floor pathway away from the shelf and wall before you add items on to the floor, so that the wall+shelf you're hiding ends up far away from the actual items you're sinking, depending on the design you're doing since you may not want to have to disguise it nearby! I really hope that made sense but feel free to ask for clarification if you need hahaha
thank you! I just tried 12:51 this one. &I would recommend dessert plate! It's tiny, and the pillar can align to the bottom line of the plate, which means it is kind of 'sucked' into the pillar. +turning the wood pillar to another side+grid off might helps the attach) ++ or just put a metal pillar on top the wood one, and multiselect the metal one, then attach to the plate.
I know! I play mostly on PC and a little bit on switch but my girlfriend only plays on switch. I feel so bad for people that only can play on switch. It's rough even after the update we just got
The Log Cabin short lights can also be dyed to different colours. When you do that, though, there is always a subdued glow from the lanterns, even if in the "off" position.
Did you keep them around longer or just built them for this video? I tried the one sinking the spring fever swing but when I leave my plot and come back, it gets ported to the front of my plot, and is not sunk anymore :c
I left the plot and came back a few times and even left these ideas for a few days and they were still there but some did glitch out. I think it is sometimes luck as to if it sticks, occasionally it will not.
I can successfully replicate the glitch on 18:20, however, everytime I exit and re-enter the plot, the bench and the cup teleport to the entrence of the map, but the pavement stays in place, any idea on how to solve this?

Thanks for sharing!
Could this work with the growable furniture?
@@ThoughtfullSimmer yes should be able to!
Love them all! Thank you SOOO much for having "non" glitchy versions, that meant a lot! 🥰
Thanks...I needed some different looking fencing on my raised porch area around my hunting lodge.
Ohh! Love that idea! Cannot wait to see.

I didn’t think to use them! Thanks for sharing!
REALLY helpful video. I love your ideas. Now if they would just increase the limits on items on our plots.
*cries in switch*
Same... 😭
You can do alot of things with the switch. Try Witch Qt and Attitude Anne, along with K*fierce Scene for switch friendly methods.

great ideas emma!
thanks nora!! 🤍
Thanks Emma for some fun ideas!
You are so incredibly smart and I thank you for sharing your ideas along with step by step instructions. 💛
You're so welcome!
Great job with the instructions and ideas !
Thank you!
I haven’t found the floor planks. Where did you get it?
Badruus stall!
By using ur method of the flat paver and stone pillars you can also make stairs i have just built them
Yeh I learnt about that method after this video. It’s a great one!
Thank you
Great video. Im trying to learn stairs.
I have a video for stairs! 😊
Thank you

Same thing happened to me
I left the plot and came back a few times and even left these ideas for a few days and they were still there but some did glitch out. I think it is sometimes luck as to if it sticks, occasionally it will not.
Also, sorry I only learnt of this AFTER the video. 😰
How do you sink the items? Or drop, as you said. I'm on pc and had no idea we could glitch items.
The video shows you how to do it. Just follow the steps as explained.
yay for glitching ! !
learnt from the best!!
Omg level 150 😮
Can the glitched ones be done on switch? Sorry if that’s a dumb question I’m still new to the game.
Some can! I’m not a regular switch player so I haven’t tested them all but witchytq on UA-cam has a switch friendly glitching tutorial on her channel.
@@Fleurs_ thank you so much! I will check them out 😊🩷
I tried doing this glitch method with the log cabin folding screen but whenever I leave my plot it un-glitches and ends up in the front of my plot
Have you tried doing it in a different spot? Some areas on my plot seem to cause this too.
Once they’re glitched can we not multi select and move it anywhere else?
Depends on the particular style, as long as you have the cup it may work but I had to move some around my plot manually.
I can successfully replicate the glitch on 18:20, however, everytime I exit and re-enter the plot, the bench and the cup teleport to the entrence of the map, but the pavement stays in place, any idea on how to solve this?
omg you didnt tell me i was being featured ;p
Sorry forgot you were stuck there 😅
@@Fleurs_ hahhahah
