    YES!! It’s wonderful that they are being given Native names! All Barney’s Native plants & fruits should have Native names!

    Shenandoah was the first pawpaw I planted in 2011, and is a big producer! I have since added another cultivar, Prolific, for good cross pollination. I now have 7 pawpaws in the 10'-12' range. Here in southern Wisconsin is zone 5b, and they seem to thrive. They are beautiful trees, with a distinctly tropical look!

    I did the gamble for my first two and got a few seedlings from Etsy. Next year I’ll get a few more names varieties for the orchard
