What a beautiful game, didn't know Park until now (I'm from Europe, so excuse my ignorance) but heck yeah, thats some smooth playing! Also goes to show again that foosball is incredibly versatile and there are so many styles.. And of course thanks for the high quality content guys, you are by far the best channel for foosball :)
Thanks MF! Been looking forward to this one. But what happened to the commentary in the 5th game and why was there a random clip of a black screen with smoke before the start of the 5th game?
The power went out due to a smoke machine. The smoke animation was unnecessarily long. Odd move not to include the most interesting thing that happened in the match.
Everything was included that could have been included. If something wasn't included, it's because someone knocked out our power. Electronics tend to underperform when unpowered.
Everything you saw on the live stream was recorded. We lost all power due to the smoke machine the non-MF crew plugged in. Curious, what is the "most interesting thing that happened in the match" that isn't here on the recording? Thanks!
@@modernfoos I watched it live and remember much of the smoke machine fiasco being on the stream, as well as Tony being visibly and verbally upset with it. I believe there was also commentary during all of this. Much more was on the stream than is being shown here. When the best player in the world is pretty vehement that the largest factor in him losing the match was a freak power outage that was apparently very preventable, that's the most interesting part of the match... I've never seen Tony as frustrated as he was during this one, which really isn't shown here at all. I thought you were saying those portions that were shown weren't recorded. There was much more to it on the live stream than what's in this video. I specifically remember Clay addressing this during the match, all of the commentary is not included here. Not saying it even should be, but the live stream of this match was much different and was very unique and interesting. It's possible a lot of what I remember happened after the match, but I seem to remember quite a bit of commentary right after the power returned, all of which is missing here.
Stats are captured manually from rod to rod. It's a bit more complicated than can be explained here, but it's essentially a mechanic similar to a stenographer. Happy to answer any questions on that.

@@modernfoos Makes sense. Sorry for the unwarranted criticism. I assumed everything I saw on the live stream was recorded. Cheers.

Hey, out of curiosity: How are the stats captured? Are they manually entered during the game?

In which city are they playing?
This particular tournament was in Lexington, Kentucky.
