Also, that piece of metal idea worked for me on my Briggs 950 series engine. Only thing is that it’s still governed so I have no idea if it would hold up or do its job a higher rpm’s. This whole thing is still a great idea, have a great day.
Why no insert bearing on the connecting rod big end? I understand it would be a little more difficult to design but wouldn’t it be more worth it in the end?
I think the roller bearing is a realy good idea but i woud only put one oil hole in the rod. It dosnt need a drain because the oil simpmy pushes itself out to the side between the crank and the rod or rod bearing. And you want a littl pressure in your oil bearing in the best case
Hi Neil I Say That You NEED The Dipper Arm & Would Have To Be A Solid Dipper, Not Just A Piece Of Metal Tab, Probably Be Much Better With Separate Main Connecting Bearings & Do Away With The Piston Pin Roller Bearing
I have a question, is a 6 speed transaxle faster then a 5 speed if everything else is the same, I have an 11.5hp craftsman lawn tractor with a 5 speed but I have a 6 speed as a spare so I was wondering what the difference is? Ie. Is it a slower 1st gear or a faster 6th gear....

Design it wo the top roller bearing that must be the weak point, run bronze oil bushing, but those need service ofc.
I think the rod does need a dipper . A rugged dipper .
Awesome welding job and look good to me thank you for the video

Sweet. Thanks for showing us.I like the 2 hole oiling the crank idea.
Sooo ❤❤cute toddler 😊😊😊you got awesome kids .
Very nice work mister. Good looking engine.

Can you make the rod design available on calts3d

You have to test it and find out.
