I see that to some degree, but that depends on which race you're facing. If you're facing Carnomorphs or Voidseeders, you don't handle those the same way you do Intruders
@@thehobbyist7275 I didn't have any experience with the Carnomorphs and Voidseeders yet. I'm definitely going to buy the Carnomorphs because they remind me of the Dead Space monsters and the horror factor is also very high with them but I'm still unsure about the Void Seeders. I can't really categorize the horror feeling of these creatures which is why I'm not scared when they would appear.
They're a slowburn type of race to where the longer the game goes, the more deadly they become. Going insane isn't totally great because you don't know exactly how your character is gonna react. Wasting ammo, hurting yourself or the people around you, being demotivated, and losing an action card from your hand permanently are all really bad effects. Voidseeders can even walk through closed doors, duplicate themselves, leave noise everywhere, and they don't leave corpses when you kill them since they're all in your head with the exceptions of the Queen and the Lairs (the only way to get corpses and kill the queen). With how tense semi-coop Nemesis already is, it's an entirely different level of paranoia when this pressure is added from the alien race's behavior and the people at the table. Edit: on the bright side, slime doesn't exist when playing this expansion
@@thehobbyist7275 The effects from the Void Seeders sounds like the effects from the Event Horizon. Where an exploration ship is sent to the edge of the sol-system, inexplicably disappears and comes back with something that makes the whole crew insane. Which leads them and previous crew members to hurt, dismember and eat each other. I'm going to watch a Void Seeders Lets Play to see if the horror with this species can be conveyed strongly enough and as i expected. Do you know in which addon I get Untold Stories 2 and 3? Some guys on reddit told that Void Seeders contain Untold Storys 2 and Nemesis Lockdown Stretch Goals contain Untold Storys 3. But i am unsure if just the kickstarter versions contain these comics / story modes and not the retail versions aswell. I also didnt get Untold Storys 1 with the Nemesis 1 or the Aftermath retail version.
With the medic it is the strongest character in both games. With them it is way more easier to survive the nightmare.

The other previous untold stories, I believe, are just Kickstarter only except for 3 in Lockdown, which I got with my Stretch goals box
