For real, I watched this before going to bed, and I had some horifying and infuriating nightmare, woke up less than 3 hours later, couldn't sleep after. 😬
It wouldn't be zero summing I don't think, rather that you just become the Anatomancer, or the Anatomancer becomes you, however you wanna spell it out. The force behind your name and identity is too weak to resist the pull of the Anatomancer's parasitic power once you understand their twisted perception of reality (so called "anti-chim") I think its very safe to say that you don't achieve Chim in the good path. You just end up using some of the same "gore/body magic" that the Anatomancer and their extensions use to divine the future. (there's a reason the DB is able to do this, revealed in Glenmoril)
@@swtorscrub3839 so the anatomancer is basically you but if you did everything badly, he's your darkest imitation and he's you who took the evil path. When I said "walking the path to achieving Chim" I meant it in a way where we can resume our journey in the vicn mods wich we can assume at the end of it would be us achieving Chim (the reason the black owl help us in achieving it is because he also wants to be free from the chains of reality right? Cuz he knows he can't do it himself and he need us to show him the "door" ) also yes I know the black owl is hermeus mora Did I get anything wrong? Cuz vicn lore are up their with Michael kirkbride writings (in the sense that you'll need to spend hours reacherching to understand what's going on)
@@deadsoul7409 Ah ok, by good path I thought you meant just this quest's outcome. Ya the Black Owl's plan in Glenmoril is having us be able to achieve Chim, and in the last moment Mora would "enter" the DB (like he tried to do with Ja'bal), so he can simultaneously view the wheel sideways to see the tower "I" from "within" us, then toss the DB to the side when its done.
You'll find out if you play through the GLENMORIL mod. (Currently not fully finished, final act isn't fully implemented, but you can understand pretty much everything going on here once you play through it) This epilogue quest of Vigilant is meant to be a bridge to GLENMORIL
Even dagoth ur wasn't this fucked up
Indeed, Dagoth Ur wasn't fully aware of what he was, but the Anatomancer is.
I regret playing the bad ending at 2 am 😢

This is beyond messed up...
So you practically zuro sum in the evill path and you walk the path achieving Chim in the good path. Interesting
