The world should have a standing Ovation for SCOTT JOPLIN for composing so many amazing Rag time pieces for us to enjoy! He truly is the King of Ragtime :-)
I'm sorry I haven't run into Kristen's channel a long time ago. I was born to late and missed a lot of good music. But now I have it thanks to this very talented young lady
Your performance is as honey to the heart and delicious ice cream to the soul. You bring joy and happiness to your audience. Thank you for bringing some happiness into my life.
Just discovered your channel and you are a very talented player. I envy you. I practice but i'm nowhere near you and ive been playing about the same amount of years. Rag is also rarer to see played by our generation - way to bring it back to life again! :)
I'm so jealous of how good you are :( Do you play everyday? And how long? And how long does it take you to learn a piece? For example, Peacherine or Maple Leaf?
+Roland Schlösser I usually play 1-2 hours a day if I can. That's all my work schedule really permits. It takes a good month for me to learn a brand new piece, and that's only if I make sure to spend time on it every day. A lot of times I'm working on a bunch of things at once so it takes me even longer. It's rough. :P
Sorry I made a comment on your three-year old video. But now here you are on a taller piano and your baseline is strong and clear. You’ve slowed your tempo a bit which is more comfortable. Amazing talent.
Hello From Canada Kristen ,, Just had to tell you how much I like to listen to your playing and watching your videos. I was at Disney a few years back and was lucky enough to watch and listen to you playing the Peacherine Rag. Great stuff so keep it up .Never enough ragtime players. A quick question,, where did you pick up the figurines you had sitting on your piano?
Come visit Australia Kristen, would love to see you play on a concert grand. Where I take lessons we get to play a piece twice a year in front of the other students and teachers twice a year on a Schimmel concert grand.
Hi Kristen! Love your Rag covers. I'm currently practising a few myself and hope to upload them soon. Do you know Gladiolus Rag? Anyway, I've seen this piano in a lot of videos so going to Disney Land and recording a Rag on this piano is now up there on my bucket list! Perhaps I'll see you there and we'll have a good old fashioned cutting contest! Keep up the good work :)
Please do a cover of Magic Waltz from the movie The leyend of 1900 hundred. If you haven't seen that movie i really recommend it. You are going to love it.
Kristen Mosca I just introduced my wife to your talented playing. If I may be so bold--are you able to play--“The Music Box Dancer”--“Wonderland By Night”--“Last Date”-- and “The Actor’s Life For Me” that Honest John sings to Pinocchio as he’s secretly kidnapping him to sell to Stromboli?
Thanks for not taking it at breakneck speed. This was a walking dance, and rags were intended to be played at march tempos. Too many pianists think that those genres should be played like some sort of frantic race speed, which destroys all of the dynamics and beauty of the music.
Says the guy watching all her UA-cam videos leaving comments...if they're "creepy" then what's that make you? But you're right, shame on them for having the nerve to enjoy listening to her play and interrupting your private piano tutorials that she uploads just for you

Absolutely! Look out for rags by Joseph Lamb and also those by James Scott, if you want some more really good ones.
@@RWBHerealso Arthur Marshall and Scott Hayden, both students/protégés of Joplin’s.
I'm sorry I haven't run into Kristen's channel a long time ago. I was born to late and missed a lot of good music. But now I have it thanks to this very talented young lady
Scott Joplin's music and Kristen's playing - a combination made in heaven. Keep going lass, we love you.
It’s a delight to see a beautiful young lady playing with such a lively touch and enjoying it. How can anyone not listen and HAVE to tap their feet!
Disneyland needs to hire you
Your performance is as honey to the heart and delicious ice cream to the soul. You bring joy and happiness to your audience. Thank you for bringing some happiness into my life.
You are so talented and Scott Joplin is smiling from above.
You are really gifted Kirsten. I love watching your music. It's nice to hear Ragtime played again. Thanks for taking the time to post everything.
Your musical performance just made this crazy world the most happiest place in the world. LOVE IT!!!
My Dear, you have done a LOT of hard work... you've been diligent in the pursuit of your art. Thank you for the beauty of your playing.
All these stray cats and dogs showing up at your door Kristen:)
I've been to this exact same spot! An older gentleman plays ragtime here regularly. Love your playing :)
Kristen is a first class entertainer and gift to my listening pleasure.
Why anyone would try to play this without Minnie Mouse ears is beyond me. ;) Bravo.
One of my favorite Joplin solos as well! Currently I'm only able to play up to the end of the second section. Loved the performance btw! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I LOVE THIS RAG! And Kristen, you play it splendidly and you're cute as can be. Love it when I'm watching ragtime videos and UA-cam recommends you.

This has been ringing in my ears for several weeks now.
my teacher even used your maple leaf rag video as an example in class
+Nicolas Irving Seriously!? That's so awesome!! What class?!
Wonderful playing.
YOU GO GIRL!!!!! That was Great!
Awesome performance as always! Great video, loved listening!
Love this song! It's the next one on my list. Been playing since I was 6 years old. I really love ragtime. Great job on the piece!!
Good job! Millions of folks on UA-cam, and I find the meekest of things, which are always the best :)
wow digging the new thumbnails. i rewatch this vid all the time and was like there's something different here... love the new song too
You are brilliant
ur outfit perfectly matches the tune!
My dad used to play this too. Just love the rags
I'm so jealous of how good you are :(

+Kristen Mosca I don't care if it takes a good year for you to learn a brand new piece, you're gonna keep learning new stuff! Clear? xD
Since I was 9.. So 18 years. Holy crap.
+Kristen Mosca Your piano songs are nice!
Kristen Mosca 21 years. Crap crap 😋
I love this one.
this one made me feel sentimental, and I don't know why! great job nonetheless! I'd love to hear your interpretation of Bethena!
Has Disney made you any offers to preform there? The other entertainers are starting to get up there in age!
Kristen doesn't seem to get older just more beautiful
She doesn't need Disney. Most of the people there don't even hear her. She a better audience on UA-cam.
i really love how you play

Wearing a dress costume from that era would top this performance off nicely.
Yamaha uprights have an excellent brassy sound that compliments Ragtime.

You were there when I played?! How awesome!!
The dwarves are a Disney store garden set from years ago that they don't make anymore. 😔
U are performing sooo cool
If I could click the like button on this video more than once, I would ☺️
Come visit Australia Kristen, would love to see you play on a concert grand. Where I take lessons we get to play a piece twice a year in front of the other students and teachers twice a year on a Schimmel concert grand.
Your fingers are too beauty to play things like this...
good feeling.😊😺
I love it.
I love your crisp "oom pahs."
That was top. Cheers from Scotland!
Thanks for posting! I've finally gotten this one down. Perhaps I'll post a video sometime
Heccin ragtime prodigy! :)
When is the CD coming out?....you need to make one!
Adding to Turnbuckle Corner's statement (which I agree with) has anyone from the House of the Mouse approached you about working for them?
You are very great! :) Thanks for this upload! :)
Joplin lives! -- Scott, that is - LOL

Have you recorded the Pineapple rag? That's my favorite! I've GOTTA love the mouse ears by the way.....
Extremely open and natural playing.
Playing like that you could seriously work there and play all day long. the rides would be empty since everyone would be next too that piano :-)
Rippa stuff! Please learn Easy Winners :D
Cute as well
SuperxD Czekam Na kolejne :D
Please do a cover of Magic Waltz from the movie The leyend of 1900 hundred. If you haven't seen that movie i really recommend it. You are going to love it.

Hola Kristen, te feliciti, coma tostemp en tot tocar coma es angels. Salutacions.

ua-cam.com/video/czXrSMSu0l0/v-deo.html
R u a guest @ Disney?
Clapping
You could challenge Joann Castle anytime!
I hope you tour
Any mistake you make on the piano shows how you’re feeling about a rag imo.

hmmp sounds like fire clowns
Anyone see bubbles in the background? 1:03
She's a cutie!
Show off!
Why is there always some creepy dude standing in the background of your Disneyland vids?? 😂😂
What's creepy? Nothing wrong with admiring and listening to a pianist. I love when people stop and listen to me.
Says the guy watching all her UA-cam videos leaving comments...if they're "creepy" then what's that make you? But you're right, shame on them for having the nerve to enjoy listening to her play and interrupting your private piano tutorials that she uploads just for you
fella in the white cap used to play the piano at Disney, if you look at Kristen's Disney 2004 video it's the same guy
+avocet89 Yes it sure is! Johnny Hodges!
This is my all time favorite Scott Joplin song and you do a great job with it Kristen. I love seeing Ragtime played live!
