East Texas Snow Days 2021

- Check out our video detailing our experience with the recent snow storm that hit Texas. The Winter Outbreak that occurred on Valentine's Week 2021 brought not only snow, sleet, and freezing rain to east Texas, but also extreme record low temperatures. This was one of the most impactful winter events in recent history that brought multiday road closures, power outages, broken pipes, and absolute chaos to the region! We're very proud of the way that our community weathered the storm and especially the way that our neighborhood pulled together and helped one another!

Hi friends. Thanks for sharing this. The storm really wreaked some havoc as I recall. That was crazy! Glad you guys were able to venture out a bit. The blanket of snow was so pretty in your aerial footage. You neighborhood looked so pretty! Thanks for putting this out so we could all see this beautiful snow scene!
We're not used to that around here so it was kind of a big deal at the time but we are glad to be rid of the snow now! Thanks for checking this video out!
@@SunsetSeekers Definitely. We rarely see snow in South Carolina so it's a novelty to us as well. We love it.
That's cool you did that for the birds. We did that for a mockingbird that was hanging out on our patio. Great drone shots. 💪
That weather down there was unbelievable. Thanks for sharing. Kent and Tami
We are looking forward to weather more conducive to camping! LOL! Thank you for watching!
We still can't believe Texas got that much snow! It is really pretty though! Thanks for sharing! ~ Shion and Matthew
Not used to that around here for sure! We are glad life is back to normal now! Thanks for watching!!
I still can't believe the amount of snow you all got in Texas! Crazy!
We are glad that things are back to normal now!!
Yes, got totally crazy. Lost water and electricity couple of times for long hours. Did a few videos from our house in Houston. Was tough. Tried to keep some baby chicks alive and warm. Lost some citrus trees. Glad it is over.
I like those pine trees we got three in our front yard approximately 7-8 around and about 70’ tall up here in Fort Worth
Those are some huge pine trees you've got!! Thanks for watching!!
I hope you guys have vapor barries in the attic. All the moisture build-up when it's freezing and when it gets warmer all the water comes down.
Not sure what that is but everything seems to be fine now--we didn't have any leaks or problems. Thanks for watching!
It sure is pretty but would rather not see it!! We have way too much of it here in WI! So nice to hear you are ok and your community came together! P.S. Love the temple of snow!
Not used to that around here! LOL! We are glad things are back to normal now! Thanks for watching!!
Hello Mike. I have an off-topic question. We just got our 5th wheel and like everyone else, backing into a spot is really tough. I watched your video from 2 years ago and it's still the best one on the web for backing up - IMO. Any thoughts on doing a follow up video? What still gets me in trouble is when to (and how to) transition from the Jacked position to the Chase position and then into the Straight position. Thanks again for that video.
*now that looks familiar. Your drone did not freeze? Way to cut on music. Are sure that she is in that coat somewhere? Form Factor, whoa.Gotta have the right coffee fixins, right?*
I was a little nervous to get my drone out in the below freezing temperatures so I didn't get a lot of drone footage the first few days of the snow but my drone seemed to do alright. The later images were towards the end when the sun was shining and the temps were around 40 degrees. My new GoPro gimbal did just fine too. As far as coffee fixins, I'm a hazelnut! LOL!
We didn't get very much snow at all around here.
We're not used to that around here! Thanks for watching!!
