That warm feeling when one finds an old machine in good shape... Recorded with Garmin Virb Ultra 30 IG: bugzapper1 bugzapperbiker/ bugzapperbiker@gmail.com
Small things are normal...to change and to take care....now and then you need to fuel the tank...if you want to keep going. 😊 It is a good bike...excellent I would say.
I consider the GS500 the best example of the parallel twin air-cooled 4 stroke motorcycle. It is really a wonderful bike. I would love to own one but sadly they are not available in my country. Thank you for sharing this video.
It is true. Very reliable and fun. I have the 2007 gs500 f. Little on the heavier side and not good in crosswinds on highway but everything else is fine.
Hi there, i have this bike with the clip on handle bars. I really like yours, are they easy/cheap to fit? Im six foot two and have a bad back, and find the clip-ons hard on my back. Is it worth changing the bars?
I got one in original orange it looks so beautiful. Love the gs500 looking forward to better weather so I can ride again just needs a little adjusting to get the idle to drop faster it drops very slowly any suggestions?
Never saw an orange one in person. I had another GS500 that would stay revving at 3500 rpm after it had warmed up. I had to release the clutch until it engaged the gears to drop the idle down. Never figured out what it was before selling it.
@@bugzapper1541 actually the exact same thing here and oh boy the orange one is so gorgeous i think it's one of the only one in that color here were i live
I´m about to get a 2007 GSE version, I´m moving from a 200CC bike and I´m a little concern about the height since I´m 1.69 m tall, do you think that I will fit well?
Listed height is 31" (or less) which is decently short. One nice thing about these is since they are air cooled they are also lighter than similar bikes. You are about the same height as me, and I just rode a Ninja 300 and that has seat ht of 785 mm / 30.9" and I could touch both sides with ball of foot but not flat footed, so I'd expect it to be similar.
everyone tells me how bulletproof these are, got one used in my area and the battery stopped charging itself the wiring for the headlight went out after a storm the gas tank started to leak and the engine shaft blew out lol.
You might have gotten a really bad used bike who was at the end of its life. But seriously I have ninja 300 new but my 2007 gs 500f rides better. Never gave me.trouble even at -15 Celsius. Always start on first try
Old school.
I also have a GS500F and have absolutely no complaints. It's a good bike for anything. Thanks for your good review.

Yeah good to check this out again- Beautiful example of a GS500

Great story!

Boas curvas
Parabéns! Depois mostra-a nas curvas.
@@bugzapper1541 so falta a gopro! A suspensão traseira é regulável?

Ooof sorry for your bad luck. That one must have had a really rough life before you got it...

Boas curvas
Já eram bem equilibradas quando saíram. Esta continua em boa forma ;)
Is this povoa de varzim ?
No, it’s in Gaia
