Just received my legend, first detector. The amount of noise and the instructions confused me. This scan of the park helped. You have the same bleeps and bloops, it’s about really hitting a target that pops out. Thanks.
I did practice a little in my back yard. Found some foil. Ran over an area where I buried an electrical wire to my shed and could not decipher it at all. Not sure why.
I find i have more trouble targeting deeper targets, only really close to the surface targets really pop

The noises will only get worse if And when you get to other places that have a High EMI Area, but it's possibly that you have the Sensitivity on the full sensitivity and that's why you are hearing more noises than Target Signal's and the Notka Macro Product's are known for that but just lower the Sensitivity down below Full and it will help you out with the noises and I use to have the Simplex + and I could only have it on 3 bars showing and anything higher than the noises wouldn't stop and the Ghost Signals that are there At the end of each swing and I NOW have the X-Terra Pro and it's a so much better detector than the Simplex ever was and I not stuck with the Single Frequencies of 12 MHz on the Simplex + but I have the ability to change it up from 5-8-10-15 to Any of those numbers Frequencies And it's a more versatile detector than anything else that Notka Macro makes in the Single Frequencies Detector and cheaper than the Simplex + ......
@@digginggopherGet a New Minelab Detector and I wasn't a Fan of them until I got one in my Hands and actually using it and seen the performance of them and I have the X-Terra Pro and it's on 12 Sensitivity and I'm not trying to dig a hole to China Anyway but anything else higher than that I would be able to get there but seriously when I was using the Simplex + and the trash to Coin ratio was favoring the trash Targets and I seen a friend who bought the Simplex + after I told him and showed him mine years ago and he was definitely Digging up a Target Signal and I swung over it with the X-Terra Pro and it was a deep iron target that the Simplex was saying that it's a good target Tone and the X-Terra Pro showed up and it was a Junk Iron Quarter Tone TARGET that Was in the ground and the target was the end of a Fence post,😮 and the Simplex said that it was a great target there😂😂😂😂, and that's why I love the X-Terra Pro❤❤❤ and it's knowledge of Detecting and Minelab Engineering for the products that they support and then Notka Macro And the Simplex is on the Discontinued Detector List as of 2021 and I didn't know that until a month ago and I went there to see if they had a update available for the Simplex + and only too find out that it's been discontinued and WHY???? And that's why I went with the X-Terra Pro and I haven't looked back and never will ever get another Detector from Notka Macro..... 👎

I think the LG24 is pretty nice, love the hockey puck 6" coil but sometimes it feels just a little too small. That extra 3" on the LG24 helps you feel like you are covering a little more ground 👍👍
Can you do a step by step video on the settings you use on play ground
So far, I’ve only found things at the tot lots. 😁 Nothing precious but beats pull tabs at the lake beaches. I’m new though, have only been out a few times. 🤞🏼

I also mostly find stuff in tot lots, ive actually only found 2 or three good targets in the grass (except coins, lots of coins in the grass) and ive been detecting for about 6 months
@@TreasureOutdoors Thanks, Austin. We’ve got a 3 week vacay to salt water beaches coming up in a few weeks and we’re hoping we find some goodies! But honestly, it’s been tons of fun just getting out there and finding bling and clad. Love this new hobby! And love your videos. 💚👍
@@digginggopher Hi, I’ve only tried grassy areas at my husband’s old family home, and the targets were so deep I had to give up. I later found out that my father-in-law used to have concrete blocks dumped in the backyard and then covered up with fill, so I may have been detecting rebar? 😂 Idk, but I couldn’t get there.

The only canadian half dollar I have I won on emanuals workbench UA-cam channel he even sent me a sticker for his channel I stuck on a box I keep stuff in like my,meds and such

Didnt get out today, I'm coming down with something, feels like when I had omnicron covid, as in I'm obviously sick but its super mild
But I took 2 covid tests and they both came out negative
Sore throat, sore neck lymph nodes, runny nose
But at least I dreamt of metal detecting, kinda feels like I got out, in my dream I was detecting a tot lot and I fell into quick sand like waist deep I was calling for help and nobody came, and then all of a sudden there was like a ladder and I was able topull myself out 😂
That stinks. Test in another couple of days if you’re still feeling crappy. The first couple of days you can test negative, according to family members who have gotten it.

Legend for 500$ or Nox (800,900) for 800-1000$
What would u recommend? Any thoughts? I have a MXT PRO and Xterra Pro but am gonna buy another machine and am looking between those
Legend best bang for buck
Its a tough choice, the NOX is really the OG, but I have no experience using it only seen it on some videos, where as I went with the legend and its been working well for me
Im kind of considering to get a deus one aswell, I would consider a deus two if they come out with a small elliptical coil like the lg24, the deus one has the small elliptical HF coil
I got the Legend and it picks up everything. I mean, the tiniest things. Love it and you can’t beat the price.
@@digginggopher the Deus 2 is probably the best machine there is. I would like one but don't want to spend 1600$🤣. Really nice machine....
Honestly both good, they both have strong followings who will swear by them both... I like them both for different reasons, I think I prefer the stability on the Equinox but I like the build quality, collapsible shaft, extra features & price point with the Legend compared to the 600. Little elliptical coil is much cheaper on Legend if that's something you're after.. overall Legend more affordable but I've never had a problem with my Nox and I really think it comes down to preference at the end of the day. 👍
