The show had 180 episodes and Jerry had dozens of girlfriends, yet the best girl he would ever meet would appeared in the second episode of the show incredibly.
George's cool reply "they can" without breaking a sweat is an excellent display of his cunning lying abilities. Such a great and funny sequence that summarise George Costanza.
That name was the name of a firm of one of Larry David's college friends who became a lawyer. They used a lot of names from Larry's college days in the series. Same with some of Julia's friends in college.

I always thought George got all the pretty women because of his hairy chest but now I think it’s because he tells them his name is Art Vandalley and it gives him more of Rico Suave personality
This the episode when they have money invested in stocks due to George encouraging them to invest. One of the earlier seasons and likely the birth of George’s “art vandalay” character/architect job.
Sad that if this happened today a woman might think the guy was stalking her and call the police OR this would never happen at all since most ppl are working from home. [sigh]
I cannot imagine ever wanting to date Jerry Seinfeld, under any circumstances. Last man on Earth, I still wouldn't bother. He's just an absolute turn off . The eyes are so, so empty .
And thus, the legend of Art Vandelay was born.
some Art Vandelay, somewhere on this planet, is mumbling in his chin that's he's famous but got no compensation for it

Vandelay Industries (...an importing company......... and exporting.... importing/exporting.)

They Shouldn't have gone to Vermont.
She was approachable, charming, witty, and centered. They def start off on a great note but ended disappointing.
I agree
This
because she was out of his league. Jerry had a chance, but his cheapness sealed the deal
She had great comebacks for everything Jerry said to her!! Lol
Yes! Larry david and Jerry are excellent writers 👏
She was beautiful
“So do you date immature men ?”
“Almost exclusively” - she was so good
Vanessa was good enough to be a recurring character throughout.
yep! She's equally beautiful and intelligent. A fatal combination for weak men :)
She’s too good for them
True. She should have been one since they gave Mulva another chance.
She's in two episodes.
She'd be a bad fit in a show about stupid people
1:25 Simon, Bennett, Robbins, Oppenheim and Taft 😂😂😂 You can even see his lips move when he turns to Elaine. 🤣
He was caught!! Lol

I could never remember that to save my life

This is definitively the start of the show, Jerry thanked George for helping him, such politeness from the group would never be seen later.
Yeah, and George showing a condo? ...like, he had a normal job?

Moments like these are why the earlier seasons of Seinfeld are GOAT...so relatable, which makes the gags funnier.
The pacing is awful, the jokes aren't great, and the actors have found their characters yet.
