- This is my RC DeLorean from Back To The Future.
I converted a Eaglemoss/Fanhome/Deagostini 1:8 scale “Build the Back To The Future DeLorean” into an RC Car.

I almost broke my face from smiling so hard. This is great.
In the next upgrade I would love to see remotely opening doors and smoke coming from inside. Best build of Delorean on YT.

The only thing that could've made this better is if the DeLorean hit your foot when it reappeared and you went "Ow." :)
I appreciate the EXTREME attention to detail, right down to releasing the hold at the exact MPH it was done in the movie.

I know this video is a year old, but I think you should take this RC car to the Puente Hills Mall where they filmed the Twin Pine/Lone Pine Mall scenes at.
The version I made is flying inside my gaming PC, check it out when you can.
I just looked on eBay here in Australia these cars as they are going for around $4-5000 I was like OMG I would hate to modify it but after watching this video you get 100/100 stars mate you should make them as a production line I know people would buy them

I have been meaning to ask one qestion in tge rc remote control build how do you send a computer code to were you want it he programmed it and sent it in remote I'm asking how can you do that I saw one guy on you tube reprogram his headroom lights but how do you do it?
On the remote control the code is sent to the Arduino board via USB. If you saw someone do that to change the lights of the DeLorean, then it was a modified one with a custom board. The original Fanhome board cannot be reprogrammed.
I love it! the best rc build that I have watched in youtube. may I ask, if you are to do another project like this one or re-do this same build, what change or improvement would you make to improve the performance and effects of the DeLorean RC?
Thanks! At the moment I don‘t have an other RC build planned, but something will certainly come along… My next project will be the Fanhome R2-D2. But I don‘t know if I will modify it yet. I‘ll see during the build.
Improvements to the DeLorean would be stronger RC components that can handle the weight better. And maybe a more sophisticated board for lighting. Maybe sometime in the future…
Automatic doors maybe?

Where do you get one of those and how much do they cost can you get that at eBay
The base model is a subcribtion build it yourself kit sold by Fanhome (non driving!) The RC conversion is custom.
If my calculations are correct when this baby hits 88 SCALE miles per hour, you're going to see some serious shit.

Expensive toy! I never liked the look of this car. It was very square, flat and box looking! So many guys want one and yet the shit box failed as a so called "super car"! It was never up there with all the big names and it was dead on arrival!
