Number one, you wasted 2 1/2 minutes of the video and my time with an intro that was totally useless and not needed. From the beginning, it was evident that you really did not do any research and have the knowledge ahead of time. The ONLY reason that I would hesitate to buy a KLR is the seat height. The Do-hicky is cheap and easy to change out and the carbs never needed fiddled with. It is a virtual tank. I am very familiar with Long Way Around and Itchyboots and never saw this bike in either. More false info.
The Ninja 250R was an incredible bike not only for first time riders but also for motorcycle road racing. It was totally reliable and easy to ride.
The R6 was one of the best bikes to use as a race bike or for track days. It was a very focused bike but reliable as a rock. My buddy owned on for years and used it as a commuter bike and never had problems with it.
After watching your video, I will never watch another video from you because it is obvious that you're full of shit and don't know what you're talking about.

      Hear here....
This video is a convoluted mess. I have a 1st gen KLR.. The brakes aren't very good but better than most cruisers. The carbs are fine so I don't know what he is talking about there. My "Doohickey" is still fine after 19K mi but I am planning to replace it w/ an Eagle Mike's come Spring... (Less than $40)... That bike has done me more right than I have done it. I don't think I could bring myself to sell it. No matter how good my next bike is. I would miss it. Every person I have talked to that moved on to other bikes told me they wish they still had their's, and they were riding Tiger 900s, GS 1250s, Baggers, VTX 1800s, etc... Says a lot for "ole Donkey"
I learned to ride on that bike... Took it places people say it has no business going after I put a RICORS suspension on it... It transformed that bike.

Yeah let's rubbish the Ninja 250 for being underpowered. It's a 250 for christs sake, what do you expect? But hey, it's got more power and a higher top speed than a certain current crop of 350's from a few manufacturers that everyone says are the bees knees. Figure that one.
