Fitty Five years old and I’ve been coming my hair like a heathen all this time. 😂. Thanks for this vid. Never thought about combing my hair and breakage.
I’m impressed that you relax your hair that often and it’s still so healthy! Before the pandemic, I would relax every 11-12 weeks but I stretched for 6 months because of the salon closures. 6 months was too long for me though but I decided to start stretching to every 16 weeks so 3 times/year.
Dawn thank you so much for sharing. I have natural hair but I keep it straight. Naturally I watch many natural hair videos and it's great! But seeing your videos remind me of when I was relaxed and how perfect I kept my ends so seeing you reminded me to keep my hair in tip top shape so much that it looks like a wig. Thank you!!!
Appreciate your video...I have relaxed hair so I'm trying to keep my hair healthy also. What products do you put on your hair to keep it looking so flowing and bouncing without making your hair look so weighed down...I like your hair you have a natural flounce... that looks very light and airy.
Hey, fefe! Thank you for the kind words! I have two videos - My Usual Suspects and Relaxer Arsenal - that show the products I use on my hair. You may find them helpful. Other than that, I don’t use oils on my hair and wash/condition/flat iron once a week and stay on top of my trims. Let me know if you have any other questions... and thank you so much for watching!
Thank you, Arlita! ☺️ I did a video called My Usual Suspects that lists all the products I use, including relaxer, that you may find helpful. I also plan on doing a wash day video soon, so stay tuned! And thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for the great advice👌. Your hair is beautiful😍 #haircrush. New subbie🌌. I'm at the painful growing out pixie stage. My hair is about ear length at the moment and I use just the ORS products and gentle treatment relaxer - they work great for me.
Hey, Mrs D! Welcome! 🥳 Thank you for your kind words! I used to use Gentle Treatment! I think that was the first relaxer I used. 🤔 I also remember having to grow my hair out from an asymmetrical haircut years ago - TORTURE! lol And now more recently from me losing my hair... But we’re gonna make it, especially since you already have a regimen/products that are working for you! 😉
