Thank you for sharing the process. So many women are on TY showing off their long hair but many, many, many do not share the process, struggle and disappointments.
Hey, Nisa! Yeah, I figured since I had talked about it here and there, I might as well SHOW you guys what I was actually talking about. We all have or have had struggles... Everything’s a process.
This is the best hair progression video I've seen on UA-cam. This is exactly what I'm doing right now, and it's working for me. I was obsessed with length, and I had see-through ends. I've now been trimming as I grow, and my hair looks a lot better. Albeit, it's not as long but what's length if you can't wear your hair down because it is see through. Best video! Thank you!
Hey, Delicia! Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed. 🤗 And I totally agree - what’s length if it’s see through? Length will come if you put health first.
I started my second relaxed hair journey as I recovered from severe alopecia. I was grazing APL (my goal at the time) and had to cut it to ear length because of the alopecia. The crown of my hair was totally gone but I thank God everyday because I recovered and today I've got my hair back to health! I need to remember this more often! Love your videos 💜
I obsessively watch youtube hair videos. It's one of my favorite hobbies. This is one of the most informative, relevant, helpful hair videos I've seen as far as the struggle of the journey. As a relaxed person, you HAVE to get rid of dead length in order to get thickness.
Thank you, Charlotte! Yes, you have to get rid of the split ends in order to preserve your hair’s health and retain length. Agreed! Plus, it looks better, too!
I am so happy that I found your channel! Thank you for sharing. You offer such great information, and I am encouraged to start my own UA-cam channel for women over 50. My hair is so healthy and my grey is manageable after going from naturally curly to relaxed. I loved being natural, but my grey hair was not having it. lol. Thanks again for creating something that women can learn from.
Hey, Stephanie! I’m so glad you found my channel, too! lol 😉 You are so welcome and thank you for your kind words. I’m beyond happy that you’re finding value in what I’m offering.
Your videos are making me feel so much better! My hair got overprocessed in January and I have been struggling to get it back on track ever since. After washing and straightening my hair tonight I felt like I was about to lose hope because of all the breakage around the perimeter and crown. While I was doing it I found this video and as soon as I finished straightening it I trimmed all of it before the video was even over lol. I use excellent products and have a consistent regimen, I think the missing ingredient was frequent trims to alleviate and one day eliminate the breakage from the overprocessed ends. I always see your thumbnails and think you have the most beautiful hair, it’s inspiring to know that you were able to work your way back up and I can too ❤️
Desiree, thank you so much for your kind words! I’m elated to hear that you’re not only enjoying the vids, but finding inspiration from them as well. And, YES - If I can do it, you can certainly come back from your hair setback and trimming will definitely prove to be a vital tool in you regaining the health of your hair. Its benefits are many. I look forward to hearing how your hair progresses. Please keep me updated! ♥️
I can not tell you how much I appreciate this video. It provides so much encouragement to keep doing what I’m doing and my hair will continue to improve. I am also a full believer in cutting to the white meat also. Even though others try to pressure me to not trim as often. I don’t listen because see through is a no no for me. Thank you!
Your hair is gorgeous great job! I lost a lot of my hair because of a medication and you were right it’s traumatizing and getting it back was a long process
Thank you, Michelle! Yes, the trauma is real... and so is the PTSD. Even after getting the OK from a doctor that I had fully “recovered”, I remember going into a light panic after seeing some extra hairs on the sink (what turned out to be normal shedding). Cheers to you enduring the process and getting your hair back... 👏🏾
Thank you for the transparency! After watching you and a few others, I now realize it's all about trims, deep conditioning, moisture, protein and consistency. On with my journey I go. Thanks again
Hi beautiful Dolce!!! Wow! 1000 subbies this is exciting ....I said it..I knew It you are going to hit thousands this is so awesome. I've pinned them on my hair and hairstyles board on Pinterest and I know they will inspire so many who maybe discouraged or demotivated or weary for various reasons with regards to their hair. But I also believe that after seeing you; It will rekindle the enthusiasm to also invest in their own hair & see that it is truly possible to have healthy hair/ relaxed hair and really "ENJOY IT". And that the wigs and extensions will just be for fun or convenience love you all the waaay from the Caribbean islands. Mandy
MANDY!!! Thank you so much! And thank you so much for being a part of it! 🎉🎊🥳 And sharing my struggle strands on Pinterest. 😂 Yes, I believe we should enjoy the process!! Thank you for your encouragement! Love alllllll the way from the US! ♥️♥️♥️
I love the information you give. You are very transparent and your tips are very helpful as you speak the truth and speak to those of us who are on the healthy hair journey.
I wish my sister and mom would take hair care seriously but I guess it just isn't really important to some people. Their hair is really damaged and short. Because of how much damaged relaxed hair I see on a daily, it made me swear I'd never go back to relaxers two years ago. Then I randomly found some healthy relaxed hair on YT and I was baffled. I love your content 💜
Hey, S Wisdom! I had a girlfriend who hated doing her hair, so she would just slap a weave into it and totally neglected her own. She didn’t want to be bothered. And, yeah, some of the relaxed horror stories I’ve heard and seen would have turned me off, too. But it there are plenty of relaxed ladies on here that quickly dispel the falsehood that relaxed hair equals damaged hair. So glad you’re enjoying my content - thank you! 🤗♥️
I always watch your videos twice. When you first made it, I felt like I wasn't soaking it all in, but now I have listened and am applying what I've learned. Since cutting my hair to the white meat I feel a difference and have gotten so many compliments about the health of it. If I only listened months ago I would be further into my journey, but I'm here. Thanks for the education and your experience with achieving healthy hair. Now I'm going to watch the olaplex again 😂😂
Hey, girl! 👋🏾 So good to hear from you! I’m overjoyed that you are making progress after starting with a clean slate by cutting to the white meat. That’s whassup! And you can watch my Olaplex vid as many times as you need. I don’t mind! 😂😂😂😉
Heyyy Dolce! Friend, I’m back again. I had to come back to this video because I needed to see and hear this again. I’ve been watching your videos and following your channel for awhile and it helped me so much with my hair. However, I found myself frustrated with my hair after feeling like I was making so much progress. My hair started shedding like crazy and stopped growing. I go to my stylist now for my relaxer touch ups. I mentioned my concerns to her about my hair (my ends specifically) and made the mistake of allowing her to put layers in and now I really don’t see any length and still don’t see much change in my ends. This video (and channel as a whole) is helping me get through this minor setback as I’m really thinking about getting a “big chop” and starting over…AGAIN! Thanks Dolce for sharing your story! 🤗🤍
Hey, Mama! Yes! That’s exactly why I made this because I know firsthand about setbacks and the long road to recovery. So stay encouraged because I’ve been there, done that (many times) and you WILL (just like I did) rebound and recover! #Letsgo 💪🏾♥️
Loosing hair density is very disheartening I can relate. Seeing your progress has really given me hope thank you so so much for sharing stay blessed and keep up the good work
Yes, hair loss can be devastating… I want to thank you for the encouragement and I want to send some right back to you! ☺️ I’m so glad this has inspired you in your journey in some way. Thank you for taking the time to watch! ♥️
Thank you for sharing your Hair Story and being honest! So glad you’re in Recovered Mode. I agree with you . . . we stay in Recovery Mode too long. Thanks for the encouragement. 😊
Yes, it’s time for us to celebrate the victories and recognize when we are already in “recovery mode”. So important. Glad you enjoyed my story, Karla. ♥️
I love your channel! I have absorbed the information that you have offered and must say I have definitely benefited from it! My hair has grown quite a bit! I have before and after pictures to prove it. I cannot seem to figure out how to add them to the comment section! I trim as often as needed. I trimmed my edges and so a significant change! No longer dealing with thin edges. My “kitchen “ gets a trim as well! This makes a difference! My nape is growing as long as my other hair now. I’m loving my results! Thank you for your help! I’m praying that God continue to bless you with your UA-cam channel and beyond!😃🙏🏽😃🙏🏽😃🙏🏽😃🙏🏽😃🙏🏽🎂🙏🏽😃🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😃🙏🏽
Hey Dawn! This remains one of the best, inspirational, and honest videos for us relaxed girls on our hair journeys. I for one cannot thank you enough. Question for you. How long was it between the time you noticed your hair loss, and when it grew out enough for your final big chop?
Hey, LaTrenda! Aww, thank you! I’m so glad you find this vid resourceful. Hmm… as far as my hair loss/big chop timeline, that’s a good question. It did take a while, but I would say that it took about 5 months for my hair to grow back enough for me to be able to cut it to the “white meat”.
I haven't been commenting as much on your videos lately since life has gotten pretty busy lately, but I'm still caught up and like every single one of them. CONGRATS on 1,000 subs! I remember when you were around 300 subs a few months ago. Thanks for sharing your story and these amazing pictures with us. I always look forward to Wednesdays whenever you upload.
Hey, Mimi! This is crazy, right? I remember being at 500 and thinking, “Welp... this may be it.” lol Thank you for being a part of all of this. And thank you for popping in and taking the time to comment. Your comments are always appreciated. ♥️
The key is trimming or dusting regularly, many many women dont do it, they just trim like 2 times a year and they dont realise that when the split ends apppear, they will go up and cause breakage. See through hair is a no no. Thanks for the video
You’re more than welcome, Candice! And I want to thank you for watching and your kind words. Happy to hear that you’re encouraged! WE can do it, girl! 💪🏾💁🏾♀️♥️
Thank you. I'm in a state of panic due to a recent autoimmune issue that caused sever hair loss and scalp damage. I am seeing a dermatologist. I thank you for reminding me to have patience
Girl I see u I don't have any health issues but my hair have not been to bsl but my hair have been past my shoulders and broke off grow back and broke off I had to cut and cut and cut so I get exactly where u are coming from I'm still on that journey and thank u for hair vid I appreciate u so much love u
Thank you ! I can attest to cutting hair to white meat makes it grow. I have got my regimen down pat and now I have to push off these hair products that didn’t give me the best results. You’ve been my inspiration! Whenever I get discouraged I pop on one of your videos and get back to business ✊🏾🤣🙌🏾. My hair is thin in middle just like that, but it’s not noticeable when my hair isn’t bone straight. I focused on having healthy hair as you said, the length will come. Thanks for pictures, I’ll check out blog.
Aww... I’m so glad I can get you fired up while on your journey, Kia!😂 You’re right, length will come. Health is foremost. So glad you enjoyed the vid! ♥️♥️
@@DolceDawn 🤣 yes I be fired up ready to embark on this journey with you arm in arm. Also you don’t push new products every other month for clicks I love it. The authenticity is admiring. Keep the videos coming boo. The Jack Frost 🥶 is coming soon, I’m preparing for battle. I don’t need any breakage. No ma’am ! Lol
Love, love ,love this. Thank you for the words of encouragement. I too am on a hair journey and it gets frustrating sometimes but patience and consistency are the key ingredients to seeing results. Thank you!
Hey, Ashley! So glad you enjoyed. This hair journey has been a difficult one for me, so if someone can find encouragement through my pictures and words as I find my way back to health, then that makes me happy. I really appreciate you watching, Ashley. Thank you! ♥️
Great video, love when you upload. You've done an awesome job taking control of your hair and continuing to believe in its potential. You can see the dedication! My hair seems to grow outward before it grows downward😂😂. At the beginning of quarantine I took off about 2-3" for a semi-fresh start since I wasn't moving around a lot and it did wonders for my hair. TFS😊
I just had to cut 4 inches off my hair to the white meat cause that middle area, but my hair is thick and full instead of long and thin. Thank you for your videos, Dolce your hair always looks just beautiful 😍
Good for you, Alise!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 And it’s absolutely my pleasure. I’m just happy you’re finding my vids helpful. And thank you so much for the compliment! 🤗♥️ I appreciate it!
Your hair and spirit is beautiful ❤️. I have fine hair strands, but I have a lot of density. My hair appears thick, but my strands are fine. Any who, I love your channel,❤️
This video just gave me SO much hope & inspiration. My thing is where to start as far as products. I noticed that you don’t deep condition as most do and it works for you which is great! How & when do you apply protein if you do?
Oh, good! I definitely wanted to encourage those on their hair journey, so I’m glad you found it helpful in that regard. And I don’t use traditional protein treatments as they seem harsh. Instead, I rely on the proteins already in the my regular shampoos and conditioners to supplement the proteins in my hair.
I’m so grateful for finding you on UA-cam. I’ve had issues with my hair. I used to have long thick hair and I don’t know what happened. My hair started falling out and thinning. You gave good pointers. I was afraid to to trim and cut. I now have trimmed my hair and debating going back to relaxers since my hair is now healthy. I didn’t know you could have healthy relaxed hair. Do you think it’s safe for me to go back to relaxers? I sweat a lot and don’t want to put too much heat to my hair. Please help. I need pointers.
Hey, Ada! I’m so happy that you’re enjoying and finding value in my content. 🤗 Yes, you can definitely have healthy RELAXED hair and relaxers can even help in making the maintenance of your hair a lot easier. Even better, you are now armed with more information that will help you if you decide to go back. BUT, in my opinion, I would only go back to being relaxed if I were confident in my decision and willing to take the time to make it work. And you CAN make it work by following the basics and staying consistent. But I would never want you to make your decision out of fear... but rather out of confidence that this is truly the right decision for you.
I’m ready to blunt choose my hair for the fourth time. I feel like my ends naturally thin out in the front two quadrants over time. I’m constantly having to cut it. I want to the doctor and she told meg blood work came back slightly anaemic. Did you start taking iron with your anaemia? I’m thinking of starting that. Your hair looks amazing and you have the spirit to match 💜
Hey, Allysse! THANK YOU!! ♥️♥️ Yes, I started taking iron pills right after I found out and they helped tremendously. Now I just do a multivitamin, but still take them occasionally. If you are anemic, I would work on getting my iron up right away.
@@DolceDawn thank you so much! I’m going to try taking the iron and track my progress for a few months. I just need that fullness to come through in the front. Thanks for all your advice!
@@AllysseMarie You’re more than welcome! And remember that you can up your iron in many ways, including through iron rich foods. If you do take the pills, make sure the doctor said OK. ♥️
@@DolceDawn thanks Dolce!! I started looking into the foods rich in iron. Dark chocolate is on the list🤩...I may be able to turn this iron thing around in minutes lol hope you’re having a great day ❤️
Thanks for sharing the story of your journey! You mentioned several times that you kept the same products but added Olaplex to your regime. Can you share how often you used it? Was it every week, or once a month?
Hey, Carissa! Sharing my story was my absolute pleasure. Glad you enjoyed! I used Olaplex weekly, starting the week after I relaxed and have a vid called How I Use Olaplex No. 3 that gives more detail, if interested.
Anemia can be a beast, right? I have a video that talks about minerals that are good for hair, including iron, which is key to fighting iron deficiency anemia. Iron pills as well as iron rich foods helped me bounce back and now I just make sure to take a multivitamin. If you do go the iron pill route or use any other supplement outside of food to boost your iron levels, please be sure to consult your doctor first as too much iron can be just as detrimental as too little.
Absolutely amazing video and hair journey. I’ve been watching your videos this past week and it’s given me the motivation to really learn my hair and put in that work so thank you 🌸 Any advice on how to make sure that both sides are growing out evenly? The left side of my hair is growing fast than the other side😬
Hey, Ange! So glad you’re enjoying - thank you! 🤗 There’s not too much you can do about uneven growth - everyone’s hair does that (mine in the back). However, staying on top of your trims can keep it LOOKING even as well as allow it to all start growing from the same length, which will keep the disparity of the unevenness low.
Hi Dolce, I just watched this again as I'm going through the same thing now trying to grow my hair in the areas that broke off. Like you, I can't cut to the "white meat" yet because it's at the top/back of my neck. For the hair that started to grow in did you constantly cut that or did you just keep levelling off the bottom of your hair as it caught up?
Hey, Carissa! I’m so sorry you’re going through something similar. Yes, I leveled off the back area as well as trimmed all over as best I could until everything caught up.
@@DolceDawn thanks. It really is upsetting but you really have given me hope. I get my hair trimmed by a stylist with every relaxer but I will get a pair of scissors to trim myself in between
Hey, Anthony! I don’t deep condition (sorry), so I can’t really say, personally. But it just depends on what you’re looking for because there are a lot of good ones out there. I heard that L’Oreal Revive and Joico are pretty decent, just to name a few...
Thanks for the realness here!! New subbie..I was curious if u ever did any feed in box braids on your hair or any braids in general as a protective style along your journey
Hey, A Willz! Welcome! 🥳 Nope, I’ve never worn braids or used braids/cornrows as a protective style. In my video “Confessions”, I talk a little bit more about it, but I just always relied heavily on ponytails.
Dumb question but what kind of relaxer do you use, how many times you relax when new growth comes and what kind of proteins for Hair do you take? I've been natural all my life and I have thick but short shoulders length hair and my goal is bra strap too. 🥺
Hey, Evertronicz! Not a dumb question. I use Precise relaxer in mild (found at Sally Beauty), relax every 7 - 8 weeks and, outside of diet and what is already in my shampoo/conditioner, I don’t do too much extra when it comes to proteins. I do have 2 regimen videos called My Usual Suspects and My Relaxer Day Arsenal that you may find helpful if wanting to know more. Also, relaxed or natural, keeping your ends trimmed will help greatly in your pursuit of longer hair. 😉
@@evertronicz579 Hi, Evertronicz! (Just now seeing this.) Black strap molasses is an excellent source of iron! Pills are good, too, but please consult a doctor and seek their recommendation before buying.
Hey, Alecia! So glad you saw this, too! 😉 All the products I use and have been using are listed in the description box. I also have a video named My Relaxer Day Arsenal that talks about them as well that you might find helpful. 🤗
I had a setback a couple of years ago with the middle in the back thinning as well so I cut it into a bob and have been wearing that for the last 2 yrs. I've just gotten to the point of wanting to grow it back out. I like that you had pictures along to help tell the story cause a visual is very helpful. What's the name of your blog?
Hey, Kalisha! You know, I think there’s something to that whole thinning in the middle thing as I see lots hairdressers posting pics of women on IG with it, too. 🤔 The name P.D. my blog is Dolce’s Closet. Check it out if you get a chance. I don’t post as often as I used to, but you’ll see my hair journey as well as be able to read more of my thoughts on the whole thing (as well as some more personal posts). Anywho... thanks, as always, for watching!
And what kind of moisturize do you use bc in btw my appt I do protein treatment and try to keep my hair moist and i keep it in a bun any suggestions please let me know.
Hey, jacqueline! I don’t normally use a moisturizer, just the serum that I use to flat iron/finish. However, I just made a video that names some really good moisturizers called Moisturizers and Heat Protectants that may help you in your search for one.
So you’ve been relaxed through all this? How did you address the anemia? Also what is “white meat” sorry I’m new to all this ... but I’m going through a terrible hair change and I think I’m experiencing the same thing
Hey, n.k.! Yeah, I continued relaxing. Meanwhile, I started upping my iron intake via iron pills and iron-rich foods. I have both my intro video and a video on essential minerals for hair (listed above) that talk a bit more about it as well. If you suspect you have an iron deficiency, please consult a doctor to confirm and to give the OK for any necessary supplements. Oh, and when I talk about “cutting to the white meat”, I mean cutting to the thickest part of your hair. Your hair, when at its healthiest/best, should not be see-through. So you should make sure to trim/cut up to where your hair is no longer see-through or at its thickest part. I have a hair cutting video called Making the Cut where I do exactly that that you may find helpful.
Hey, lisafavour! Do you flat iron or use heat in your hair? If so, what kind of heat protectant do you use? If not, what kind of products do you use on your hair to style? I flat iron my hair with a ceramic iron and use either a serum or styling spray as a heat protectant, which leaves my hair light, bouncy and not weighed down.
Hi, Elizabeth! Setting a good regimen all depends on your hair’s needs (e.g., if it’s dry, building a moisturizing regimen; brittle, a strength building regimen, etc.). Not sure if you’ve seen it, but I have a vid called My Usual Suspects that goes over exactly what I use in my everyday regimen that would be a good reference for you and it’s pretty much moisture-based. The basics are really a good shampoo and conditioner and the. a follow-up conditioner like a leave-in (which I use) or a deep conditioner, which a lot of people use to give an extra boost of moisture. Both act as a “bridge” to the mechanical part of your regimen, which is basically anything you do to style your hair, be it hair drying with a blow dryer or air drying; flat ironing; pressing your hair if natural, etc. Again, finding the right products is a personal journey that is filled with a lot of “try, try, and try again”, but it’s all worth it when you find “the ones”. And I believe that less is more: shampoo, condition, 2nd condition then style. I don’t do too much more than that. Again, my hair regimen is laid out in My Usual Suspects and should give you some idea as to what I’m talking about and what I use on my hair.
I'm on a hair journey as well , I stopped relaxing my own hair bc I felt like I was damaging it , I would like to know how you trim your back that part scares me but I'm definitely seeing length and so do my stylist , I use the steam on my hair which I do like I'm about to purchase one off of amazon so thanks for the videos I like genuine ppl.
Hey, jacqueline! You’re welcome! My pleasure! 😉 As far as trimming the back of my hair goes, while standing in front of my bathroom mirror, I just use my fingers (or a duck bill clip) as a guide and then bring the hair forward so I can see what I’m cutting in the mirror. I have a video which demonstrates this called Making the Cut that you may find helpful.
You are an inspiration to me, my daughter and my best friend. We are all anemic and never realized it was the cause of our hair breakage. Team hair restoration. I am bsl, my daughter is apl, and friend is just above her shoulders and I believe we can nurse our hair back to health without chopping it off. Do you take iron pills? I don't know if I missed that part in the video. Just subscribed? Great video
Hey, Nail Art Fanatic! Thank you... and WELCOME! 🥳🎉 I took iron pills in the beginning and they helped tremendously (along with black strap molasses) in getting my iron levels up to the point where I am no longer anemic. Now I just take a multivitamin and occasionally pop an iron pill now and again. If you and/or your daughter and friend decide to take the pills, please make sure you get the OK from a doctor first as too much iron can also be harmful. I have a video that talks about essential minerals for hair growth that you may find helpful, if interested (ua-cam.com/video/b9qgrijU_Lg/v-deo.html). Let me know if you have any further questions! #TeamRestoration #letsgo 💁🏾♀️
Wow your hair was amazing and you have come so far! I'm also anemic... Not sure if that's why my hair is thin 😂😂 but I just started taking my iron pills regularly. Btw do you wrap your hair around your head every night to keep it straight?
Hey, pats cookie!! How are you? Yeah, anemia can be a beast. Please make sure you keep your iron levels up. And, yes, I wrap every night to keep it smooth, maintain my style and also moisturized. 👍🏾

And that the wigs and extensions will just be for fun or convenience
love you all the waaay from the Caribbean islands.

MANDY!!! Thank you so much! And thank you so much for being a part of it! 🎉🎊🥳 And sharing my struggle strands on Pinterest. 😂
Yes, I believe we should enjoy the process!! Thank you for your encouragement! Love alllllll the way from the US! ♥️♥️♥️
Love this and love the photos. It's all about finding the right regime, products and most importantly food/vitamins. I'm getting there!
Say it again for the people in the back! Yes! And so glad you’re making progress!! 👏🏾
@@DolceDawn The struggle is real!
I love the information you give. You are very transparent and your tips are very helpful as you speak the truth and speak to those of us who are on the healthy hair journey.
Hey, Natalie! So glad you’re enjoying! Thank you so much! 🤗. You know me, girl. Gots ta keep it real! 😉
This hair video was VERY theral and incouraging I think it's the best one yet. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for sharing.
Hey, Gladys! The fact that you enjoyed this vid and found it encouraging means a lot. Thank you! ♥️
I love that. It's a journey. BUT, we have to recognize and celebrate every achievement along the way. We certainly will see length.
Absolutely! 😉

You are so welcome! So glad you enjoyed! 🤗
New sub (today)….love your content. This has encouraged me to go ahead and do my trim & to focus more on health and less on length! Thank you!
Hey, Maureen! So happy you’re enjoying the vids and finding inspiration from them. Thank you and WELCOME ABOARD! 🥳♥
I haven't been commenting as much on your videos lately since life has gotten pretty busy lately, but I'm still caught up and like every single one of them. CONGRATS on 1,000 subs! Hey, Su! Thank you and WELCOME! 🥳
Patience + Consistency = Words to live by... 💪🏾
The key is trimming or dusting regularly, many many women dont do it, they just trim like 2 times a year and they dont realise that when the split ends apppear, they will go up and cause breakage. See through hair is a no no. Thanks for the video
You hit the nail on the head. So right! Totally agree.
Thank you for sharing. I too had to cut length but am now on my way! It is truly a process! Thank you again!

Thank you for the inspiration! I will definitely keep up with the hair trims.

You’re more than welcome. ♥️

@@DolceDawn awesome, thank you! I will definitely check it out 😊
Love your video's!
Yay! Glad you’re enjoying, Arlita! 😉
What did you do to resolve the anemia issue? I'm having the same issue.. *sigh
I’ve been watching your videos this past week and it’s given me the motivation to really learn my hair and put in that work so thank you 🌸
Any advice on how to make sure that both sides are growing out evenly?
I get my hair trimmed by a stylist with every relaxer but I will get a pair of scissors to trim myself in between
@@carissagraham156 Yes, please know that you can bounce back. I look forward to hearing how everything progresses…
Love the video question is what is a very good deep conditioner I'm using the Tory shampoo and conditioner?
You and your hair are lovely ❤️. Do you protective style (buns, updos, etc...)often, or do you mostly wear it out?
Thank you, Klassy Laydee! ♥️ I got tired of wearing protective styles a while ago, so I mostly wear it out now.
@@DolceDawn Thank you!!!
@@evertronicz579 You’re welcome!
I love your personality, and your hair is beautiful! Since you are anemic, would there be a chance of your hair thinning again?
Hey, Ashley! Thank you! 🤗 I’m no longer anemic since getting my iron levels up, so my hair shouldn’t go through that again (barring any other malady).
Hi! Any recommendations of iron pills or something?
@@evertronicz579 Hi, Evertronicz! (Just now seeing this.) Black strap molasses is an excellent source of iron! Pills are good, too, but please consult a doctor and seek their recommendation before buying.
Am so glad to see this video, what are the products you used
Hey, Alecia!
The name P.D. my blog is Dolce’s Closet. Check it out if you get a chance. I don’t post as often as I used to, but you’ll see my hair journey as well as be able to read more of my thoughts on the whole thing (as well as some more personal posts).
Anywho... thanks, as always, for watching!
@@DolceDawn Yeah I think so too. Definitely checking out the blog!!
@@DolceDawn thanks so much for your swift and thorough response!!
@@n.k.4481 You’re more than welcome!
How does you hair look so silky, is it straightened right now?? Mine is so stiff it lowkey doesn’t moveee any tips?😩❤️
Can you please help to set a hair regimen.step by step if possible.thanks
@@DolceDawn thanks so much i can go on my journey now.blessings miss dolce.
You’re more than welcome! Don’t hesitate to ask if you have more questions...
As far as trimming the back of my hair goes, while standing in front of my bathroom mirror, I just use my fingers (or a duck bill clip) as a guide and then bring the hair forward so I can see what I’m cutting in the mirror. I have a video which demonstrates this called Making the Cut that you may find helpful.
Which relaxer do You use?
Hey, Mary! Hola! I use Precise relaxer in mild.
I took iron pills in the beginning and they helped tremendously (along with black strap molasses) in getting my iron levels up to the point where I am no longer anemic.
