Thank you for the video, just bought a 2022 Zuma (blue) your comments were very helpful. I presently have 36 miles on th scoot . We've had winter weather here , but now getting better, looking forward for more riding.
We were lucky in Pennsylvania. Rode some all winter and had above normal temperatures. Coldest we've had is now in the middle of March. Thanks for watching.
I just got the 2023 model, matte black just like this one. Still breaking in so having to baby it for a while. The 23 model is my 4th Zuma. They are super reliable, very quick and last forever if you change your fluids often. Love the Yamaha Zuma 125cc
That was one one of the more enjoyable Zuma videos I have watched, very informative with real world use. The only drawback of this scooter is the braking, I feel a scooter should prepare a rider for riding motorcycles, but other than that it's a great little machine. Thanks for posting this.
I live in Wytheville and Bristol along the I81 corridor in SW Virginia. The farmland are neighborhoods are identical looking. I thought it was interesting. Also I'm seriously considering acquiring a 125cc Zuma. I'm 47 and have never had a motorcycle license.
Have camped down in that area several times. Great area. the Zuma is great, just turn the throttle and take off. Thanks for watching. It can handle some pretty rough stuff.
I replaced the passenger foot pegs on my 22 BWs 125 Zuma with kuryaken dropdown foot peg extenders to loer my COG, easily lift myself off the seat while going over bumps and give it more of a motorcycle feel of a configuration. Also shaved off the pillion risecin the seat and put in a gel pad, then recovered it with a fake, black alligator skin for a cooler look and texture. Absolutely great in town and country road bike! I put a trunk on back, mainly to stow my helmet and gloves; but I also do most of my shopping on it too. Also have a Supercub that I traded for my previous 2015 Zuma; but the Zuma automatic is more convenient in town with all the traffic lights.
Great review , so glad I got out of the cold of the north . Moved to Bradenton Florida never looked back , something to be said for not having to put up your scoot for 6 to 7 months out of the year !
Thanks for doing this video series. Im also a PA resident, Cambria County so a little north west of where you're at, but very familiar with your area. I've been thinking about one of these and some other scooters for a while. We had a Honda ADV 150 when they came out and although I liked it there were some things that didnt impress me for the cost, especially the seat. I've been considering the Zuma vs the slightly larger displacement Piaggio Liberty 150, which also has larger wheels. I did take the ADV on dirt/gravel roads so thats why the Zuma appealed to me, but I was a little concerned about how much power it had, being a 125.
I also have a Honda trail 125 and the Zuma out performs it easily. The Zuma just seems to have more acceleration and power. I"ve had it in some pretty steep tight spots and it's never let me down. Thanks for watching.
I have a 2011 Zuma and you would laugh if you saw me, my wife, 3 labs, an English mastiff and a small trailer going around the neighborhood. Nearly 900 lbs plus the bike. 15k miles and still going strong 😊

Thanks for watching. You are right. I love taking my Zuma for daily chores. Easy on and off, also room under the seat for groceries , other odds and ends. Also has a lot off power, climbs hills and can average 55 on roads
Love the review. Picked up a cheap zuma 50 2 stroke a few months ago. I have a couple motorcycles but the ability to hit the store for a couple bags of groceries makes all the difference. Id rather ride than cage for errands. Its a blast. How much does the spare tank hold?
I love the Honda Zuma but there's a lot of different models of it now from several other companies one company that I am interested in getting it from is called vitacci, the bike name is called the tank. I find it hilariously fitting because of how all-terrain or off-road it is. My biggest thing is I've seen a lot of overlanding jeeps or vehicles what the same gas canister that you have on your side mount for the saddlebags, my question is where exactly did you find that I am very curious to know!

Thanks for watching. I had a 50 before and really didn’t like the lack of power. Was always pulling off the side of the road to let cars pass. I feel safer on the Zuma .
Do you know of alternative source for oil drain plug o ring? Dealer has had this on back order for 2 years. Alternative source? What is the size? Been using original o ring last 3 oil changes, would like to replace it! What's it made of,unobtanium?
No I'm not aware of another source. My dealer has always had the o ring and any supplies I needed. I took it back to the dealer for the first service since it was still under warranty and my dealer is very reasonable. Thanks for watching.
I love both of those bikes (Zuma and the trail 125) but they're both pretty expensive and I've been looking at the knock-off of the Zuma and it's pretty damn good. I mean I can get the whole thing saddlebags trunk and everything (as an accessory package 250) and it's only about 1600 bucks shipped not too shabby it's very similar and might not last as long cuz it's not a Yamaha
Thanks for watching. At that price you can buy it and see what it’s made of. If it lasts you a year or two your ahead of the game compared to 5000 dollars out the door for a Zuma
