Yup, that's the thing I MOST care about -- is whether some 6'-tall-guy can ride this! ... NOT!!! (I'm 5'6")
-- Saves worrying about theft by tall guys!!!
😊😊
I picked up possibly the last Zuma (BWS125) in Canada a few weeks back and I'm absolutely loving it. At 5' 8", this thing fits me perfectly, and I naturally sit with my knees splayed out in a relaxed position, as well as my feet slightly outboard so the fit is very comfortable. I actually find that I'm a bit more of a Hellion on this scoot than I ever was on any of my motorcycles. I haven't had a ticket on two wheels in over 30 years, but I'm likely to get one before the year is out. 😈
Ha, I saw the speedometer at the first part of the test ride and was like DAMN. I hope the engine reliability is the same as the previous 125s. I have a fully stock 2015 and it runs like a top. Liquid cooling is nice to have here in the desert.
It's almost like they built it for Billions of Asians
🤣
I just got this exact same bike and you calling it ugly, is really making me feel some type of way😂😂😂😂😂😂
I was expecting an actual at least semi review, what a waste of time. Could have at least put your thoughts into dialogue.
I'm so sorry for your loss please send us your PayPal so we can reimburse you for your time.
my wife loves the Zuma. It fits her perfectly She’s
5’4” 120lbs. We were going to pick up a couple after we moved to the beach but I had the same issue you pointed out plus I looked like a trained circus bear on a bike. I lucked out and found a xmax300 6 months old with 900 miles for less than the 125 was going to cost.
I have a 2021 Zuma and absolutely love it. And the 2022 model where they changed the look of it I don't think it is ugly at all. I think it's rugged and cool looking.
Put a 3” riser on the handlebars and there’s no problem
Can you do a video review that’s not 90% complaint about leg room?
Make a video of a good lock to put on it for thieves
I had a 2013 that I kept for 7 years. I automatically started putting my knees together when I would turn. The seat was almost flat with a little hump but i could still scoot back in the seat. This is the biggest complaint about these models. They are made for small people. I wish someone would make one with a flat seat parallel to the ground.
Come on you guys. If you’re going to show off the 2022 Zuma 125 get one of the owners to talk about it. This reviewer didn’t even know where the gas went. As a 2013 owner, I prefer the tubular body to the plastic body of the 2022 model. However this new bike has a lot of the features (behind that plastic) that many Zuma owners have been modifying or wishing to modify on their older Zuma 125s. There is that foot/knee-room issue on the Zumas but most tall people sit back on the seat; they can also get those Universal Highway Bars you used to sell. Asian UA-cam videos show riders straddle their legs back onto the passenger foot pegs. 🛵💨💨💨
Owner was out of state while we had the bike. These bikes are not a good fit for someone who’s 5’10+
3:07 beginning.
Thank you. That intro sucked
You think highway pegs would help with the knee clearance problem?
maybe just put risers on it and helped
pauly with a hickey??
I would say if you rode it, you bought it!!😂 What's the MPG on it?? Maybe you can make some aftermarket parts for it? I personally like the looks of it. Kinda like the Hummer version of a scooter. Can you put/modify the exaust that hidden in the black muffler box, with a hidden bigger exaust port that no one can easily see?
Is it possible to roll the handle bar forward and modify the seat to go backwards?
hahha we will see doesnt seem popular
Couldn't you adjust the angle of the throttle/grip assembly to swing the cables forward and up? The mirrors appear to be too vertical. They could afford to lean back a few degrees which could give you the clearance you need.
The Zuma looks terrible… no thanks! Ill keep my ADV
When I look at it for a minute, it's so ugly it starts to look good. It's a weird effect.
Hey, I just got one of these and I am wondering about adjusting the headlight height. The low bean is sooooo low and is barely 60 feet in front of the bike on flat.
That thing is badass
gross
tell us more
Did this scooter end up getting handlebar risers? You had enough extra room with the cables afterall?
If you like the off-roady stuff, check out the Aprilia SR GT 125.
cool
Well you mostly lean into turns, the small amount of room they turn before hitting ur knees, is allvthats ever needed except maybe tight maneuver stuff in parking lot, then for that you just move back, there going be compromise on any small bikes, you just got kno the compromise and work with it
There is a guy on utube called Venezuelan savage, hes 6 ft 5 he drives this daily for deliveries and never heard him say the handle bar heights was a problem
sir what is the best cvt built for stock yama mio sporty 115cc.,
thank u in advance.,!
Not liking the headlights should of been same size
HI, I like your video and I appreciate your work. Can you please upload some videos that how to remove panels like front plastics, headlights, side panels? Thanks
Do you know if the leg room issue is the same on the 2023 version?
It has variable valve actuation (vva) witch you hardly notice. The motor is exaclty the same as the Nmax 125.
cool
Does the cvt parts from the nmax fit on the zuma??
@@futureluna yes, its the same engine as Aerox 155 and Nmax 155/125
Nice Stuff man, greets from Germany :)
Ive got a problem on my yamaha aerox/mbk nitro
Curently my setup is:
Stage six racing modular
Yasuni c21
Overrange malossi mhr
Malossi delta clutch
Malossi wing clutch bell
Malossi intake
Dellorto 21 carb with propper jetting
Stock gearing
Stock electricity (no inner rottor):(
I ride it with a stock air filter box
So ive got a problem
The scooter wont do anytihng on a half of gas only full gas it goes right as it should
And it is so slow in the beggining i taught overrange would fix it but no luck odk what to do anymore rly
The scooter has plenty of more mods but i typed the most important ones so u can tell its a racing build pls if u have any idea how to get my scoot more wilder in start the rollers are 3.8 and i gotta feeling imma blow the engine if i put lighter rollers
10:06 I’m really short so this shouldn’t be an issue for me 😅
I just bought 2017 Zuma 125cc... at 6 ' tall it is kind of a nice scoot. I wanted lighter weight over my Xmax 300.
Ghost pepper 🌶 is very hot I was dear eat one last month 😢
IDK is it me? He's being a bit dramatic about crashing and the damn knee. 🙄
I mean, when your riding a brand new 5500 bike and can’t steer around a corner, kind of makes the bike unusable for people taller than 5’8
Think about it this way. If you are riding down the road, and you have to swerve to the right because of something on your lane (a sudden event like a deer popping out of nowhere, or a lovable granny crossing the street or a vehicular accident) and the left lane is occupied, and then the knee stops you from swerving. That is a recipe for a disaster that shouldn't have been possible if he could swerve without problems.
Definitely made for shorter riders & too much butt ugly plastic, cheap Chinese parts...Pathetic!!! Yamaha really screwed the pooch on this!
They're great scooters, very well built in my opinion compared to other scooters on the market. All made in Taiwan which yamaha has been doing for years.
Adjust the handlebars, tilt them forward a little or maybe get risers. Videos I've watched show the ride as being a bit rough.
If you're taller you need highway pegs
yes it is ugly :P i dont understand why yamaha and al other manufactures make suchs dumb bikes now not like the olden days a fine minarelli or piaggio engine nah it needs to be 4t al the way now kinda hate it and yes i know the new aerox came 2t and 4t but still
haha
You got 40k!!
I love sis bike
Take the MSS course! And learn how to turn! You lean to turn!
My knees his the bar. It’s not safe for talker riders on the streets. Education doesn’t change the layout of the bike or the length of someone’s legs :)
I really love dis bike
Thanks fer the leg update!
put 155 cc cylinder on it, it would be fun
What does SSS think about the XMax 300? I love my yams.
They’re great bikes!
ADV160
I agree but we’ve sold over 100 so people must like them :)
What are you doing to the white Honda NCH? Speed parts?
It’s for sale but it does 84mph now
@@Scooterswapshop lol….I bet. Mine is 39 tops, with a Malossi clutch kit, tucked, on flat ground. Only 2.2k more to go. Need that pre bug.
I have this bike with about 200 miles on it and I seem to get a wobble or hop in the front tire.
You might need an extra wheel weight.
sounds out of balence take it back have the dealer resolve it
well shoot, there goes my plan of gettin one. not many reviews out. why so hard to manufacture a rad scooter for u.s.
Because nobody would pay for the cost for a usa made bike. Wages are too high
@@Scooterswapshop hmm. Yeah for sure. I just meant available here.
@@Skipow10 Higher profit margins on bigger, more expensive bikes that Americans, and unfortunately Canadians as well, desire over smaller, more practical transportation. Fortunately, I got one of the last ones in Canada a few weeks back...HELLA FUN! Maybe with the gas price increases, this year may prove pivotal in bike buying trends as Asia gets a lot of small displacement stuff that gets crazy high fuel economy.
Try the genuine hooligan 170! Best in this class and hella roomy
@@thechosen5805 I will! thanks for the direction. Looks pretty decent.
That’s a boat they need to make remasters of older models
speaking to the chior we want a renewed prebug
@@Scooterswapshop Good luck getting yamaha to put a 2-stroke in it though. I don't think Yamaha or Honda will have anything smaller than a 125cc for much longer for that matter.
Rather get 3 prebugs for the same price 😅
if you can find them
m.ua-cam.com/video/UZU3oLcV3hc/v-deo.html
For the price I'd go with honda trail 125
I mean, if you can find one
Man I love me a 2022 zuma 😍
pretty interesting for sure
I stand 6 1 and I drive Piaggio mp3 250ie and I upgrade it to fit my size! scooterswapshop
