Hey, thanks for the great tips in the video. I can do pistol squats, have been progressing to unassisted and without pain. However, I have an ACL repair on my left and in the last few weeks pain in that knee has crept in so that I can no longer fully bend my left knee. I think it’s related to doing pistol squats. Can I somehow retrain my knee and/or re-strengthen it without feeling pain? I noticed when you fully did your pistol squat at the beginning of the video your knee was above your ankle and you fully bent your knee to a 45 degree (maybe 60 degree bend) and that’s what I was able to do, but now I can’t without noticeable discomfort. I spoke with someone else who said I have to strengthen my glutes more, is that the major muscle being used for this exercise? And that I may have comprised my knee by turning inward/outward...this I’m not sure if that’s what caused the pain. Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks 😊

Ya I think there was a finger over the mic in the first part of the video, It improves pretyy quickly though. Perhaps I'll have to start using a mic! -James
