    This is a great install tutorial! I run the adj. track bar and adj draglink with griffin attenuator on my JT. It tracks on the highway like it’s on a set of rails with just one finger. They are a pricey upgrade, but totally worth it for steering confidence and brute components. Someone’s going to win a truck that is set up right!!

      Thanks for the props! We're a huge fan of Steer Smarts components too. Very burly and high quality.

    I running the whole Steer Smarts ensemble...Yeti XD tierod, top mount draglink w/ Griffin, trackba & swaybar links & zero complaints with 1 exception. I recently upgraded my Yeti XD tie rod with their aluminum adjuster tube & imo they should've went with 2" OD. Deflection with 1.75" & steering doesn't feel as tight. Not to mention, steel pinch clamps on aluminum isn't ideal combo. I hate jamb nuts myself but that would've definitely made for the better set-up

      Steering deflection as in when you go over bumps you feel like a rattle under your feet over bumps and stuff? I noticed ever since I installed my barnes 4wd 1 ton steering aluminum ive had this. So wondering if that's deflection ?

      @@JoseOrtiz_1416 exactly what deflection is and it'd be more prevalent with Barnes being that it has 1.5" OD, 1/4" less than what I'm running with Steer Smarts' offering. RPM has 2" OD and people are reporting deflection with those. It's just a trade off you sacrifice running aluminum. It's better for the trails but daily on road...not so much. I'm about to go back to steel & swap in aluminum just for when I go wheeling

      @@dwizl7213 ahh good i was worried it was something else lol yea i can deal with it although it does get very annoying. Thats actually not a bad idea ! I might actually run a steel DD and swap out ill have to look into a good steel replacement

    Now how much bump stop do you have to run so the drag link doesn't hit the frame?

    • @northridgenation
      @northridgenation  2 роки тому

      That Gladiator had the EVO Mfg Enforcer 4.5" lift on it and we used the bumpstop spacer that came in the kit. Nothing special needed.
