So somewhere about 30 seconds into the chords I'm like 'oh this is in C' and just like that I realised I'd managed to accidentally absorb some theory completely by osmosis. I'm not sure whether you deserve blame or thanks for this.

I've been in a weird funk and have found myself strumming randomly Am, Em, C, and Fmaj7 so I come looking for inspiration. Ryan's teaching a song I don't think I know.. huh. Turns out I've been playing most of this song completely out of order for a week trying to find the pattern and missing the Dm. I feel strange validated that I wasn't losing my mind.
poor oft forgotten Dm. lonely 2 of the C key. relative of the not so often used F key. that's all I can think of right now it's too early to think. but you get the idea.
I am so glad you did this one on the day it's too rainy for me to go outside

The flaming lips, but I learned it already, quite similar to Yoshimi, love the lips man, they saved our ass in Toronto when we went up for Radiohead and the stage collapsed, fn non union labour, anyway they were playing for free in Dundas square that holds about 12k people, about 50k showed up lol
But would still love to see a campfire version by yourself, buddy was a little too into the exact notes and with the flaming lips they change them through a lot of songs so he spent a lot of time on that. The yeah yeah yeah song would be a great one too
A lot of great tunes on transmissions from a satellite heart, turn it on which I just remembered I know how to play lol, plastic Jesus, she don’t use jelly. I love Vein of stars as well, same album as the yeah yeah yeah song , that’s my next one

they should translate flawlessly. but if you try to play Fmaj7 (open e string) there won't be any F's in your F. you'll have ACEA (which isn't not an F) Try it, but I'm gonna guess you're going to want to just play regular F
