I just adopted a bicolored cat (white and orange) and he's very sweet! He was rescued, fostered, and socialized at a cat cafe. There are so many factors that have made him who he is and I'm grateful he's mine 😻
My ginger male cat is one of the most friendly cats I have ever had and one of my friends said that my cat was stupid because he did not bring back the toy but my cat brought it back for me when my cat and I were alone. I am happy that my daughter brought him to me to look after him. He is a joy to me.😂
I have a ginger boy at my parents farm and he's the best little hunter I've ever seen. Yeah, he can be silly when he wrestles with the dog (250+ lbs Anatolian and the size of a large goat), but he's very sweet and loving around us. I also have had a calico (sweetest little girl in the world wide world, I miss my Painted Desert 😭) and I currently own a tortoiseshell, Esmeralda. She's super sweet, and has never shown me or my other cat (brown tabby Maine Coon mux) any tortitude since I got her.
I used to have an orange cat names Richard. He was one hell of a cat for his attitude as well as trying to being with anyone who he sees other than me and my mom. Unfortunate he passed away last may to diabetes. I still miss him.
My orange guy is the most curious cat I’ve owned he’s also super aware and sensitive to any change in his environment, he’s very affectionate and vocalizes a lot !! I adore his antics . Love your cat of the week feature !! ❤
Once you’ve had an orange cat no other cat comes close except maybe gray tabbies- my orange boy had my heart for 12 yrs and left a million paw prints on my heart
My Siamese/tabby mix was the special cat for me. Not orange at all. My childhood cat was a grouchy orange boy. Lovable but too grouchy. I don't think looks make a cat that much different.
@@Catlily5 there’s just something about those tabbies for me- never met a stranger i love the siamese mixes too especially the silver tabby striped mixes they are so beautiful and i love the full blooded siamese and the flame point siamese
I have 9 cats. 4 black cats, 1 black & white cat, 3 tabby cats and 1 ginger & white cat (mostly ginger with white bib and paws), Tigger. Think Garfield and you've got Tigger. He's the only cat I've had to put on a diet. He is lazy except when a moth or other flying insect goes near and he moves like greased lightning ⚡⚡⚡ He is also the most loving, friendly cat I've got. Just have to look at him and he purrs. That said, another of my cats who is super friendly and loving is one of my black cats, Kira. She's also my most mischievous cat. Shady and his brother Shadow are also super friendly and loving so I don't really think coat colour has anything to do with it.
Owner of an orange here. He is *very* affectionate, to the point of being clingy, though "friendly"...not so much. If you don't do what he wants, he gets nasty. Even if you do, he'll sometimes get nasty, but that's because he's a typical orange idiot--he honestly doesn't realize that he's being mean, partly because when we brought him in as a stray kitten, our older (female) cat wanted no part of him so he associated her nasty behavior towards him with "playing". Also, I think that some of his "attacks" actually are his attempts at showing affection--he's clingy, but since cats have no thumbs, his only way to hold his humans is with claws. And, wow, yeah, you've got my cat pegged. Like I said, he was abandoned as a kitten. It's why he's so clingy.
When i was 4yrs old my uncles orange cat "Rhett" sat with me in a 30ft hallway tossing a hotwheels toy back and forth for hours. I'm now 29 and have good memories of my orange buddy "Rhett".
My orange cat, rusty, can be silly, loving and extrememly curios. He has taught hisself to unlock and open a horizontal sliding window to sit out on the ledge. He never tries to leave and hasnt quite grasped closing the window yet. He can be really sweet and playful, but also moody. He keeps me on my toes!!!
All cats are great. Orange cats have strong personalities. They can be a very affectionate cat, but will sometimes have a domineering streak, sometimes very wild (but rarely). They are usually not afraid of dogs so much and the males tend to be bigger and stronger than other cats. Also they usually have strong voices and tend to be vocal. Even persian red/orange cats are more active than other persians. I have had a few cats, oranges were my favourite, because they are a little “dog like”. Also really like black cats, wich are usually very affectionate and inteligent.
We've had many, many cats, grey, black, multi color, white, and orange. I can promise you that I've never had more clumsier cats than orange cats. As far as affectionate, all my cats have been very affectionate, but my 5 orange kitties that we've owned in our time, 12 cats at one time, different colors, and right now 6, 2 which are orange, the orange kitties are funnier, and clumsier except the orange female.. None have been alpha except our female orange cat. She was smart, fearless, and the boss. The two orange cats we have now are both male. One came to us from our vet that was there to be put down. As a kitten, his arm was pulled completely out of the socket, and the nurves' endings destroyed. The 1100.00 surgery was too much for the " owner", apparently he was a stray, and they brought him in to be euthanized. We came in at the right moment. He's a three-legged mischief making beautiful cat, and i just love him so much. His name is Cheddar. There's a reason he's clumsy!😊. Then there's Colby. He was found in a plastic bag alongside a hot Florida roadside along with his brother. His brother was adobted, but we took home him and another kitty from the shelter. Max, a beautiful siamese that were the only two kitties left. Max is now the alpha, a very level-headed, smart, affectionate cat, while Colby is the most awkward, clumsy, affectionate cat I've ever owned. We do not pick our cats by color. They come as they are and in all different circumstances. I will say our 4 male orange cats have been everything they say about an orange cat and more. All our cats bring us joy and happiness, but our orange kitthave brought us more laughter.
My female orange cat is very sweet but also smart and loves food more than any other cat I have had. I have to feed her smaller amounts at set times of the day or she will overeat and get fat, and she knows those times. She is creative in getting my attention to try and get me to feed her sooner. She is also the only cat I have had who likes to have her tummy rubbed.
Ii only recently, through watching these videos, of some cats being orange, where is i come from, we call them ginger cats or giner tom cats.when you call them orange i find it funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I don't believe that orange cats are different. We had an orange cat when I was a kid who was very grouchy. Not friendly. He was still loveable but not the stereotype.

Oh those creamsicle orangies are so loveable i had one too 😻😻🐾🧡🐾🧡🐾
My OC is really smart, loving, affectionate and snarky.

My Orange Cat was always on the outside looking for other cats to fight.

The cat at *1:45* looks exactly like my Mister Brooster
I had to chuckle. 9 times out of 10, yellow cats are male. The trend of orange cat behavior being silly, clumsy, etc speaks volumes!! 😉
More like 8 out of 10 orange cats are male.

My cat is a very sweet orange cat.
I have a tri-colored cat who is very friendly at least to me so that bit is debunked at least by me
When i was 4yrs old my uncles orange cat "Rhett" sat with me in a 30ft hallway tossing a hotwheels toy back and forth for hours. I'm now 29 and have good memories of my orange buddy "Rhett".
I am almost afraid to ask what they thought of black cats.
I recently got my first ginger feline friend.
He is a cat.

We had an all orange girl and still have an orange and white male. We call the term "derpy" to describe their goofy behavior 🥰🥰🥰
Sorta like the feline version of unemployed behavior… but without all the sass.

Friendly and affectionate; yes they tend to be. The rest I don’t believe they are any different than the other cats as far as being silly sometimes.
Yeah, those are some facts about Melissa‘s kitten

I have two orange female cats and their personalities are completly opposite of each other.
You can say one is introverted, one is extroverted
Pate, not plate haha.
3:26 Best part of the video!
My orange cat is grumpy and silly hahahaha.
Ive had 2 black cats and one orange cat. The orange cat was the only crazy one
I don't believe that orange cats are different. We had an orange cat when I was a kid who was very grouchy. Not friendly. He was still loveable but not the stereotype.
My orange cat is really fat and he's hilarious lol
He's been my best buddy since he was 6 weeks old. He's 4 years old now
Ridiculous ! I disagree with your cat color assertions ! 🙄
Sadly wrong
Female cats or male?
I did read that orange cats did not survive well in the wild and were bred by the Egyptians for religious purposes. The Vikings also favored them.
Thank you for calling them orange and not soulless creatures. I myself are orange and I have a bigger soul than many 😅
