I get such a thrill watching NEW people react to the GREATEST A ACAPELLA GROUP in the WORLD!!!😄😄😄 The Trio Scott, Kirstie and Mitch are childhood friends from the state of Texas, they grew up doing musical theater and choir. Avi is from California and was introduced to Scott when Scott moved to California to attend college. Kevin is from Kentucky and was attending YALE University having just graduated Pre-Med but he had posted a video of him playing, the cello while beatboxing (cello-boxing). Scott was shown this video and contacted Kevin, helped pay for a plane ticket to California to have Kevin join the Trio and Avi to audition to the televised A capella singing competition The Sing Off. This was in 2011... PENTATONIX just celebrated their 10 year anniversary as a group on the 5th of June...
Few corrections, there's no group leader and kirstin mitch and Scott ( childhood friends ) formed the group, they added kevin and avi to compete in sing off, rest is history
I love their live video of "Gold"! I don't like the original tho. She has to use so many electronics to make the sounds Mitch makes naturally! And at the end when they start passing the lead part around between them?!? 😲 Absolutely Amazing! 💕
Kirstin stands out as the only girl but if you pay attention she is the one singing the hardest harmonies and can switch back and forth between harmony and "All around the World" while Avi is singing his very low Television part. She leads the key changes in other songs because her pitch is so perfect. Mitch and Kirstin can blend their voices so well that Mitch says they sound like one person. She has a very small solo here but I like to listen to a song at least five or six times so I can isolate everyone's part. Every one of them is amazing.
Minor 9th chords at the beginning; Avi doing overtone singing on the last 16 of Kirstie’s solo; Kevin doing snare drum rim shots... these people! Mitch is a true counter-tenor and Avi is a basso profundo!
The best live performance from Pentatonix is “Aha! Live - Singapore The Star Vista”, also known as the “where is Kevin” video. Kevin is putting his cello away in the beginning of the video. The person who records the performance does not pan to him when he returns, but you can hear him performing! This is a MUST SEE performance from PTX!!
Mitch and Kirstie are chameleons with their appearances over the years. Avi was trained as an operatic Basso Profundo; his replacement, Matt Sallee, has a delightful voice but does not have quite that amazing lowest end. They were such kids at this point, about 22 years old for the Trio (Scott, Kirstin, and Mitch) and only a year or two older for the other two, that comparing them with their appearances in the 90s Dance Medley is a bit startling. Another good live performance is the Christmas Special version of Hallelujah - they have mics, but no after-processing.
Pentatonix is well known for not singing any song that they cannot perform live. The best way to compare there performances between recorded and live is to watch their Hallelujah video and the live performance for a Christmas special on TV. The two performances sound almost exactly the same. There is no auto tune or musical instruments except occasionally Kevin will play the Cello.
@katmb Baker Thank you for the comment and the information. We will look to find some songs with Kevin on cello, that sounds very interesting too. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for your great reactions. Some of your comments remind me of my thoughts when I first heard PTX. I wondered how they did all the sounds. Then over time I saw videos of behind the scene of their process of creating these masterpieces. It takes a lot of hard work. The arrangement is the key to a Capella. Each person is responsible for their part, but they have to be completely in synch with the other members or the whole thing falls apart. The real secret of good a Capella is TRUST. The members have to know that they will be there with each other in perfect harmony for each performance. Vocal coaches and Choir Masters bring this point up again and again. PTX is lucky in that the core singers (the Trio) Scott, Mitch and Kirstie have known and sung with each other since childhood. (8 to 10 years old). Their bond is their secret. Finding Kevin (Beat Boxer) and Avi (Bass) completed the magic that is Pentatonix. They take risks and have brought a Capella music out of the Middle Ages. Daft Punk was an experiment to see if they could mimic modern Techno instruments. They proved to themselves and the World that they could. (Thank you Mitch). Hope you continue on the PTX journey. They will continue to amaze.
@Joe Vece Hi and thank you for the lovely and informative comment. We have enjoyed finding Pentatonix and it was such a great time on our first reaction. We like to be honest and we genuinely do not listen to any of the songs before we start recording and it is all done in one take. We will come back to PTX soon, but will have a little break in between, so that it all stay new and fresh each time we watch a new song. Thanks for your support, we appreciate it.
For a great comparison watch Hallelujah official video and then Live from their Christmas Special. Also Aha video and Live Singapore Star Vista performance. Amazing group wonderful reaction look forward to more PTX!
I’ve been to eight of their shows and I guarantee they have no problem singing this live. It was their opener for many shows. They’re so good that even though I’m watching them in person, I find myself still forgetting there is no track. Kevin is their secret weapon
Here's the link to the private performance of Daft Punk ua-cam.com/video/tw4YCsHXKgI/v-deo.html Maybe Brit Pop 1 will believe it once he sees this, lol. I really appreciate how you are taking the time to learn about the group. Hope to see more real soon!!
NEXT video if you are doing a "LIVE" performance HAS to be "Aha" Live from the Star Vista, Singapore. The absolute lows from Avi in contrast with Mitch's high highs is PERFECTION!!! I had to giggle a tad when you guys said how can anyone get that low with Avi...he has blown out speakers at their performances :) So glad you eacted to this one because it is one of my favorites from them!! Keep rocking guys...you are AMAZING!!! Much love from Ohio, USA...keep on smiling and stay safe and healthy out there
What a lovely message! Thanks Tali form BP1 here :) I really want to see a live version just so my eyes and ears can even more appreciate this amazing group! Big up to Ohio and thanks for the kind words, I have noted this version and thanks for engaging with us :)
1st Grammy, spent all of 400 dollars and used Avi's closet and kitchen. Avi left in 2017. Otherworldly talented. Great Reaction. You 2 should do "Bohemian Rhapsody" next. Mitch is a chameleon, his looks constantly change. There are other good A Capella groups out there with hundreds of millions of views...PTX has over 5+ BILLION views...there it is.
I like all of Pentatonix's songs. But I love their versions of John Lennon Imagine and Queen Bohemian Rhapsody. Please have a look at these two videos.
It is so fun to watch new reactions to PTX! Might I suggest Bohemian Rhapsody, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, and any of their originals, like Happy Now, Coffee in Bed, and Never Gonna Smile Again!!!
There's nothing better than watching people discovering the miracle that's PTX! Loved your reaction 😁, please check "Can you feel the love tonight" and "Imagine"
@donepearce Thanks for watching Don, We have something a little interesting coming up later. We will do some "Home Front" on our next recoding session. Stay tuned
There is a video of PTX performing Daft Punk live in a private performance. And it proves, yet again, that what you see in an official video can also be performed live... In fact, they insist on it. Another example is Hallelujah... Both the official video and the live performance from their Christmas TV special!!
Pentatonix also have a couple not mentioned to often live small stage performances both originals. 1. Misbehavin Honda Stage and 2 Cracked Honda Stage both are extremely good.
the best live performance for sound is " popspring" three original songs and the Michael Jackson medley AMAZING !! once you get to watching their videos you will be a Pentaholic like us LOL
Welcome to the PENTATONIX Rabbit Hole! Next up: HALALUIJH SOUNDS OF SILENCE MAD WORLD MARY , DID YOU KNOW ? BOHEMIAN RAPSODY GOLD SING RADIOACTIVE LOVE ME WHEN I DON'T BE MY EYES SHALLOW JOLENE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY DANCE OF THE SUGAR PLUM FAIRY and all the Christmas music that you could ever want!🙂 and all the Christmas mu
Their Sound of Silence live from the Jimmy Kimmel show is awesome if you want to hear them live. You can't go wrong either with their Hallelujah live performance from their Xmas special. Also, their Bohemian Rhapsody cover will amaze. Look forward to seeing more PTX reactions.
So much fun watching you fellas discover Pentatonix. We've all been at that open-mouthed-in-amazement stage, so it's a kick to share yours with you. Others have made terrific recommendations for future reactions, but for laid-back, one-take masterpieces that show off their vocal and creative abilities, I vote for "Evolution of Michael Jackson" and their cover of Kiiara's "Gold." More PTX, please!
It's official! Love you guys! And yes yes YES! Mitch's ' Your Power' is otherworldly. He did the piano and synth for it too. It's amazing. I know you said you don't like sticking to the same band, but if you do any more then for a live I would suggest Hallelujah from their Christmas special. For their beautiful harmonies then either Amazing Grace, Mary did you know? Or Imagine. For an original song, Love Again or Coffee in Bed. Honestly though, all their stuff is fantastic, and I want to you to react to anything by them. As a fellow Brit, welcome to the PTX rabbit hole! ❤
@EnderOllie 4 Thank you for the great comment and the support, we appreciate it. Thanks for the fun fact regarding Mitch, we like those. We may have to check that out soon. We will react to more PTX, but space them out a little to keep it all fresh and have you guys come back!!
Hello! I’m a new subscriber and a true Pentaholic. PTX has a wonderful official video (studio recording) and also a live video of the Leonard Cohen song Hallelujah. The studio version is an amazing, powerful performance and a great video set in the California desert. The live version is a high quality recording which will prove to you without a doubt that they are the premiere a cappella group on the planet.
If you hear their natural talking voices (Avi the bass and Mitch the tenor) you’ll understand why they so easily crush their respective parts! They’re all absolutely amazing!!
They're good at multitasking too. Avi does whistle tones while singing bass, Kevin can beatbox while playing cello, Scott doubles for the bass when the bass is singing lead, Kirstie and Mitch interchange with the harmonies so all of them are multi-talented. Great to watch your reaction.
@@BritPopsReact I was just about to look them over! How bout we get Pentatonix to do a Brit Pop Medley?? How insane to hear Oasis/Blur/Pulp/Supergrass etc done by these guys!! It would be soooo cool! Cheers!
@Michael Whelan That would be a great idea..who do we call? Hey, I dropped "Alias Kid" on BP1 it should be out soon. We may not get many views on it, but we don't mind.. Hope you check it out and thanks for the recommendation.
Gosh there is so many songs I look forward to seeing your reaction but Imagine has a beautiful message, Hallelujah & Amazing grace are angelic, mad world is beautifully done. I can go on and on lol, you really can't go wrong with Pentatonix
You guys should check out Mike Tomkins. He mixes himself doing every instrument separately then puts it all together. He does a great version of Adele 'Rolling In the Deep'. He's doing a hiatus right now, so no recent vids, but the older stuff is amazing as well. Oh, and he's Canadian, originally from London, Ontario I believe.
Avi Kaplan is one of thre best existing basses(in my opinion)..The next two are--Tim Foust(Home Free),and Goeff Castellucci(Voiceplay).All thre are unbelievable(crazy good),but my personal favorite is Tim Foust(Home Free)..
@Kruno Obad That is very interesting, we have yet to react to "Home Free" but we have started to see them mentioned often. We should get to them soon. Thanks for watching.
👉👉👉The fun fact is incorrect YES! they did spend $400 making this video with the help of a very small up and coming production company called Fifth Gen. It was filmed in kitchen and recorded in the closet of the bass and beatboxers apartment they shared THEY WON THEIR FIRST GRAMMY WITH THIS ARRANGEMENT/SONG!!!
The beatboxer will sometimes play a cello, but it always seen. They hide nothing. Also if Kevin is playing the cello,he is normally beatboxing at the same time, he calls it cello boxing lol. Also Mitch is always changing his look, and so does kirsten, she changes her hair color often
haha, i am loving this. Your jaws are on the floor halfway through. Pentatonix are absolutely amazing. My favorites by them are acutally one original songs of them (if i am not mistaken) called Love again. (might be a cover of a song I don't know) and their collab with Lindsey Sterling doing a cover of imagine dragons radioactive. Oh 3 x 10/10 BP1, BP2 and CC ;) A kind of spin-off of PTX would be Superfruit, a Project of Mitch and Scott. I like that as well. My favorites being imaginary Parties and Worth it. Guy.exe is sweet as well
@Chris Cross That was great fun, we really enjoyed that. Thanks for the other songs options, "Imagine Dragons" we have those on our list to react to as they are a name we have come across, so we may do something from them and spin off to this PTX song, that would be fun. Also, Superfruit is new to us also, so again, we will more than likely give them a visit and finally, pheeeww. we will give some of their original content a view also. Catch up soon..
Kirsten Maldonado does have a solo album as well, and she did Broadway "Kinky Boots" so she is a star in her own right. For fact they all have amazing talent and most have solo work out there. Just the fact they are this talented together proves they earned respect around the world.
If you actually look at the costuming and lighting, it's all very cheap, easily available, and a lot of people (including them) already have them.. They only had head shots because that was all they could focus on and all they had room for in their 3 foot cubed "studio": a black sheet draped over them. Less than $100 to shoot. The rest was to pay a local company for professional editing.
@Sarah Gould Thank you for the comment and the interesting information, just goes to show what you can achieve with a bit of thought and creativity. Thanks for watching
Hi guys, I feel I waited so long for you to do this next Pentatonix video. If you wanted a live performance in front of a live audience, then hallelujah will show you each of the bands incredible voices. The daft punk live is just the band without microphones so difficult to hear and it’s not fair to judge them unless you show a truly live performance. They have done a live Star Wars medley at a huge award show (they were introduced by Harrison Ford). Their bohemian Rhapsody video was give a call out on twitch by Brian May, what an endorsement. I hope you do another PTX video soon. Great reaction (although I would have given DP a 10, but I’m biased when I come to PTX) Thank you so much for sharing this video xxx
@Elaine Howard Ahh, sorry to keep you waiting. We only do this in our spare time and usually get to record reactions maybe twice a week and post 2 reactions per day if we have enough. We will get to record more on Friday and release them next week, We will do more PTX very soon. Thanks for waiting, we don't want to do too many and everyone know how we will react. Where's the fun in that 😄
Pentatonix does not have a "band leader", as they consider themselves a five-person partnership. Scott, Mitch & Kirstie have known each other since they were children and performed together in local youth musical theater in Arlington, Texas. They ended up attending the same high school and formed an a cappella group together called The Trio. That group was the basis for what became Pentatonix in June of 2011 (so the full group just celebrated their tenth anniversary). It's kind of funny how you mentioned that you overlooked Kirstie in your reaction. She was overlooked quite frequently in the early years, largely due to the fact that she was terribly shy and had low self-confidence (the reason for that is too complicated to go into now). After the release of her successful solo album in 2017 and after a highly acclaimed stint on Broadway in 2018, she emerged GLEAMING with self-confidence and has now moved into a much more visible role in the group as a true leader.
@@BritPopsReact Scott is "technically" the leader. He was approached to audition for the show The Sing Off, He contacted his childhood friends to join him, he was introduced to Avi and persuaded Kevin to join them in the audition, even helping pay for his plane ticket. Scott came up with the name PENTATONIX (in reference to the 5 part harmony pentatonic scale) there is a "LOT" more that would paint Scott as the "unofficial" leader. BUT the GREAT thing about PENTATONIX is that "ALL" the members have a say and their opinions are very respected!. Yes! Kirstie has stepped forward with more confidence in the past few years and she talks about this in a recent podcast she did with Scott. But she was never really in the background because even though being surrounded by 4 guys voices, her leads ALWAYS soared!! The guys made sure it did! All PTX members have such a BEAUTIFUL aura about them that makes SO LIKABLE!!! + They are FREAKIN TALENTED!!!
@@gailseatonhumbert9199 read my post! I did say "technically" AND I did say he was approached and introduced to Avi and HELPED pay for Kevin's plane ticket. And if we are talking "PENTATONIX" as in the group itself is what I was referring to. OF COURSE BEN IS VERY IMPORTANT person in the group but since these guys are new reactors I don't want to confuse them. 😌✌
Back in 2013, when they were getting their YT career off the ground, they did a medley called "Evolution of Music" that was a mix of "pop" through the ages, mainly C20th. In it, Bohemian Rhapsody was included with Ms Maldonado singing the "Mamma Mia" bit. Over the years, it was assumed a full version would be impossible. As you know, it wasn't! If you want more ridiculous PTX vocal acrobatics, then I add my recommendations, to all the others here, to check it out. They went on to do other "Evolution of ..." medleys for specific artists. My favourites are Michael Jackson and Beyonce but I'm old :-) Check them all out.
@Greybeard101 Thank you for the great comment and the recommendations. We will try and get to those in time, we tend to go all over the place and spin off a lot but usually return to keep it all fresh. Stay tuned
@@BritPopsReact PTX performed "Mad World" from their homes during the COVID lockdown in the USA. They met virtually to arrange the parts, each sang and recorded their own, and their audio and video team assembled the pieces. It's an amazing arrangement, but for each to do it solo? Wow.
The video that I feel like really made Pentatonix popular was there Evolution of Music, which I'd love to see you guys react to at some point. Also, Hallelujah is a great cover by them
As you watch them, you will be able to pick out who is singing what. There voices are so different, but the blend them so well. Watch their live version of Hallelujah and you will see that it really is them.
This video looks so much like its been over produced, but if you watch the aforementioned private live version you will see that they can do the exact same version live. Simply incredible!
As a fellow Brit living in the States, I really enjoyed this! Can I suggest you watch/listen to Pentatonix singing Bohemian Rhapsody, seeing how excited you got with this I know you will love it! Also, If you like Avi's base, RING OF FIRE by Home Free and Avi is a MUST!
@Michaelagh Malone-Hansen Thank you for popping in to see us. We have had a lot of comments for Bohemian Rhapsody, we recently did a reaction to Angelina Jordan doing her cover of it, so we like to give it some time before we doing another reaction to the same song. Plus, we enjoy looking for the "other" songs too and going on a little detour. Hope you enjoy our channel and come back soon
@@BritPopsReact Thats understandable, Sound of silence is another great one by Pentatonix, if your looking for something different. Love love love Angelina & Dimash, so much amazing talent out there!
Oh yes... PLEASE react to Mitch singing 'Your Power!' His voice is unearthly beautiful - you'll be blown away. And yeah, there's a whole wealth of Pentatonix stuff to look at. There are some amazing live performances of 'Hallelujah,' 'On My Way Home,' 'A-ha!' (the Imogen Heap song, not the Swedish group) that are well worth checking out. I see you've already had a lot of their covers recommended, but they have some incredible original works as well - 'Love Again' is a similar EDM vibe to the Daft Punk Medley, 'and there's 'Coffee In Bed,' 'Happy Now,' 'Standing By...'
No auto tune ever - if you ever think you hear it, or any altering, find a live version. I guarantee it will sound exactly the same. Remember, these people are not humans! ❤
More PTX please! 🙏 Do “The Evolution of Michael Jackson” for a live room performance with no editing! Just them with some well-mixed microphones, it’ll blow you away!
@TheREAL Scrub_Jake Thank you for the comment, we have so many recommendations, we are not sure where to go next. We will be back soon with more from PTX so stay tuned. Hope you check out some of our other reactions too.
Brit Pops React hey I would still highly recommend starting with the Sing-Off. It’s the very beginning of a long, amazing career with some serious character progression from the members 👌 and you’ll get a much better understanding of everything going on with the group. Plus, PTX fans (Pentaholics) will show up for every. single. reaction. lol Start with the Sing-Off, then watch their old videos with their original Bass singer Avi Kaplan. Then later move into the stuff with the new Bass Matt Salee and check out all the greatest live performances in between! They have so much good stuff out there and the fans will absolutely all help guide you through it. Thanks for the content guys ✌️
Great reaction guys! Hallelujah has both an official video and a live version from one of their Christmas specials. You could do a back to back comparison if you like. Also, if you want to see a video where Kirstin has the lead checkout their cover of Say Something!
@jenell56 We have seen "Home Front" mentioned a few times. We will do something from them on our next recording session. Always great to find new artists, just our cup of tea!! Have a great day
I love their live videos where they are just sitting/standing and singing. Try Evolution of Music, Evolution of Beyonce, Happy, No. These don't have studio production, but it shows off their talents.
Mitch never looks the same twice. Fashionesta.
Ha! Look forward to the next one and see what he looks like :) thanks for watching.
Sitting here laughing at the the "how can it be that low comment"! That isn't even low for Avi, he's been known to blow speakers with his bass!
Aha in Singapore... There is only one video that was recorded by a fan on a cell phone... But it is live and unbelievably awesome
Amazing Performance! 💖
I second this as a live video.
NOT YET!! They need more of their standard stuff first so they are already in awe before they get that monster Avi & Mitch face

@@BritPopsReact anytime..you guys are just so lovely and genuine
1st Grammy, spent all of 400 dollars and used Avi's closet and kitchen. Avi left in 2017.
Otherworldly talented. Great Reaction. You 2 should do "Bohemian Rhapsody" next. Mitch is a chameleon, his looks constantly change. There are other good A Capella groups out there with hundreds of millions of views...PTX has over 5+ BILLION views...there it is.
I like all of Pentatonix's songs. But I love their versions of John Lennon Imagine and Queen Bohemian Rhapsody. Please have a look at these two videos.
The harmonies in Imagine are so beautiful
@Sandra Grüntjens
Thank you for the comment.
We will get to those soon.
It is so fun to watch new reactions to PTX! Might I suggest Bohemian Rhapsody, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, and any of their originals, like Happy Now, Coffee in Bed, and Never Gonna Smile Again!!!
@Patricia Shope
Thank you for the comment, we will be back with more soon.
You just fell down the Pentatonix rabbit hole. They are consistently amazing!
There's nothing better than watching people discovering the miracle that's PTX! Loved your reaction 😁, please check "Can you feel the love tonight" and "Imagine"
@PTX Lover68
Thank you for the comment.
We will return to them soon.
Thank you for watching.
There is a video of PTX performing this live without mics on a private performance!! PTX prides themselves on recording songs they can perform live!!!
There's also one of them performing Daft Punk live on Japanese TV that's excellent! Live and professionally recorded! 💖
It's always a good day when you get to listen to Pentatonix. And Avi's bass is great - shame he's now quit.
@donepearce
Thanks for watching Don,
We have something a little interesting coming up later.
We will do some "Home Front" on our next recoding session.
Stay tuned
One can still hear Avi Kaplan in his solo work.
Mad world, New rules & Are you that somebody, Gold, Halleluja (from the christmas special), Amasing Grace, Coffee in bed, Be my eyes....
Love your reactions. Pentatonix actually watches reaction videos. They love it.
Check out the live performance of Hallelujah, please!
the best live performance for sound is " popspring" three original songs and the Michael Jackson medley AMAZING !! once you get to watching their videos you will be a Pentaholic like us LOL
Hello from Texas!! I am absolutely loving your reactions to PTX. They are amazing - they will give you goosebumps...

Thank you again for reacting to Pentatonix. You guys are great
@Laura D
Thank you for watching and your comment.
Bohemian Rhapsody, Shallow, wizard of ahhs with toddrick Hall, imagine, sound of silence, Jolene, cheerleader are ones u definitely need to check out
@Martin Couttie
Thank for watching, we appreciate it.
Back soon with more from the wonderful PTX
So much fun watching you fellas discover Pentatonix. We've all been at that open-mouthed-in-amazement stage, so it's a kick to share yours with you. Others have made terrific recommendations for future reactions, but for laid-back, one-take masterpieces that show off their vocal and creative abilities, I vote for "Evolution of Michael Jackson" and their cover of Kiiara's "Gold." More PTX, please!
@Kaye Castleman
Thank you for watching and for the comment.
These "Evolution" ones do sound interesting.
Thanks and come back soon
Yes, Bohemian Rhapsody and Hallelujah both must watch performances.
@EnderOllie 4
Thank you for the great comment and the support, we appreciate it.
@Susan Peterson
Thank you for the support and for watching, we appreciate it.
Hallelujah is by far the best show of all of their skills imo.
Great reaction. Thank you. They are amazing. There were 7 Daft Punk songs in the medley. I look forward to more Pentatonix reactions.
@vidsorama2
Thank you for the comment, we appreciate the support too.
Check out Imagine and Hallelujah, absolutely amazing
There exist live version of this, where they sing it in realtime with all those scratch effects and all.
Yes they won a Grammy for this one. They recorded it in a closet at their house and did the video at the kitchen table.
If you want to see them push sounds-you-don't-think-people-can-make to the limits then their original, Love Again is a great track to check out :)
100%
@Gaxx
Thank you for the comment.
Yes, we should check out their original content also.
Great idea.

Thanks for the comment.
Have you been checking out any of these "Maneskin" songs?
They are damn good, they can rock man
@@BritPopsReact I was just about to look them over! How bout we get Pentatonix to do a Brit Pop Medley?? How insane to hear Oasis/Blur/Pulp/Supergrass etc done by these guys!! It would be soooo cool! Cheers!

That would be a great idea..who do we call?
Hey, I dropped "Alias Kid" on BP1 it should be out soon.
We may not get many views on it, but we don't mind..
Hope you check it out and thanks for the recommendation.
Gosh there is so many songs I look forward to seeing your reaction but Imagine has a beautiful message, Hallelujah & Amazing grace are angelic, mad world is beautifully done. I can go on and on lol, you really can't go wrong with Pentatonix
@Sky Coburn
Thank you for the comment, we will be back with more soon.
Loved the reaction guys! Subscribed! Bohemian Rhapsody time for sure, followed by Sound of Silence
@EkVisions
Thanks for the support, we appreciate it.
Back with more soon
It's gets even better the more you listen to it...
@Marable Morgan
It does indeed Marable.
I just returned from watching them in concert last night in London.
All the best from BP2
You must watch pentatonix - daft punk medley live in private room. They use no microphone = no chance to add auto tune or anything
@Chad Needham
Thanks for the comment, that does sound interesting.
We like interesting here, we may just check him out.
Thanks for watching
Avi Kaplan is one of thre best existing basses(in my opinion)..The next two are--Tim Foust(Home Free),and Goeff Castellucci(Voiceplay).All thre are unbelievable(crazy good),but my personal favorite is Tim Foust(Home Free)..
@Kruno Obad
That is very interesting, we have yet to react to "Home Free" but we have started to see them mentioned often.
We should get to them soon.
Thanks for watching.
More Pentatonix please. I suggest La La Latch or New Rules/Are You That Somebody.
@Cecy Z
Thank you for the clarification, I had read it from one of the comments, but always good to get it clarified.
Thanks for watching.
Your reactions are so much fun! Thanks for diving in to PTX!
@Kelly Christianson Shanafelt
Thank you for watching and happy to hear you enjoyed it
More coming soon.
The beatboxer will sometimes play a cello, but it always seen. They hide nothing. Also if Kevin is playing the cello,he is normally beatboxing at the same time, he calls it cello boxing lol. Also Mitch is always changing his look, and so does kirsten, she changes her hair color often
@travis russell
Thank you for the great comment.
No auto tune! Check out a live performance. I'd suggest Aha.. Singapore.
haha, i am loving this.
Oh 3 x 10/10 BP1, BP2 and CC ;)
A kind of spin-off of PTX would be Superfruit, a Project of Mitch and Scott. I like that as well. My favorites being imaginary Parties and Worth it. Guy.exe is sweet as well
well, almost right with the score ;)
@Chris Cross
That was great fun, we really enjoyed that.
@Chris Cross
😉 On reflection it was worth a 10/10
Love Again is an original written by Avi and Kevin
@Sarah Gould
Thank you for the comment and the interesting information, just goes to show what you can achieve with a bit of thought and creativity.
@Elaine Howard
Ahh, sorry to keep you waiting.
We only do this in our spare time and usually get to record reactions maybe twice a week and post 2 reactions per day if we have enough.
We will get to record more on Friday and release them next week,
We will do more PTX very soon.
Thanks for waiting, we don't want to do too many and everyone know how we will react.
Where's the fun in that 😄
Brit Pops React so sorry guys, I didn't realize how limited your time was. I will be more patient. Thank you for you kind words xx
Aha Singapore! Amazing live one.
loved your reaction!! please react soon to Pentatonix - Hallelujah (pre-recorded and live if possible)!!
@Jaime Covers
Thank you for watching and the comment.
We will be back with more PTX soon.
Not sure where we will go next, but it's gonna be great
So much fun to look at your reaction! I have been a fan since 2011 and I’m always in awe of what they do. Enjoy the ride. 🤗
@elaine courteau
Thank you, we appreciate it.
@LarryWT
Thank you for the great information, we appreciate it.
We will be back with more PTX soon.
@@BritPopsReact I'll be looking forward to it!
@@Bonofox1 no. If you want to go on that basis then Ben Bram is the leader. He talked Scott into it, introduced him to Avi and found Kevin as well.
@Greybeard101
Thank you for the great comment and the recommendations.
We will try and get to those in time, we tend to go all over the place and spin off a lot but usually return to keep it all fresh.
Stay tuned

if you want a song without the bells and whistles . .you may enjoy Pentatonix's Mad World ... by Tears for Fears ..
@Dan Ellwein
Ohhh, great song.
Wonder how they do that one.
We should check it out.
Thanks for watching.
It will give you chills
@@BritPopsReact PTX performed "Mad World" from their homes during the COVID lockdown in the USA. They met virtually to arrange the parts, each sang and recorded their own, and their audio and video team assembled the pieces. It's an amazing arrangement, but for each to do it solo? Wow.
even if you don't react to it, find a moment to watch the green room of this, for your own happiness.
@K
Thank you.
Will do, maybe just for our own knowledge.
Good thinking.
This was a $400.....a few cosmetics and a closet = their first Grammy....😎
@Michael Enhel
Brilliant, how great to hear you can win on a budget.
The video that I feel like really made Pentatonix popular was there Evolution of Music, which I'd love to see you guys react to at some point. Also, Hallelujah is a great cover by them
You guys should absolutely listen to there version of Amazing Grace it's soooooo beautiful
@Michaelagh Malone-Hansen
Thank you for popping in to see us.

@Debbie Rhodes
Thank you for watching
We have had quite a few comment about Mitch's cover.
We should go and check that out soon.
Awesome. More pentatonix please😀😀😀
@Ryan Je
Thank you, we enjoyed that too.
More coming soon.
PTX,s Carol of Bells is wonderful
Saw them in Concert in 2019 they were amazing, and actually it was Avi who picked Matt to replace him.
@Linda Osmon
Thank you for watching,
More PTX please! 🙏 Do “The Evolution of Michael Jackson” for a live room performance with no editing! Just them with some well-mixed microphones, it’ll blow you away!
@TheREAL Scrub_Jake
Thank you for the comment, we have so many recommendations, we are not sure where to go next.
Aren't they Fabulous! Give Home Free a listen too... another a capella group with so much talent
@jenell56
We have seen "Home Front" mentioned a few times.
We will do something from them on our next recording session.
Always great to find new artists, just our cup of tea!!

I love their live videos where they are just sitting/standing and singing. Try Evolution of Music, Evolution of Beyonce, Happy, No. These don't have studio production, but it shows off their talents.
And..they shot it all in a closet and kitchen! Yes, green room!
