I totally agree about keeping the kick drum reverb subtle. If I took all the side-eye I've given engineers for drowning my kick drum in reverb I'd be looking back into my brain! Go Chris!

Very cool, Chris! As always. Indeed, in Reverence there's 2 great sounding Room Verbs that I use almost always: LA Studio and/or NY Studio. I dig 'em. Thanks, and have a great week!

We place a hard highcut on the wet signal, as the real reflections are normaly in the lower frequences. That makes the room more realistic.

That works well for sure... To compare... Try adding the highcut before the signal hits the reverb... Go with whatever sounds better to you
