Moving to Houston from Iowa next week! I’ve been watching your videos to help learn about ocean/bay fishing. Cool thing about Houston is 45 mins southeast I’ll be in the able to saltwater fishing, and an hour north I’ll have most of the fresh water species I’m used to up north! So cool!

heck yah that is one of really great aspects of living in Houston if a person is an outdoors person of any sort, despite the heat and humidity we always gotta suffer through lol

We NEVER have much success at Christmas Bay, but you have given us hope! We don't fish it often, but we will keep putting the work in. Love the videos!

@@CostaAzulFishingDanielGarza 😂 I assumed the kayak but I didn't even own it yet. Had to view the video to see what you were talking about. This video goes way back. I just switched up lures to see what they were willing to bite.

Neat watching the frustrated outings and then the following vids showing days of success. Unlike most you recognized you need to make adjustments to avoid another adventure into the pit of misery.... dilly......dilly

A beautiful day for fishing my brother. PSALMS 118:24 "This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it." Nice catches on them flounders and excellent point and well stated about the rod tip not having to be all the way down. Keep up the good works on these cinemas!!!

You need to me a video of fishing the lights in pirates cove man! All throughout the alleys you can catch a ton! I don't have a paddle drive kayak and it's a pain when you have to anchor but with your set up it would be perfect for out there!

Awesome man. Just a heads up sheeps head is really good eating!!! A lot of people don't like them because they look funky but they're as good as flounder like no joke. So next time keep a couple and try em out.

Hey Brock, yeah I remember you. The Outback is great. The 2018 is just like my 2017. Only difference is the mirage drive has a small change but everything else is the same for the most part

my very first flounder bite I spit it back out I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I bought this one. I did not like it all the meat was smushy if that makes any sense. if I ever catch one my self I will give it another try.

    • @MDLRFishing

I know what you're saying. The meat is very tender and soft.

Does he have a po box for goodies? Can't have hungry Marines... they've been known to decimate large buffets in a single serving!
My sister and I are now jonesin' for fresh seafood! Thhhhhanks! lol

      Thanks Max! lol.
I checked into the P.O. Box and it's not in the cards for me right now at $25 a month. I'm spending big $$$ driving all over Texas for these videos, new tackle, maintenance upkeep for my equipment and gas. When I start earning more I'll definitely get one.

I’m new to kayak fishing so any pointers will be great. Are there any events where kayakers fish together?
