There's not significant drop off at all, Texas rotates D-Linemen alot and still are very disruptive regardless of who's on the field. Vandy is ine game abd Texas was still never in threat of losing that game. @sebastianmutu6203

A single RB won't win the game by himself but the only single guy that CAN is your OC. Texas is elite vs pass OR elite vs run but not both at the same time.
Texas has very distinct defense personnel groupings specialized at one or the other.
The key is to catch the grouping you want to exploit on the field and then run tempo to prevent subs. Clemson did that very well to us later in the game. Cheap or not, I'd expect to see "soft injuries" happen to stop that from happening too much.

If you're going to act like analysts, you may want to do some research. Good luck tiring out a 2-deep DL by throwing, checks notes, WR screens? You should at least watch highlights in the 4th quarters vs. Texas A&M and Clemson. Those 4th and goal line stands should show you how tired they were in the 4th quarter against more talented teams.
ASU is self-proclaimed the "Island of Misfit Toys," because those toys were donated to Goodwill due to not being able to crack the starting rotation at real football schools. Sure, they are a great team and can win, but can we stop pretending all the intangibles that are being touted for ASU aren't the same for Texas? Texas didn't lose to any lesser competition, and this is a one-and-done scenario. Why would they take an opponent lightly now?
Texas has more to prove than anyone in this game. Don’t underestimate how much they want to beat the Big 12

Mike Tyson said it best, everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. Texas is too deep, lines on both sides of the ball are big fast and will control the lines of scrimmage. Arizona State has not seen linebackers like Texas has. Offensively Texas has too many ways to attack Arizona states defense. 35-10 Texas and Texas runs the ball sitting on the lead in 4th quarter just like they did to many opponents that were outclassed.
ASU shut down the #2nd best air raid in the country the only team with two 1000 yard receivers lol. Ewers is not beating us your line is what’s going to stomp us.

Boise St. and ASU are in the same boat but Boise St. has a slightly better chance to keep it close because the Penn State D is a step behind Texas in terms of success rate. I think Boise State covers the 10.5 while Az. St. gets taken behind the wood shed in the 4th quarter and loses by 2 touchdowns or more.

Ewers is ass cheeks, if Arizona State can keep Texas from running wild they have a chance. That said, Leavitt is the x factor, I think it may have to come down to him running a bit to pick up first downs and keep the offense on the field.
