Heck yeah, I really prefer having the old school jack IMO! You never know with Bluetooth if it will default to a speaker rather then a headphone and then your conversation or video is broadcast across the whole house
I bought one of those USB C dongles and lost it within a month. And Bluetooth headphones break way too easily. I'll take my 3mm jack everyday of the week.
This is easily the best Moto g power because of the design, 120 hertz refresh rate, fingerprint sensor, 5g finally, 5,000 mAh battery and $300 price tag makes it a very decent deal. The biggest cons are no NFC and no OLED screen. Also, Motorola should get with 2023 and up their software OS and security patch updates. I do think it's kinda ridiculous you can pick up a Pixel 6 as I did off Amazon renewed for $248 and it's almost 2 years old and will get more support with more features. I'm a huge Motorola fan but they need to start being a bit more modern on some things.
I think it's because there's a ton of different Moto devices, but there's not many pixels (regular, a, and pro). I imagine that's a lot of compatibility they'd have to consider while adding OS updates.
I just picked a Prepaid version (by Straight Talk) for $100 at Walmart. For this price, it's really hard to complain about it . 😊 ETA: This version only has 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage..
I also have this device. For $299. The price was a bit much. But it was an itch I had to get on this device out of the gate. Motorola could have had....dare to say.... a Pixel 6a killer here. But a few things here. YES, the 6A will be the iPhone SE of android once the 7a drops at a $299 price but this Moto will be a darn near free on a port in . AND again, this Moto came short ... again.... 1 OS major update!?!? and no NFC. The lack of NFC was a BIG let down, because I did not do my homework and assumed it would. I use Google pay. The UI is so Pixel like. Yes for the 1st 24 hours the phone was a little laggy. After that, the SoC ( Media-tek) has been... ok. I did not have time to play games. But after that it has been a good experience. The phone has the Pixel dialer so I have call screening. I pay for Google 1 so I get magic eraser / Pixel-like camera features. The 6GB of ram and 256GB is awesome. I have the white version. It is really sharp. But with Pixel A line OR the Samsung A line (espl. the A54 ) I find it hard to recommend, if for free and NFC is not being used-then it's a maybe. Sorry for the wordie comment.😁 But I like to share experiences .
I guess with the pixel 7a now being $500, this looks like more of a bargain. One thing that wasn't mentioned is that Motorola finally brought back dual stereo speakers that haven't been on a G Power since 2020. I'd rather have dual speakers than NFC to be honest.

I actually sold my Pixel 7 Pro for this phone, but not in a flattering way. The 7 Pro was fantastic, but being made from glass and having a curved screen made it difficult to find a proper screen protector and durable case. (The sides are hardly protective, Poetic's cases for the device were pathetic) So that was a headache. Secondly was how expensive it is even with the discount I got (Paid $850 with trade in for the 512 gb model) on top of the monthly insurance. After not being able to find a white whale combo of a great case and screen protector due to the curved screen and fragile design I gave up. Maybe Motorola only gives 1 major update is because phones aren't kept that long for major updates. Like who keeps a low cost budget phone like this for more than 1-2 years? Does it have a built in FM radio? iPhones suck, and I miss the LG Stylo phones I used to have. So last July I bought my first Moto g phone, (4g Stylus) and I'm ready to try out this new 5g phone.

The camera is absolutely trash on mine. Everything else is ok, but this is a total crap sensor. I've had flip phones that took better photos. I'm dumping mine as soon as android gets the sos satellite text chips.
Im going to save some users from the disappointment that comes with buying a motorola. Some of you wont listen, and you will likely find it out the hard way. DONT BUY A MOTOROLA! They have the worst customer support and technical department that is unable to solve any issue. Read the forums on motorola. Users have serious dissatisfaction with a whole host of bugs and issues reported and remaining unresolved for years! Foget months! I had the misfortune of buying a motorola edge 30 ultra. The camera being a flagship is the worst thing i could have imagined. We dont have android 13 yet. We dont even have an updated security patch. The phone is full of bugs and issues that render it worse than a budget range brick! Please do yourself a kindness and get a brand with better customer service satisfaction
I had last 3 Motorola phones, they are just great, the problem is with some morons who play with their phones all day until they fuck them up and don't know what they did and get angry with C.S .... Just angry customers like this one
The problem with some people is that they think they are the only ones who know how to use a phone. I guess all the people complaining about the phone on the Motorola forum and various other models as well must also be morons according to this all knowing phone user.
I have had positive experiences with Motorola support even on one of our older moto g play phone.. they corrected the bugs.. you probably expected a budget phone to be a flagship phone.. anyway support helps if you take the time to clearly explain any bugs and make sure you understand and follow the instructions they give

Running last update 12.0. Got last security update 3 months ago. Tried 2 phones with mediatek processor in them. Sold one returned the 10:28 other. Put my sim back in the LG. Installed Bitdefender Security app for full smartphone security web & vpn. Looking for a older flagship released later than the LG g8 x. Someone let me know of a midrange or budget phone that runs good with a mediatek pushing it.
Goid video as usual.
I loved my last Motorola phone but it would get hot and the back warped. I'm using a Samsung galaxy A11 and it sucks. It freezes up all the time and I have to charge 3 times a day. I'm thinking about the moto g power 2023 it's only $100 though Straight Talk.
It was free through Xfinity mobile I just got one
I, have the Galaxy A-13 and it is the worst phone ever i made a big mistake it is junk you do not even want for free so I'm seriously considering the Motorola g 2023
Just picked this phone up for $199.99 on Amazon Black Friday sale.
the speaker quality sound and mic quality are not as good as the 2020 model
My friend got the moto g power 2023 5g. He got the locked version. He's going through spectrum mobile with a 128 GB. I noticed when he go to the play store and try to download games they ask him for a credit card what a rip off 🤬 beware of the carrier you get this phone from
some of them are being sold with the 720 display and they dont tell you that when you buy it.
might swich my samsung galaxy A03 is sucks hard to use motorola was my first cell 650 im going back to them seem's easy to use
The processor.. why tho lol they should use Sandragon.
The camera is absolutely trash on mine. Everything else is ok, but this is a total crap sensor. I've had flip phones that took better photos. I'm dumping mine as soon as android gets the sos satellite text chips.
It runs the Microsoft Launcher, very nice
i just ordered this for $50 because i broke mine yesterday
NO NFC?
Can we please bring bach the photon q¿ Motos never been better
CANT FIND MORE FOR THE PRICE!
Nothing wrong with my Pixel 6a battery. Easily lasts all day, even with moderate use.
I've had some people have other issues with it but I'm glad your having a good experience!
@@TechRight There shouldn't really be issues with a 4400mA battery and a 60hz only display.
With only 1 update, I'm going to pass on this one !
Then other brands like Samsung have multiple updates but slow processors
BLOATWARE BLOATWARE BLOATWARE Gotta love MOTO😀 once you log in its 20X worse with Googles crap. and Android 13 has WAY too many bugs in it.
Not hard to figure out what to do... do some research
The moto stylus no good
Can't tap pay with this phone
It's better to steer clear of stuff like that anyway really ...
@@That-Ninjaexactly you shouldn't want bank information stored online anyway
💪💪💪💪💪💪
👍👍👍
Stereo speakers??
stereo one on top and one on bottom easy to hear phone calls my Galaxy you have to turn it upside down and activate speaker to hear a call this sound like better option
